The space
Spend the day out on the water, make dinner while watching the waves, hit the hot tub, then spend the night watching movies from bed!
-- WATER ACCESS: PRIVATE BEACH --
We are directly on the water and offer water toys such as a kayak, paddleboard, and floaties in the summer (May-Sept), along with life jackets for adults and children. We recommend bringing water shoes as the Hood Canal is a rocky beach. In the summer the Hood Canal typically has warm and calm water.
-- OUTDOOR SPACE AND AMENITIES --
Enjoy the water views from our deck and hot tub, complete with a grill, outdoor shower, and firepit. Our hot tub is available year-round (quiet hours from 8AM-10PM) and is kept spotless and cleaned and rebalanced between every guest. Our cabin and patio sits right on the private beach. Our cabin is between two nearby properties with privacy fences, your outdoor spaces are private but there may be people on the beach on either side of you. The back of the house has a small rock garden with seating and seasonal flowers.
-- BEDROOMS --
The cabin has one bedroom with a king bed facing directly towards the water. The bedroom has a privacy curtain to separate it from the living room. The projector shines on the window blind for viewing from bed or the couch. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted to a king bed. Both bedrooms have premium hotel-quality mattresses and linens.
--LIVING AND DINING--
Enjoy gorgeous water views with luxurious seating and a wood burning fireplace. Our brand new kitchen provides all the essentials for cooking. Our appliances (oven, dishwasher, and fridge) are compact and not full-sized, but are designed to be sufficient for meals for up to 4 people. We have a stovetop and essential appliances (coffee maker, blender, toaster, cookware and utensils) and do not have a microwave. "Cowhide" rug and "leather" couch are faux.
The property is off of a private drive and is away from the highway: unlike many other homes in the area there is no highway noise.
Guest access
Access: The property is accessed via August smart lock, you will receive a code in advance. The cabin is down a private road, and the entry to the cabin is shared with the neighbors and the Airbnb unit next door.
Neighboring Units: The property has two units, the second unit is a house farther back on the lot. Each unit has separated and private outdoor spaces. You may see other guests and residents on the drive in.
Parking: There is parking for two vehicles in tandem.
Community: This is a quiet community, we expect respect for our neighbors and quiet hours are enforced. Quiet hours start at 10PM, and after 12AM (midnight) gathering outdoors and use of outdoor amenities is prohibited.
Other things to note
This is a small cabin: just larger than a “tiny home”. The space is optimized to maximize the experience, however there is not a large amount of extra storage space or closets (wall hooks and luggage racks provided). Note there is no laundry available onsite.
We do not supply firewood: due to the small amount of storage space and guests having different usage needs, we optimize for the lowest price possible for your stay versus rolling in costs for firewood you may not use.
We allow children, however we do not offer children’s amenities, and due to our premium furniture and amenities we ask that children be well-behaved and supervised. Check out our profile for our other nearby homes that are optimized for children!

The parking space is narrow, we can fit a maximum of two cars tandem. Large vehicles and SUVs may not be a fit. We do not offer alternate parking so please make sure this will work for you before booking.
Due to parking and septic limitations we do not allow visitors or additional guests.
For security, we have outdoor cameras at points of entry to the property. Camera 1 is facing the driveway coming in, and Camera 2 faces outward from the outside of the deck towards the water. The cameras do not face the hot tub, and footage is only reviewed if there are reported issues.
The area is subject to occasional power outages (which may impact well/water operation) and burn bans. We do not offer compensation for regional burn bans or road closures. We offer compensation for daytime power outages over 90 minutes.
