The host responded quickly and very attentively. Very clean place with a good location. Very fair cost-benefit. Super recommended!

The location is quite good, and the communication with the hosts was very easy. Both were very kind to me. My only main downsides are the following. 1) This place has stairs, and, from my experience, one needs to use them a lot. So, do not go for it if you have any mobility impairment (or temporary mobility problem); otherwise, it is completely fine 2) No washing machine, although there is a laundry nearby on the main street. If neither is a problem for you, I recommend the place!

A beautiful space with amazing views. My family of seven had more than enough room. We arrived at 2am and had no issues accessing the home. There was a 24/7 security Marco was wonderful and was always up waiting for us. The house is located in a quiet residential area. people were friendly and we were close to everything We used uber to go everywhere it was super inexpensive. The kitchen was well-equipped and l was able to cook meals for a large group. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive to all concerns l loved the peace and serenity this home provided during our stay in Brazil. Thanks to our hosts

What a divine accommodation!!! Easily accessible, quiet, the view is exactly as shown in the photos, the room is exactly as shown in the photos, comfortable and cozy! Mrs. Marli was a sweet person from start to finish and extremely attentive, decisive, and as I told her, I already arrived wanting to come back. And I'll definitely be back!

Andre was a truly amazing host. He lives nearby and treated us more like friends than guests. We were even invited to his birthday party — an unforgettable and authentic dive into Brazilian culture. The home is located about 1.5 kilometers up a rocky dirt road, with a 300-meter elevation gain — which probably makes a huge difference during the hot season. The views of the granite mountains are stunning, and you really feel immersed in nature. Monkeys are frequent guests There are fantastic hiking trails nearby, including one that leads to a waterfall, and I especially recommend the trail to Chinesa Vista — one of the most breathtaking views of the city from above. It’s about a 30-minute walk each way and a great little workout

Beautiful house in Gávea! Old, with all the good but also with some defects, such as the lack of more natural light. 3 bedroom house, two with air-conditioning. Patrick was very attentive, always responded, before and during the stay. If you're looking for a nice, authentic neighborhood close to both the botanical garden and Lage Park, as well as Leblon, this is the right spot. very good value for money.

Diogo received me in such short notice, and was flexible with my check out time. Marianna was also really helpful, responsive and communicative. The place was cosy and had all the utensils needed. Will deffo recommend.

Our stay at Carlos place was perfect! The neighborhood was great, peaceful, walkable and a lot of stuff to do. It was really close to the beach which is a big plus. The check in went really well, and Carlos was always available to help us by text, thank you!

This was my first time in Rio, and I can say that my experience staying in this apartment was wonderful! The space is very cozy, well decorated and clean, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment. The location is amazing, close to several tourist attractions, such as the Botanical Garden and Lage Park, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies and bakeries, which made the stay much easier. Claudia and Danielle were extremely kind, attentive and always available to help with any questions or needs. I recommend it without so much as a second thought to anyone looking for a pleasant and carefree stay in the wonderful city. I'll definitely be back next time!

Honestly completely loved Henry's place! Getting inside was a bit sketchy at first but very easy. Once inside, the place was fantastic, the views in person from the terrace was honestly amazing, the pictures on the listing don't do it justice! I'll be booking again for sure when back in Rio. The place inside was very clean. It is inside a pacified favela so seeing armed men is very common, I didn't mind at all as they mind their own business. I was walking back to the airbnb at 2-3am and never felt in danger( My girlfriend and I were dressed very nice, however, out of precaution, didn't have any jewelry displaying). I will say that if your not a fan of a little adventure, it might not be for you, in my opinion it was a great and fun experience and provided me with a completely different experience of Rio. Henry was also very accommodating and catered to our itinerary, we will absolutely be coming back! Thanks Henry and Yuri!

We had an amazing stay at this beautifully designed apartment! The space is not only stunning but also incredibly thought out, making it the perfect home from home to enjoy a holiday. The location is unbeatable—just seconds from the beach in a peaceful and safe area. Every detail was well thought out, from the fully stocked amenities to the thoughtful touches like ice, water, and those delicious chocolate truffles (seriously, to die for!). We really enjoyed staying at Leonardo’s. The apartment was so warm and cozy. He put a lot of thought into the layout of the space and having filtered water in the fridge and an expreso maker in the unit was really thoughtful and appreciated. We also enjoyed the Wednesday neighborhood farmers market at the park. Everything was nearby shopping food laundry highly recommend this place.

Absolutely beautiful place in the best neighborhood in Rio. Leblon is extremely charming, the beach is walking distance, safe, and not so full of tourists as copacabana so you get to experience the true Brasil charm. The apartment is perfect, exactly as the picture, modern with a homely feeling, super clean, comfortable beds… I am so happy to have stayed there. Originally I had hotel reservations but when I saw the pictures of this apartment I was in love. This place beats the ocean view, you get to see the Pedra da Gavea and the Christ statue. The host is lovely, very responsive and accommodating. The building staff is friendly and always available. If you have the chance to stay here don’t miss it, when you walk into this apartment you can’t help but feel like the trip is already a success!!!

One of the best Airbnb we have stayed at! Camille was super responsive to our many questions and any concerns. Perfect for couples or small families, very spacious, amazing view, quiet, strong air conditioning for each room, and convenient location for most tourist sites. The elevator is small and water does not get super hot, but both of these are minor and won't bother most people.

Amazing flat with one of the best views of Ipanema! it looks just like the pictures if not better. super close to the beach and the location in general is great with loads of botecos, stores, etc. Julie as a host was amazing, always super responsive and gave us loads of tips. Will definitely try staying here the next time I'm in Rio!

Great apartment and great location

We had an excellent experience at this Airbnb in Botafogo! The apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped, with air-conditioning in all rooms and a super comfortable sofa bed, which was great for our group stay (we were 5 people). The highlight is the penthouse: an incredible leisure space, with sun loungers, chairs, table, shower, barbecue and support carts — perfect for relaxing and enjoying. We were also able to use the garage, which made our logistics much easier. The host was extremely attentive, always responded very quickly and, to top it off, was kind enough to let us come back on the last day to get ready before the flight, even after checkout. This care made all the difference! I highly recommend the accommodation and we will definitely be back!

Sidney was very helpful to our one member of our group that had a later flight, which she really appreciated. Sidney supplied great information ahead of time which helped us with planning. It took us a couple of days to figure out where things were around the condo. It’s close to the beach and there was an evening open air market for souvenirs, local art, hats, tshirts etc. right along the road next to the beach. We really enjoyed our time there.
