The space
Escape to a stunning stone cottage nestled on a 132 acre estate. This serene and romantic getaway is perfect for couples, intimate families, and girls' trips, offering complete privacy and a chance to disconnect from the outside world.
As an extra indulgence, we also offer massages right at the cottage from a local masseuse - message us after booking for this add-on option.

When you arrive at the cottage, you'll be greeted by a breathtaking view of the estate. The beautiful pool (available from Memorial Day to Mid-October)
Note pool is not heated but does get full sun so is often great to swim in till mid sept!
and outdoor living area, complete with a large hot tub for year-round enjoyment, will make you feel like you're in Italy.
As night falls, the string lights and ambient lighting create a magical setting for relaxation and unwinding. You can also gather around the firepit by the pool for s'mores and even cook some burgers or steaks on the cooking rack. For a more peaceful experience, relax on the porch swing and enjoy a good book.
The estate also boasts a mile-long scenic paved walking trail that leads to the river, as well as wooded hiking trails for a serene and private oasis filled with wildlife.
To explore the area, we offer e-bike and golf cart rentals. The Enola low grade trail, a long paved biking trail that runs along the river, is perfect for a ride. The rental fee for the golf cart is $95 per day, and the e-bikes are $50 per day per bike.
At the end of the half-mile driveway, you'll find a pond where you can enjoy a picnic or relax on the hammock. Please note that the pond is shared with two other houses on the estate and is fully stocked for fishing fun. Paddleboards are also available for your use.
Step inside the cottage to find an interior designer's dream. Each detail has been carefully thought out, from the massive stone fireplace in the cozy living room, complete with a queen sleeper sofa, to the unique floors. The romantic master bedroom with a king bed, luxury linens, and cozy blankets will make you feel right at home, and the robes provided are perfect for lounging in. There is also a cozy loft with another king bed that feels like a fort for adults and a fun spot for children.
The tiled walk-in shower and open concept bathroom features a pedestal sink, soft towels, and complimentary soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
In the lovely kitchenette, you'll find a large island perfect for an intimate brunch date, a Breville espresso machine for your favorite drinks, a waffle maker (be sure to bring ingredients!), and all the necessary appliances, including two mini fridges, a small freezer, an electric stovetop burner, an electric skillet, a toaster, a blender, a drip coffee maker, and a grill outside the door with a side burner.
The property is located just three minutes from the historic town of Wrightsville, where you can enjoy waterfront dining at the renowned John Wright restaurant, visit an antique market, or take a stroll along the Susquehanna riverfront. For a little luxury in your travels, we are conveniently located just three minutes from the 30 bypass and 15 minutes from shopping malls. The Amish community in Lancaster is only a 25-minute drive away, with its stunning scenery, horse and buggy tours, and delicious home-cooked food.

Other things to note
Please note that this pool house can be rented with the mansion but also as a separate stay, the pool house sits at the bottom of the rocky Roundtop Mountain and the mansion is up on top of the rocky cliffs.
So they do have complete privacy from each other.
The kitchen is a kitchenette! No cook top or baker! An electric skillet and waffle maker & microwave as well as a grill with a side burner is there for you to prep food on.
This listing is for your guest number only, sleeps up to 6 guests if the pullout sofa is used.
You will be asked to confirm total guest number.
Please do not instant book this property without communicating with the host if you plan on having more than 6 guests on the property at anytime!
We typically do not allow extra guests in and out, unless permitted by host. In which, extra charges may be added.
In order to accommodate both couples and small groups, we do charge extra for more than 2 guests.
You are staying in the woods and along with the privacy that offers you may encounter bugs, especially during season changes.
Please be aware that some might come inside regardless of any effort on our part.
