As soon as you enter, you will be welcomed into a spacious, functional and elegant kitchen with an authentic Burgundy stone floor. The contrast between the black furniture and the oak-colored worktop creates a warm atmosphere. It is equipped with a fridge, oven, dishwasher and everything you need to prepare your meals. The large table accommodates 6 to 8 guests, promising convivial moments.
Your relaxation begins in the beautiful living room, where two large orange velvet sofas harmonize with a marble fireplace (non-functional) adorned with a period mirror. The large windows bathe the space in natural light, revealing a glazed parquet floor that tells the stories of yesteryear. A dedicated corner with board games and a selection of books invites you to spend hours of enriching leisure time.
Under the grand stone staircase is an ingeniously designed space to store your coats and shoes, and a convenient toilet with sink, all on a traditional terracotta floor.
Climb the grand majestic staircase in Burgundy stone, whose wrought iron ramp guides you upstairs. As you ascend to the night area, you will fall in awe of the bacchanalian children in bas-reliefs and the sculptures that adorn the walls.
Halfway up the stairs, access a functional laundry room to take care of your laundry during your stay.
Upstairs, the first bedroom with lime green hues, offers a 160 cm king-size bed, surrounded by selected furniture: a dresser, a clothes rack, as well as a luggage rack. The 2 extra armchairs, bedside lamps and two large windows make this room as practical as it is welcoming.
The private adjoining shower room, with its modern sink and large mirror, offers all the comforts you need.
On the landing, a second toilet is available.
The second bedroom with soft green walls also offers a 160 cm bed (separable into 2 80 cm beds). A storage closet, luggage rack, and a duo of lamps on the bedside tables create a harmonious and functional space. The glazed floor and purple marble fireplace are touches of elegance that complete this room.
At the end of the tiled floor hallway, enter the third and last bedroom in shades of ocher. This room offers two 80 cm single beds, perfect for friends or children. With its large adjoining dressing room, it is ideal for long stays. The windows open onto a peaceful view of the well and the horses out for a walk. The brand new light oak flooring adds to the ambient serenity.
The shared bathroom is equipped with a bathtub where you can relax, as well as a sink with storage for your belongings, all offering a view of the Burgundian roof.
The visit ends with the discovery of the garden and the wooded park, where you can sit down for outdoor meals, with the peaceful daily life of horses and castle life as a backdrop.
Linens will not be changed during your stay.

Guest access
The Château de Bretenière is divided into several apartments and annexes. You have a complete wing entirely privatized. The outdoor space in front of the building is also reserved for you. The garden adjoining the castle is accessible to all its inhabitants, while respecting the space, tranquility and safety of each.
Château de Bretenière is home to a private horse boarding house with its 'Paddock Paradise' where horses can walk at their leisure in the 10-hectare park. Also, chickens and geese on the property will delight animal lovers.

Under no circumstances should animals on the property be fed.
No pets allowed in the accommodation. No smoking inside the house is allowed. No parties will be tolerated. It is recommended to reduce any excessive noise that could disturb the neighborhood between 9pm and 8am. Any damage or theft in the accommodation will be subject to a security deposit deduction via the payment method you registered online. These damages may also be subject to prosecution by your civil insurance or by the competent authorities.
