Lovely cottage to stay in a very friendly village. Little honesty shop up the road for milk, meat, cakes & bread. Pub very welcoming. Spoke to so many locals while we were enjoying the glorious sunshine on the patio. Breath taking drive to and from cottage. Would love to stay again

We had a great stay here. A lovely cottage with amazing views! Weather was ok but it didn't spoil our stay or the view. Cottage was very comfortable & well equipped, we felt right at home. The whole place was clean & tidy. Lovely soft fresh towels! We would definitely stay here again.

Comfy Cottage in Idyllic setting

ChristineRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Such a lovely stay at this cottage. Very homely and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We had to contact the host during our stay and we had a reply within minutes and an electrician at the door within 15! Really can’t fault anything, we will definitely be returning.

No. 32

Kim's house is lovely - clean, with fluffy towels and soft carpets, nice furniture, a big garden, a comfortable sofa - exactly what was needed after a day out. Location is great, too, although we couldn't find the house at first (Google maps gave us a location for the middle of the cluster of houses, but you just have to follow the house numbers and the house is near the end of the cul-de-sac). The town is 5 minutes walk away, with a beautiful river and a 400-year old bridge over it. The Gwydir castle is a 15 minute stroll. It's also a perfect place to explore the vicinity - Betws-y-coed is 4 miles away and worth a visit. Kim also offered a late checkout which was wonderful, and a welcome pack was a thoughtful surprise. A really wonderful place.

Welsh Cottage with Large Gardens & Snowdonia Views

BruceRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We were all sad to leave Rhyd Lechog which really says it all. We chose this peaceful Welsh long cottage for our family, as we were celebrating three birthdays and our 50th wedding anniversary next year. Needing space for 6 adults, four children and a dog, the cottage was just perfect. Rain or sun, the children had lots of fun every day in the stream at the bottom of the garden, they especially loved swinging across the water on the rope swing and always referred to it as going down to the lake. The weather was changeable but the house was warm, with a woodburner in the sitting room and also the kitchen. Luckily the radiators dried the children's clothes, wet from the stream, which was such a help. When you book somewhere for a holiday you never really know exactly what it will be like, for us Rhyd Lechog was exactly what we had hoped it would be. Thank you Jasmin and thank you Damian.
