Casa Marubia, an oasis close to Lake Maggiore and the Swiss border. Very well equipped for longer and shorter stays for 2-3 people, also suitable for small children. Well-maintained and stylishly furnished with lots of books. This includes a beautiful balcony overlooking the lake and a communal garden invites you to linger. Ideal for families, couples and anyone who loves nature, enjoys hiking, excursions around the lake or just wants to relax. Dogs on request.

The space
We have a small apartment on the lower floor of our house with a large balcony and access to the garden.
It is easily accessible by car on the edge of the village and all to itself overlooking the lake. The garden has large trees and shady spots, in summer hammocks and a small pool. For children we have various toys and a swing in the garden.
The apartment (about 75 m²) consists of a living-dining room with well-equipped, open kitchen and 2 separate bedrooms with a double bed (1.60 m) and a large single bed (1.20 m wide) and modern bathroom with shower and washing machine.
It is cozy and functional for shorter and longer stays, with many books (German) and everything you need
It has free Wi-Fi and a small TV.
There is a charge for using the washing machine and dryer.
Free parking is available on the street right in front of the house.

Guest access
A large garden available to all guests, in summer with a barbecue area, a fire pit and hammocks. Especially small children are very welcome. In the garden, a swing and various toys await them, depending on the season.

Neighborhood highlights

Agra is a small typical Italian village above Lake Maggiore near Luino and not far from the Swiss border. (at 680 m above sea level) There are two pizzerias in the village, two small grocery stores and the post office. In summer, the lake with many swimming spots can be reached in 15 minutes by car and the circular routes giro del sole and giro della luna with a beautiful view over the lake starts a few meters from the house.
On Wednesdays, the market in Luino invites you to a tour, with breakfast by the lake or in summer with a boat trip.
