We had a wonderful stay at Aine's homey house! Aine is a great host and she did everything to make our stay comfortable and free of stress. The house is so conveniently located (Galway City, beaches, Connemara), spotlessly clean, well equipped). Our two year old son loved the house and the nearby blue flag beach. We manage to do a number of day trips in Connemara because the house is so well situated. It was lovely to come back to the house at the end of the day to relax in front of turf fire! We'd recommend Aine's house to anyone who wants to discover the beautiful region.
Very nice house, would highly recommend. Supermarket & beach very close. Interesting wildlife all around house. Contact with host very good.
Áine''s house is extremely well designed. We were three older women and could each have our own room with comfortable beds and good quality bedding. Everything worked perfectly. We enjoyed sitting by a peat fire in the evenings. The house is in a great location, right off the main coast road but very quiet at night. It is convenient to Galway City, Connemara and the Aran Islands. There is a good supermarket and beach within walking distance. Best of all was the chance to talk to Áine, who is a fascinating person.
I had made a mistake and missed that there is no internet. It wasn't Áine's fault, but she went out of her way to arrange with one of the neighbors for me to use their wifi. She is a lovely, gracious hostess.
My friends and I would all recommend this place without reservation.
We went to Connemara with my family (4 persons) and we had a wonderful stay at Áine's.She had prepared a turf fire for us (it was still a bit cold in the evening) and bought some groceries! How thoughtful! We had a lovely chat we her and she adviced us where to go and left some flyers about what to see in Connemara. The house is so pleasant to live in, we were so close to the sea and Galway and the ferries to the Aran Islands, it was perfect! We would definitely come back the sooner or later! Thanks again Áine!
I love having visitors in my holiday house in Inverin. I love the house because of its spectacular setting in the heart of the Gaeltacht overlooking Galway Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. I like to create a warm, inviting atmosphere with comfortable furnishings, books, board games and every kitchen gadget necessary for cooking nice meals! Connemara is beautiful, whatever the weather, and I like visitors to relax and engage in whatever they enjoy best be it culture, sport or exploring the area, all easily accessed from my house. Sometimes my visitors feel so relaxed they opt to stay at home, chill out with a glass of wine and chat by the fire.
