Me and my family stayed in Welches at The Huckleberry Chalet and loved it!!! It is a beautiful place. The house was equiped with everything we needed and very inviting. The hot tub was awesome!! We highly recommend it.
The Huckleberry Chalet is beautiful and unique! It's nestled in the woods just far enough from the highway to feel secluded, but close enough to restaurants, bars and grocery store/coffee shop. Easy drive up the mountain as well! We had everything we needed throughout our stay and especially enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. Hayden and Emily were very nice and easy to reach! I would definitely stay there again myself and recommend their place to others.
What a great experience we had staying at The Huckleberry Chalet!
After a challenge getting to the place because of conditions... our stay was perfect. Please note, if the weather is harsh because of snow or ice, make sure you have a vehicle that can make it up a hill in these conditions! Fortunately, we were well prepared and had a lovely time. Very secluded and absolutely beautiful inside and out. The heated floors are a HUGE bonus in the winter.
Also, my wife forgot her purse at the chalet and the hosts were so lovely and brought it back into town for us! Thank you so much!
Highly recommend staying here.
Our stay at the Huckleberry Chalet was a great experience. The home is an incredible property, in a private location with nice mountain views. We enjoyed entertaining in the large kitchen/living room area, spent time relaxing in the hot tub, and had easy access to lots of outdoor fun!
Hayden and Emily were great hosts. The house comes with clear directions on use and location of everything you could possibly need. They were quick to answer our questions and very accommodating. We are already planning our next stay at this gorgeous property! I'd highly recommend it for anyone.
We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful mountain home. We loved being in the trees, the fire pit, hot tub and the decks made for a very relaxing weekend. Our 20 month old son loved exploring the paths with Dada (me) and we all had a blast sledding at White River Snow Park. I even slipped out for a little snowboarding at Mt. Hood Meadows on Sunday morning. The home is close to a store, pizza joint and a gas station so everything you need is nearby. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice weekend getaway. We plan to come back!
This property is absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect and the house was stocked with all the necessities. I thoroughly enjoyed the heated floors and the Jacuzzi.
This house was perfect! Very spacious and beautiful. Very well kept. Great location near Mt. Hood - about a 30 minute drive up to Timberline Lodge. The house is located in a private wooded area which definitely adds to the ambiance. We brought our dog, had a blast, and definitely had a very relaxing weekend! Hayden and Emily were so great and quick to respond to all our questions. We would really recommend this place and would definitely stay again.
The house was really nice, great for our family getaway from Portland. Mountain activities (Timberline lodge, skiing) were a close drive. We enjoyed the hot tub, fires in the pellet stove, and cooking in the well equipped kitchen. Hayden & Emily were incredibly easy to communicate with, and provided thorough instructions as well as recommendations about the Welches area.
We stayed four nights with extended family after Christmas and found the home to be beautifully decorated for the holiday.. Tree and all. The kids loved exploring the deck areas and we all had a few good soaks in the hot tub. Despite the lack of snow, the adults took turns doing some trail runs in the area and thoroughly enjoyed that. No need to eat out, the kitchen was great and there is a convenient grocery store a mile or two down the road. So fun! Save us a spot for next year...can't wait to return to the Huckleberry Chalet.
Hayden was amazing, very responsive and wanted to make sure our stay was perfect.
The home itself is in a very private area and is beautiful. It was the cleanest Airbnb property I have ever stayed at. I would recommend it to anyone!
