Green Lane Carriage, Willersley, Herefordshire

DavidRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Stop looking, you've found the perfect spot. Steve was an excellent host - he met us at the carriage and told us about its history. I love drinking Herefordshire Cider and we ordered a few bottles from Steve's orchard in advance.- which was delicious. Perfect for a couple or a family with young kids. Bathroom spotless, kitchen well equpided, Comfy bed, lots of birdsong, everything we needed for a few days in the country.

Graham and Pip’s place is a real gem, the accommodation is gorgeous. In beautiful surroundings, with wonderful wildlife to enjoy, fabulous walks on your doorstep, a place of calm and serenity. So many places to visit are within easy driving reach, whatever your preferred activity there are mountains, canals and rivers to enjoy and there’s no shortage of options for good food. Graham is a lovely host, helpful and welcoming, he makes you feel at home right away. We would love to stay here again.

Little Owl - 1 bedroom converted railway carriage

CiaránRating, 5 stars45 months ago
Ahh what a lovely retreat. Greated by Sid not long after we checked ourselves in, Sid was very friendly he gave us lots of information on the surrounding area. The cabin was second to none, couldn't have asked for anything else. Clean fresh and simple. Cabin has all the basic you need to cook. Shower was lovely and warm. Had a great night's sleep in the comfy bed, even had two different pillow choices. Look no further, will definitely be back :)

Unusual stay in luxury converted train carriage 2

HannahRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The unique train carriage was a fabulous experience, it was situated in a beautiful place. Weather was terrible but that didn't stop us enjoying our surroundings. Next to the carriage was a pub that served breakfast, the food was amazing and convenient for the family, it's dog friendly too! The carriage does need a little tlc, but we found it pleasant and cosy. Would definitely stay here again. The host was very accommodating to our requirements. Big thank you Steve.

Original freight wagon with amazing views

LiliRating, 5 stars33 months ago
Went away to this beautiful getaway in the Cotswolds. It was so quiet and peaceful. The hosts were so inviting and it was so clean inside. We loved every moment there. The only minor issue was the hot water in the shower sometimes ran out but everything else was perfect. I would and will definitely come again x

The Toad…Quirky train stay with wood fired hot tub

FlorenceRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We stayed in the Toad for our 4 year anniversary of being boyfriend and girlfriend. When we arrived the Toad was beautifully presented and had its own little character and quirks which made it a fun place to stay! We loved the hot tub and the fire area. The area had plenty to explore, we visited Henrhyd Falls where my boyfriend proposed behind the falls! Pen Y Fan is a great challenge to climb and we did the loop route on the map. Brecon Mountain Railway made for a fantastic day out with the steam trains - staff very friendly. Big Pit Coal Mine was fascinating and the waterfall country walk was stunning! Our host was very helpful - we had a tesco delivery arrive and it went to the wrong place but our host sorted it for us. Highly recommend - do not hesitate to book - you will love staying here! Thank you for making our first trip to Wales and the next chapter in our relationship so magical! xx

Unique railway wagon with wood fired hot tub

BridgetRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Maybe our best AirBnB stay yet! Cannot recommend highly enough, and we will be back - hopefully for longer next time. Some highlights: - design! Everything is beautifully and creatively thought out, and has been made to a very high standard. We left feeling inspired. - luxuriousness. We've glamped a lot but this really felt like glamping not camping - delightful touches like brownies on arrival, robes and slippers and of course the hot tub. We left feeling very relaxed and looked after. - beautiful space. The garden was secluded and leafy and still gave us the fun outdoor feel of camping...only we were seriously comfy. The area itself is also stunning - green forests and beautiful red-brick houses. Excited to explore more next time. John was also super friendly and helpful throughout. Thank you! You gave us an amazing experience.
