Absolutely beautiful. The hosts cared very much for the location and the needs and preferences of the guests. The unit is a 2nd floor stair-access location so may not be suitable for those with mobility limitations, but from the moment you open the door, you immediately feel a sense of “I could live here.” The decor was home-like and inviting, with all kitchen amenities readily available. Every detail was considered: from a spare umbrella at the coat-rack, to coffee-maker with supplies, to mixing bowls in the cupboards. Tucked underneath the TV was a collection of books with something to appeal to all ages and interests; and when that wasn’t enough, there was a deck of cards at hand — perfect for a rainy day. At night the neighbourhood is quiet and still, interrupted only by the early morning chirp of birds. The hosts were as engaged or discreet as a guest might desire and readily adapted to your needs. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank-you Josseline!

Perfect little spot that was super walkable: 25 minute walk from Carleton, 20 minute walk to the grocery store, river walk right out the door, and many shops, cafes, and restaurants close walkable as well. Quick to get a Lyft to the airport. Loved the bathtub.

Kristen and Allen’s place was peaceful and quiet. It was also a real treat to have Allen’s beautiful art hanging on the walls! Kristen and Allen were kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Elcho's guest suite was a perfect retreat! My stay was short but it would be perfect for anyone who is in town for a week and/or is on a working holiday. Make sure to take a walk in Strathcona Park, it's a beautiful spot!

My parents stayed ay Joe & Norma's place for 2 weeks while visiting us. They were very happy with everything!

Cute and cosy little place. Very clean, and very close to Byward market. Although small, we were provided all the amenities we needed. Check in was a breeze and Tatyana and Maya were very quick to answers our questions and address our concerns. Will definitely consider staying again on our next trip to Ottawa! P.S. - The coffee was tasty!

Great stay in a great location. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Ottawa Downtown! Hosts were great communicators and made the whole process super easy.

Monika and her husband were amazing hosts, we found ourselves in an emergency late at night after our car broken down, they where really helpful taking us in, they have an amazing beautiful house and the apartment we got was very nice, clean, spacious and with the necessary gadgets to have a relaxing night after an stressful evening

Alfie’s place was cozy and roomy all at the same time. We immediately felt at home, with natural light pouring in from every direction and views of the water. Bed was comfy, lots of space to hang things and store your bags without being in the way. It’s also a great location in town with easy walking access to everything. Only downside is the bathroom was a bit small, but there was a full length mirror in the main room which helped for getting ready. Alfie was a very welcoming host, and gave clear instructions for check in and check out, making the entire process worry-free. We would definitely stay again!

This is a nice clean, spacious and comfortable apartment with lots of standard size windows for a basement apartment. It was a good base to visit family in East of Ottawa. The internet was also good and I could get some work completed in the apartment. Thank you.

Good central location and close to good transportation links, both for cars and public transport. Reg is a fantastic host, chatty and approachable.

We really enjoyed staying at Stefanie and Stellar’s place! They were so friendly and responsive and the unit was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. It was also in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood while still being easy to get downtown. I hope to have another opportunity to stay here in the future! Leah

Caitlin and her family were amazing. We felt right at home the entire time. She was always helpful and responsive. They even went out of their way to help us move in our groceries as they were heavy. We appreciate all their kindness. Their place was spacious and comfortable to stay in and had everything we needed. It was overall a great experience.

We had a great stay at Reneé’s place. Lots of space and well furnished for short or long stays (we were especially impressed by how well equipped the kitchen was). Would highly recommend and hope to stay again.
