Cottage vacation rentals in Romania

The location is very nice for families with children and not only. The animals on the farm are very nice, their puppy is a wonder and a beauty. They have zip line, climbing panel, you can shoot with the bow(the children can shoot, the bow being for them, but very funny). The house is clean, it can be a problem for a woman with a baby to climb or descend to and from upstairs. The area itself is good if you want to get away from the crazy city. Mr. Constantin is nice, I stayed with him on a story but without being disturbing. A real outlaw!👊👊👊Children aged 6-12 had maximum fun. What to keep in mind: I would not appreciate it as a place for posers and people of the kind who need to do everything for them. There is wood cut, it is necessary to put on the fire because the house is big. Unfortunately, the tub is very hard to heat, we after many hours of making fire in the corresponding stove we gave up taking a bath. It's right that it was quite cold outside😁The Sauna is for a fee.

We stayed two days with the aim to relax and be comfortable in the Romanian winter. The place is really warm and cozy , clean and has a very nice hot tub inside which we used for an extra fee , and the utilities described are accurate. the host is really friendly always ready to help speaks fluently English and her recommendations for eating or sightseeing were very helpful. There is a very clean and organized kitchenette near the house ,also very cozy ready for use at any time with everything that you could need Me and my girlfriend had two very relaxed and cozy days and I would recommend it to anyone that comes for the Romanian mountains either in the winter or summer.

Me and my friends had an amazing weekend at this modern house! The interior was stylish, spacious, and had everything we needed. Outside, we enjoyed the barbecue area and jacuzzi, both perfect for relaxing together. The pool is only available in summer. The view was stunning, and there was a lovely play area for the kids. The landlord was fantastic—he responded quickly to our messages and even left us some homemade local alcohol, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was the perfect getaway spot, and we’d absolutely recommend it!

The place was very nice, quiet and pacefull. It was very clean and very well organzined. The host was friendly and helpful. The final stretch of the road is a forest road but is not that bad. With a car which has a modest clearance from the ground shouldn't be any problems. I really recomend this for people that want a relaxing escape from the city or for people who want to explore the Apuseni region.

Denisa was very kind and attentive from the beginning. She was quick to respond to inquiries and was very helpful and in every way. From the beginning, Marinela made us feel welcome and encouraged us to feel right at home. The house itself is very well equipped and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. Marinela was always available and willing to help us with any questions. The small village has its own magic. Time seems to stand still. We felt completely comfortable and in good hands during our stay. This place is a real insider tip that we can only recommend!

We had a great time at the Greengarden House, the host was really kind and thoughtful. The place was clean and well equipped. We could enjoy the hot tub and the snooker table. I recommend the house!

A very nice place to stay with your friends and enjoy some peaceful days. Quiet, private, beautiful surroundings. The place is equipped with everything you need and is clean. Many outdoor places where you can stay & chill, beautiful terrace, garden, fire pit, barbecue, jacuzzi. Ciprian is very friendly, responsive and he has guided us with any question. Totally recommend this place, we had a wonderful time and we will definitely come back in the future!

Wow, just wow!!! Staying at Cosy Barn was just the retreat we were after. Maria has created two beautiful homes in traditional style, but finished to modern standards. (The kitchen had everything we needed, including a moka coffee maker! And the shower was wonderful!) The gardens are an idyllic respite from the world, peaceful and beautiful. We loved relaxing in the sunshine, with only birdsong and tractors as our soundtrack. Our children (8/10) were in seventh heaven on the trampoline and playing with Maria’s cats, dogs and pony. Maria was the most wonderful host - warm, kind and helpful. She made us feel very welcome and went out of her way to help us get the most out of our stay. Thank you! NB. We travelled in mid-April, out of season. Breb was beautifully quiet and free of tourists. But this also meant there was only one restaurant open in the village.

Central location to visit the wooden churches and the Maramures. Green and bucolic environment.. falling asleep to the murmur of the river is an enchantment.. Penelope is very helpful and responsive she is very attentive. the house is lovely and very well restored with today's comfort and amenities. place to recommend... Thanks

Nice place! Clean, cozy and organized

At Alex cottage and farm I felt like turning back on time almost 40 years ago when I was spending my holidays at my grandparents house. There is a lot to learn on how we can reuse things that already have ended their lifecycle of primary use/destination and I would gladly return to those surroundings and really have a meaningful conversation with Alex, Alin or Andrada. I booked the cottage for the weekend, after a stressful week at work and amazingly I missed all these good conversations as I was able to sleep more than 14 hours almost uninterrupted. It has given me back the energy I need for the following weeks of work. It is a personal record for me. Surroundings are peaceful and quite, the walk in the Forrest with my 2 best friends - a black labrador and a Jack russel was sunny, serene, so you can practice there anytime mindfulness. Alex's dogs has opened the path for this nice 2 hours walk. Highly recommend for those who want to escape from the daily hussle of life. Thank you, Alex

Hai La Saivan is a magical experience for people with an adventurous spirit looking to disconnect from the outer world and connect with the self, other guests and the host / staff. You are literally staying on top of a hill, with breathtaking views, completely remote. Only access is by the host’s cars (you will see why when you get there), all the staff lives in a village close by, not on the property, so over night you and other guests are 100% by yourselves. We’ve never experienced something similar so far. The accomodation is better than the photos, the food is delicious and the staff is super friendly. Whatever you need, they will provide it for you. Thank you Raluca for an amazing experience. We were very happy with everything and mom was over the moon, which was our goal for her 60th birthday ❤️ We will be back 100%. Andra

Andrei was proactive and responded quickly to messages. It has this rustic and clean house, equipped with what you need. The landscape is wonderful, seen directly from the yard, and the gazebo is welcome and nicely arranged.

Very nice and quiet place. We stayed for a weekend with our puppy. Both we and she were excited about the spacious garden (shared with the other guests). It helped that the property is fenced and we weren't worried that it could escape. 🙂 We had everything we needed, we felt comfortable, and the hosts were helpful when we asked questions. We will definitely come back. 😊

We stayed in George's Wood Cabin before and once again we were not disappoited with our choice. The cabin is very cosy, and despite the appearance feels very spacios. George is very kind and fexible, and communication is always very smooth with him. I would higly recommend visiting the Wood Cabin! It's located in a beautiful mountain region and it's a great choice for those who love hicking or long walks in the mountain. Thank you George once again for making us feel like home!

Diana's kingdom is an island of peace and nature. As soon as you enter, time stops for a moment and then the magic happens. The house is carefully planned and designed - the well-equipped kitchen is great for family cooking, the comfortable beds guarantee quality rest and the small campfire corner is a celebration for roasted marshmallow 5 years old lovers. Diana's attention to detail is evident in every corner, from the small and delicious gifts in the fridge to her helpful recommendations about the area. This is an amazing property with a great host. This was the highlight of our trip in Romania. Absolutely gorgeous area, house beautifully decorated, with great attention to details. The area is secluded, but close to town - you often hear the cow bells int he evening and smell the hay. A slice of heaven. Felicia the host was very helpful connecting us with local businesses where we purchased milk, eggs, and cheese. Can't recommend this place enough.

We enjoyed every minuten of our stay in Adrians house. Fantastic views, good beds, fully equipped kitchen. The local hosts Maria and Ion were incredibly friendly and we talked a lot with them with the help of Google Translate.
