And it comes with a long-running family history. The kitchen and the bathroom have been completely renovated and have a top modern standard. The rest of the house keeps the historic charm with wooden walls and floors. The property is 2400 square meters. There is parking space for three cars. But the best: The view! You will love it!

The place is family friendly with cats and hens, in addition to a large garden with several seating areas. Good hiking and swimming facilities nearby and close to shop and bus stop. Free parking.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

The cottage is located in quiet surroundings and you're going to love our place because it's located right by the fjord. You can easily go fishing and hiking or just relax and enjoying the view. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
