The space
Ideally suited for holiday travel or business trips alike, yet capturing a home away from home feel. Relax on the deck in the shade of the large oak trees or enjoy the comfort of the spacious and tastefully decorated lounge. This unit has a comfortable office space should you need to get some work done. This exceptional, completely private and secure accommodation in the heart of Melville is all about you and whatever takes your fancy.

WiFi access is customised for your unit to ensure the maximum of available speeds. The unit is fitted with a laptop sized safe and a full alarm system to ensure your safety and security at all times.

The bedroom configuration allows for a large king size arrangement or two twin beds, whichever is your personal preference. If king size is not your thing, please let us know and we will re-arrange prior to your arrival.

There is a separate study which can also convert into a sleeping space with a single bed.

Guest access
A single off-street parking bay is allocated for exclusive use of guests in this unit. The unit is accessed through your own security gate and is completely private.

Other things to note
The unit allows for self-catering stays and is equipped with essential cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
For short-term stays (1 week or less), a small selection of refreshments are available on an honesty payment basis. Replenishment will be done on request during your stay.
All stays include a weekly cleaning service and re-stock of the tea/coffee selection. Bedding and towels will be changed weekly.
A light continental-styled breakfast daily can be arranged at an additional fee, as well as a more frequent cleaning service or linen change.
Whilst check-in is strictly after 2PM (14:00) and check-out strictly before 11AM (11:00), early check-ins and late check-outs can be accommodated if arranged ahead of time. An additional fee of R150 will apply.
We gladly accommodate pets, however an additional fee of R650 applies for pets, irrespective of the duration of the stay.

Whether it's a quick drink after work, a snack on the go or an exceptional sit down meal you're after, it's within a short distance of your stay. You’re welcome to explore on your own or discuss recommendations with me.

The Melville Koppies Nature Reserve is in your backyard. This exceptional natural setting, with rocks between 2,7 and 3,2 billion years old and an ancient Iron Age furnace, is covered with indigenous fauna and flora. Scale the rocky outrcoppings for a spectacular view of the Johannesburg skyline.

It is a favourite spot where locals, with or without carefree canine companions, stroll early morning and evening to soak up some peace and tranquility in the heart of a pulsating city. Please get a key for the nearest access gate from me, should you wish to experience a different side of city life.
