Mystic Pines, in the Upper Canyon of Ruidoso, has a large, peaceful deck that gives you a treehouse feel as you gather for morning coffee, an evening adult beverage, or to watch wildlife! Centrally located for easy access to all that Ruidoso has to offer, Mystic Pines is the perfect home base for making memories with friends and family. Plus, there's a small fenced yard with deck access for your pups! Can you smell the pines? Come enjoy everything Ruidoso has to offer.

The space
Mystic Pines is nestled within the desired Village of Ruidoso Upper Canyon neighborhood and offers guests a peaceful retreat with its large upper deck in the pines. While staying among a community of residents and fellow vacationers, guests can enjoy the beauty of Ruidoso, where local wildlife roam freely. Two king beds and two twins make this a perfect cabin for two couples or a family. Although the cabin is perfect for a family of 4, we sometimes make exceptions and allow more under the right circumstances. The small fenced yard is ideal for allowing your pups a little freedom while on vacation.

Mystic Pines sits on high ground and has not been affected by flooding in Ruidoso. It's important to stay aware of the weather during your visit to Ruidoso, and the cabin is a safe place to wait if flash flooding does occur. Flood damage clean-up is ongoing around the Village.

During the winter months, occasional inclement weather can occur. Although the cabin is not on a steep incline, if roads become icy, a four-wheel drive vehicle or tire chains are recommended.

Note: Both king beds have high-quality hybrid mattresses on the firm side. While we receive many compliments on the beds, if you prefer a softer bed, this cabin may not suit your needs.

Please note that the cabin's living area is exclusively located on the upper level and is accessible only by stairs. Guests should be comfortable climbing stairs to fully enjoy the accommodations. The downstairs is strictly storage.

Other things to note
Deer, elk, and wild horses are abundant around the cabin, and it is important to remember that they are wild animals. For your protection and theirs, the Village of Ruidoso prohibits feeding the wildlife. In addition, although rarely seen at the cabin, Ruidoso has bears and other predatory animals. Enjoy the wildlife from a distance!
