Perched on the edge of a tiny island in the Stockholm Archipelago, this unusual and charming wooden house promises a harmonious vacation. Admire the breathtaking views, take a bracing dip, and relax in the sauna; a truly restful wilderness retreat.with a private jetty
The cottage is suitable for a couple, or families, meaning that there’s place for up to 5 people when at least 2-3 are kids as there are 3 day beds.
If there are teenagers we can let you use an extra bedroom in our work studio.

The space
Architect drawn and award winning seacottage with stunning lake views placed literary “on the water” on a small island on an island in Saxarfjärden. Windows and patio doors all around provide an unbelievable view and connection to the sea. The plan of the cottage is spiral-shaped with two planes shifted in height and lateral. A well-separated deck with stairs down the water on the sea side and a sheltered deck on the entrance side, both with evening sun during the summer. There is a small kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer and microwave oven.

Sea cabin is located on an island without a roads or municipal transport so you need to take a taxi boat OR: if you have Nautic skills and you rent the aluminium boat for the week, transport is included. (4500:- sek 2024)
You have your own private jetty and will also have access to shared wooded sauna and shared dock, with the other house on the plot.

You can borrow life wests but it could be that I don´t have the specific size you need, so you need to make sure in advance or bring your own
There is a Kayak, a SUP and some fishing gear to borrow.

Other things to note
The toilet is a Cinderella (ignition toilet), meaning it burns its contents in to ashes.
You need to get a boat taxi, and there’s a boat you can rent, if you rent the boat the pick up is included.
The prices are specified in the text, I avoid writing it twice, so i don’t risk forgetting to adjust more than once between seasons. 😅
