The Shangrila is a spacious 450+ sqft apartment with Lanai/Balcony on the 20th Floor of the Fairway Villa Complex. It boasts an Ocean/Diamond Head/Alawai Canal Golf Course View and has everything you would need to come relax and enjoy a few weeks or even months in Hawaii. It is located in downtown Waikiki on the corner of 2345 Alawai Blvd with a cross street of Walina. A convenient location, with the food pantry grocery store across the street, bus, food, shopping, dining, a block away and the beach, zoo, Kapiolani park, a mere 10 minute walk away. For the safety of our guests, the building has 24 hour security with Key card secured doors.
Amenities include, Pool on the top Deck, (29th floor) , Hot Tub, Sauna, showers, and two large stainless steel gas barbecues for guests to enjoy.
There is a trash chute right next to my unit so you don't have to walk far to throw out the garbage and your recyclables.
There is a washer dryer in the unit for added convenience. The unit is furnished with a table, two single beds that form a king or they can be separated, dresser, tv/dvd, Fully equipped kitchen with all the needed cups plates, pans etc. Full size fridge, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker with grinder.
As an added bonus, FREE High Speed Internet, and FREE long distance calling within the Continental US and Canada is provided.
Normal Rates & Terms
$125/nt 13.962% Hawaiian Taxes + $110.00 cleaning fee + $250 refundable security deposit.
Units will remain on the rental market until a deposit is received.
$250 deposit due to reserve the room. Full payment is due 90 days before arrival

The neighborhood is really well located in Waikiki.
You are right on the Alawai canal side of Waikiki so you have the opportunity for a wonderful night or day stroll along the canal watching the other health enthusiasts or the practicing paddle boat racers on the water.
You are 10 minutes from the Beach, the Food Pantry is right across the street, and Shopping, Dining and Restaurants are all within reach.
The Bus system is named you guessed it. "The Bus"
It costs $2 for a one way ticket and goes all over the island!
Respect the unit as is it is your own home.
-Please take off shoes before entering the unit,
-Clean up after each meal as little critters are very common in Hawaii and we don't want to encourage them
- No loud noise after 10pm
- If there is any flooding or leaking, turn the water valve to the sink or toilet off.
"Righty Tighty" to turn off the valve.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a handling fee of $250
Lock-out or Lost Keys: Renters are solely responsible for all lost keys and replacements. A charge of $75.00 for each condo door key. A charge of $100 for any
lost parking pass will be assessed.
A Reminder: You are renting a privately owned condo. Please be considerate of the belongings of the owner and to the people who will be renting the unit after you. Please do not rearrange the furniture, take any items outside that are part of the interior décor, or move any furnishings or kitchen items to another unit. You will be charged if the housekeepers have to rearrange the furniture after your stay.
Since the premises are privately owned, the owner shall not be responsible for any additional furnishings not presently in the unit. Renter will reimburse the owner for any damages or costs to the premises, furnishings, equipment, and household items / missing items therein which occur during the renter’s occupancy. Furnishings must not be moved or re-arranged and will be charged to put back in its original location.
Pets are not allowed.
Absolutely No smoking indoors.
Owner request that guests smoke only in outdoor designated areas. If housekeeping staff reports smoking activity, you will forfeit your $250 security deposit.
We are serious about maintaining an atmosphere for the quiet enjoyment of all of our guests. We will rent to responsible adults only. (In Hawaii, there is a custom of taking off shoes before entering a house, so to maintain a clean floor and comfortable unit please remove all shoes upon entering the unit.)
We had really good time. Mike was friendly and the room was much better than the photos. we saw a beautiful sunrise and night view from the balcony. So cool!!
Free wifi and inside Landry machine. The bus stops, food pantry are very close. Security is perfect. This condominium is comfortable to stay.

This was my first trip to Hawaii and it was a wonderful experience.
The studio is in secure building. It has a roof top terrace with 360 degree view, pool, BBQs and sunbeds.

We really loved our stay at the Fairway Villa. The condo was very clean and is excellent located in Waikiki close to the only real supermarket. It´s perfectly equipped, especially the kitchen which we really appreciated because we like to cook by ourselves. The 24h security staff was very friendly and the bus station to the Ala Moana Center is just around the corner.
The lanai has a nice view over Ala Wai Channel and you can even see the sea. Beautiful sunrises wake you up every morning. There are plenty of beachchairs and toys including an airmatress so you can spend a relaxful day on the beach. We also loved the huge roof terrace equipped with BBQ Facilitites, a pool and sunbeds. Great for sunsets and the Friday firework by the Sheraton! The pictures on airbnb reveal the real condo pretty good.
Mike was an awesome host and a good communicator from the very beginning. He answered promptly every question we had and we were lucky to meet him twice. He really takes care of the apartment for example coming along with new equipment, bulbs and candles.
We definitly would stay there again. Thanks for the everything, Mike!
We stayed at Mike's apartment for two weeks and really enjoyed our stay. The place was centrally placed in Waikiki so we could walk everywhere and the bus stops were close by too. The place itself was in a secure building, had a little balcony and perfect for a couple. We really enjoyed our time staying there and could highly recommend the place to others. We were never able to meet Mike in person but he was always very helpful and easy to get in touch with.
Great location for waikiki. Mike made us feel very welcome and accommodated us for extra nights when hurricane iselle cancelled our flights.
The space was perfect for our Hawaiian getaway. Pool, hot tub and loungers on the top deck were a great alternative to the beach.

Både Mike and Nicky var veldig imøtekommende og hjelpsomme fra første dag vi tok kontakt! Leiligheten ligger i umiddelbar nærhet til strender, handlegater og restauranter. Leiligheten hadde kjempefin utsikt og var nydelig innredet. Vi hadde alt vi trengte i leiligheten, og Mike og Nicky var generøse og snille fra dag 1. Vi bodde i leiligheten en måned, og kommer veldig gjerne igjen! Vi var kjempefornøyde med alt og har ingenting å klage på!:)
Lillian and Espen were wonderful to meet on a couple occasions, We had the chance to come down and help Espen with an incident that required the use of our Essential Oils for a natural remedy. Thanks Lillian and Espen for being open to that.
Wonderful couple that we will see again. Had the pleasure of seeing them off the last night with some beer, chips and salsa. Would definitely recommend them as guests.
