Nestled behind a private gated entrance, this stunning tropical estate welcomes you with breathtaking panoramic views of the Caribbean. Surrounded by lush landscaping, the villa offers an exceptional sense of privacy, a spectacular private pool, and sweeping ocean views from both levels of this 2 story villa. Inside, five sets of double doors open to the pool terrace, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience perfect for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying the warm Caribbean breeze.
The space
The villa’s open-concept first floor is designed for effortless island living, featuring a well-appointed kitchen, comfortable living area, indoor and outdoor dining spaces, and a full bath — all flowing seamlessly onto the expansive 30-foot private pool terrace.
Upstairs, you’ll find three spacious bedrooms, each with its own private ensuite bath for comfort and privacy and each of the bedrooms have an air conditioning unit. The second level also includes a cozy den/study perfect for movie nights or relaxing with a book, along with a generous covered porch offering breathtaking Caribbean views and cooling trade winds. Just beyond the porch, a peaceful garden terrace awaits, surrounded by lush tropical landscaping with banana and papaya trees.
Villa Destino comfortably accommodates up to six guests in three thoughtfully designed bedroom suites. Each of the guest suites have air conditioning and ceiling fans.
Main Suite
The spacious primary suite features a queen bed, private ensuite bath, and French doors that open directly onto the secluded garden terrace.
Second Guest Suite
This inviting guest room includes a queen bed, ensuite bath, and stunning Caribbean views.
Third Guest Suite
The oversized third suite offers exceptional flexibility with a king bed that can also be configured as two twins, a private bath across the hall, separate sitting area with a sofa sleeper, and views of the Caribbean and pool area.
Villa Destino includes the upscale amenities you expect from a luxury island retreat, including gated entry with security camera*, Wi-Fi, flat-screen satellite TV, quality appliances, outdoor gas grill, washer/dryer, and more. All rooms have ceiling fans and the 3 guest rooms have air conditioners. Guests will also find everything needed for unforgettable beach days on Vieques, including plush beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, and beach toys. To provide a more sustainable and reliable experience, the villa is equipped with a state-of-the-art solar energy system featuring a Tesla Powerwall II battery backup system. This eco-friendly system helps provide dependable power during your stay, although extended island-wide outages following major storms may still impact service.

Within 48 hours of reserving your stay (or sooner if check in is less than 48 hours from booking), you will need to sign our rental agreement, including names and ages of all guests. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of reservation.
After your reservation is confirmed, we will send you a link to our comprehensive digital guidebook which contains everything you need to know about the house along with recommendations for restaurants, beaches and things to do in the area. It also contains a map which will help you navigate around the island and back to the house, which is critical since there are very few addresses or street signs on the island.
The house has air conditioning in each of the 3 bedrooms and ceiling fans in all rooms throughout the house.
Vieques is a small island 7 miles off the main island of Puerto Rico. You will need to either fly or take the ferry from Puerto Rico to the island of Vieques. We recommend you fly from either SJU or Ceiba to Vieques.
We strongly suggest you purchase trip insurance, especially if your travel is during the most active months of Hurricane season (September - early October).
Vieques is a tropical island, and as such, has a variety of bugs. We spray regularly, however, some bugs are inevitable during your stay.

Destino is a quiet neighborhood in the hills overlooking the National Wildlife Refuge with unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea. It is a short 3 minute drive to the entrance to the National Wildlife Refuge which has the best beaches on the island.

When we moved to Wisconsin in 1998, we started visiting the Caribbean and the southern US to escape the cold winters and enjoy the serenity and beauty of the beaches. We purchased our first vacation home in Vieques and recently purchased a second vacation home on Hilton Head Island. We love to visit both places several times per year but are also excited to share our homes when we can't be there and strive to provide a luxury experience for our guests.
