  • Perfect experience. The home is truly spectacular and private. Everything about it is comfortable, so you feel so at home in your vacation state of mind. The floor to ceiling chalet windows create such an incredible open feel to the space and the loft space is perfect for the kids. Having netflix is fantastic and we loved having all the games to play with from the first level armoire. Plenty of sheets and towels, lovely hot tub, great views, most excellent kitchen stocked with all you need for cooking and dining. Very easy access to Mt. Hood snow fun and groceries and restaurants. Couldn't have asked for more. Hosts were prompt and gracious. Would LOVE to come back.

  • The Huckleberry Chalet was everything we expected and more. A group of friends and I went for a weekend of skiing and relaxing. We were more than surprised with the amazing space and how nice it was. From sitting in the hot tub late at night, to cooking in the kitchen, we enjoyed every minute. The house was clean and well organized. We had everything we needed and more. There was a great book that explained everything in the house and how to utilize all of the amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already thinking about going back. Could not get enough!

  • This place is terrific! The property is gorgeous, secluded, and spacious - this is the perfect house for a weekend away from Portland. Hayden and Emily were very helpful and responsive while we were planning our trip, and they had the house prepared hours ahead of schedule. This was my first time booking with Airbib and the bar was set VERY high.

  • The Huckleberry Chalet is beautiful and unique! It's nestled in the woods just far enough from the highway to feel secluded, but close enough to restaurants, bars and grocery store/coffee shop. Easy drive up the mountain as well! We had everything we needed throughout our stay and especially enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. Hayden and Emily were very nice and easy to reach! I would definitely stay there again myself and recommend their place to others.

  • What a great experience we had staying at The Huckleberry Chalet!

After a challenge getting to the place because of conditions... our stay was perfect. Please note, if the weather is harsh because of snow or ice, make sure you have a vehicle that can make it up a hill in these conditions! Fortunately, we were well prepared and had a lovely time. Very secluded and absolutely beautiful inside and out. The heated floors are a HUGE bonus in the winter.

Also, my wife forgot her purse at the chalet and the hosts were so lovely and brought it back into town for us! Thank you so much!

    Highly recommend staying here.

  • Our stay at the Huckleberry Chalet was a great experience. The home is an incredible property, in a private location with nice mountain views. We enjoyed entertaining in the large kitchen/living room area, spent time relaxing in the hot tub, and had easy access to lots of outdoor fun!

Hayden and Emily were great hosts. The house comes with clear directions on use and location of everything you could possibly need. They were quick to answer our questions and very accommodating. We are already planning our next stay at this gorgeous property! I'd highly recommend it for anyone.

  • We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful mountain home. We loved being in the trees, the fire pit, hot tub and the decks made for a very relaxing weekend. Our 20 month old son loved exploring the paths with Dada (me) and we all had a blast sledding at White River Snow Park. I even slipped out for a little snowboarding at Mt. Hood Meadows on Sunday morning. The home is close to a store, pizza joint and a gas station so everything you need is nearby. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice weekend getaway. We plan to come back!

The house is located in a private wooded area which definitely adds to the ambiance. We brought our dog, had a blast, and definitely had a very relaxing weekend! Hayden and Emily were so great and quick to respond to all our questions. We would really recommend this place and would definitely stay again.
