Stunning period Farmhouse in rural setting

KatelynRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The Farmhouse is a wonderful stay and I cannot thank the hosts enough for a lovely long weekend away. The cottage is beautiful - charming, comfortable, and has everything you need (equipped kitchen, board games and DVDs, fire ready to be lit in the living room, wifi, warm shower, comfy bed, charger for an electric car, perfect yard for dogs). We were there in the spring and the wisteria blooming along the entrance, together with the lovely cottage garden meant it looked like something out of a fairytale. This was my first time in North Wales, and I'm hooked! We had beautiful weather (which I am told is not guaranteed year-round), and spent a lovely few days driving to local beautiful historic villages. We particularly enjoyed a long walk along Conwy beach with our pups. Even in the warm weather it got a little chilly at night, but I bought my own hot water bottle (although again that is supplied in case you forget!). I'm delighted to recommend the Farmhouse to you.

The Hayloft

ThomasRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a lovely stay for 9 days at this beautiful house. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. It’s a charming two-story home with two full bathrooms, two bedrooms, and a sofa bed. The house was cozy and well-equipped for our needs. The farm was a highlight for our kids, who loved feeding the cows and interacting with the animals. The owners, who live in the main house and run the family farm, were incredibly welcoming, especially toward our children. They made our experience even more special. The location is perfect for exploring Wales. There are many picturesque towns and small cities nearby, and it’s an ideal base to discover the region’s stunning beaches and attractions. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend this lovely house.

We had a lovely stay at Cheryl’s! There was plenty of room for three adults, two kids, and a big dog. The kitchen is well-equipped and has a big table, which made for lovely family meals. Enjoyed roasting sausages over the fire outside one night and kids loved mucking around in the creek. Good hot showers, plenty of games and DVDs, cosy fire in the evenings. Hosts were very responsive when we needed to contact them.

Stunning views - cabin near Hay-on-Wye

JamesRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This little oasis is the perfect place. Georgie and co make you feel so welcome, and you get the joy of meeting Pumpkin and Pepper the cat. The walks around are stunning, but with the views from the hammocks you struggle to get out for the walks at times. Beyond peaceful and with beautiful towns near by. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in the area.

Stunning cottage nestled under the Longmynd Hills.

I booked Betty’s Dairy for my son and his family (wife, two children aged 6 and nearly 4) while we stayed at Alf’s Bullpen next door. We all had a wonderful time and the setting is lovely and peaceful. There is so much to do in the local area. The generous welcome basket and milk in the fridge were appreciated and the kids will remember their ride across the fields for a long time! Thank you Kirsty and Chris.
