The Huckleberry Chalet is so lovely and has beautiful energy. Hayden and Emily's taste and attention to detail are exquisite. I could not have asked for anything better (except, perhaps, to have enjoyed the chalet for a personal trip instead of business). This chalet would be the perfect home base for a couple's romantic getaway or small family's trip to Welches or Mt. Hood. I will definitely be back.
Hayden and Emily were great hosts and the house was fantastic! They were great with communicating details and the house matched the description. The house has gorgeous surroundings. Open layout on the first floor was great for a group.
We had a really perfect weekend at the Huckleberry Chalet. The cabin is both gorgeous and comfortable, we loved the hot tub (and the jetted tub in the master), and it was nice to be in such a quiet location that was also super easy to access.
The kitchen has everything one would want, and it's organized neatly. I also enjoyed beating my boyfriend at foosball. :)
Two enthusiastic thumbs up!
The Huckleberry Chalet was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay for a couple days. Hayden and Emily were extremely hospitable as they were always in contact and the cabin itself was in perfect condition. There were nice touches around every corner such as directions in using all of the amenities as well as suggestions for activities to do around Mt Hood. I would definitely recommend the Huckleberry Chalet to anyone who wants a nice, relaxing few days away in the Oregon wilderness only one hour away from Portland!
Hayden and Emily's Welches home was fantastic place for my family to stay during our trip to Mt. Hood. The home is wonderfully set back way in Welches but has great open space for groups to cook, eat, and play games. We took advantage of the great kitchen on the first night and both nights we stayed at the house we took advantage of the game closet. The hot tub is fantastic, new, and works perfectly. I would definitely stay here again in an instant!
We've had great time. The house was big and very comfortable. The owner were accommodating and responded promptly to our questions. Outdoors tab for awesome. After a day of skiing we relaxed in the hot water while staring at the stars. We shall be back.
Super house. Big kitchen and nice dining room for family dinners. Hot tub was a sweet touch. The house looked legendary.

There is a nice hike called the Old Salmon River trail that's a 5-10 minute drive in Welches. It's an easy and scenic hike along the Salmon River. Just a 10 minute drive from the Huckleberry Chalet.
This is a friendly grocery store within 5 minutes of the house that also has a great wine and beer selection.
Great local restaurant, delicious food, nice bar, and friendly staff.
We recommend the Ernst Ranch Burger with Tillamook Cheddar. Only 5 minutes from the Huckleberry Chalet.
Quick, delicious, healthy wraps and smoothies
We recommend the Sante Fe Wrap on the chipotle wrap with avocado and the scream sickle smoothie. Only 5 minutes from the Huckleberry Chalet.
Our favorite hike is the Ramona Falls hike, it's about 7 miles round trip and leads you to a beautiful cascading waterfall. Pack a picnic to enjoy at the waterfall.
