The Coronation Chalet is a quiet and private resting place between long trips through the vast and characterful Northern Cape. With solar powered amenities and running water, straight from the Orange River Canal, you have a large open deck facing the river and the vineyards. The chalet sleeps up to three people. A double bed in the sectioned bedroom, and a daybed in the open plan lounge. This chalet is well equipped for a braai on the deck, and self-service in the open plan kitchen.

We are within walking distance from a small shopping center.

It is a beautiful well-equipped venue with all that is needed for a relaxing breakaway. The personal were very helpful with solutions during loadshedding. My wife is on oxygen 24/7 and they came with a solution that made it trouble free. They walked the extra mile. 10/10.

What an amazing experience! We can’t stop smiling when we think of this wonderful hidden gem! Martiens and Maxie are the friendliest and most thoughtful hosts, and very kind. Our stay in the serene and cosy farmhouse was a blessing & eating in their restaurant is a “must”! The breakfasts, pizza’s and salad were simply delicious! We were also shown the beautiful cellar where the brandy is produced. Martiens explained to us about the intricacies of this unique vineyard and how the brandy is distilled and acquires different flavours. Anyone seeking peace, birdsong, delicious food and impressive hosting, this is the place to stay.

Like a cool haven in the middle of the desert...swimming pool, river, misty spray around the bar area and lots of ice cold wine and beers. Well appointed cottages equipped with air conditioners in each room and all the basic necessities for self catering. We had a very tasty dinner at the restaurant and the staff were friendly and informative. We would love to return one day.
