Booked this place for one night during a ski trip in Grindelwald. Parking was easy, easy to find the place and check in, and the receptionist gave a great restaurant recommendation nearby. Was clean, good facilities, had continental breakfast. Great for one night. There were 4 of us so had our own room and it wasn’t super busy when we went so pretty quiet, could hear the people talking in the room next to us pretty clearly when they did check in, but they respected the 10pm quiet hours. Seemed expensive for a hostel but relative to everything else in the area it was cheap so worth it for sure!

location is not the best, around 15 min walk from either the west or lost station.

A night spent in this rather qualitative hostel! Clean, close to the center and place to park. Cheap for the place, I would recommend!

Very convenient for overnight stays as a family Room and bathroom clean. Well-equipped shared kitchen (amazingly clean!), uncomplicated and friendly staff, large space in front of the hostel where the children can run around.

The place is tidy and clean overall. The room (4-bed room) is spacious enough so that I could sleep comfortably. The breakfast buffet is good (the only thing that I wished in the menu was vegetables).

I spent a weekend in Freiburg with my two daughters and we explored the city. The location of the property is very central and only a few meters away from the main train station. Around the corner are several shopping opportunities and also the city center. Wonderful!

A great stay at the hostel, nice room and view. Comfy beds! Great lockers and fridge per room in the kitchen, which was well equipped. Online check in system was bugging slightly, and would be more convenient to have additional bathrooms to use, since 7 people sharing one bathroom and shower delays the arrival to the slopes. Thankyou!

very nice rooms, tastefully decorated despite the simplicity. Very nice kitchen area. Skis and shoe in the hallway is something new. No ski boot dryer, yet dry the next day, probably because of underfloor heating. Great APP with an electronic key and lots of tips.

The hostel was really nice. Although the area was a bit shady as it was basically within the redlight district however it was very close to the main train station and other important landmarks. The staff were really nice and they have lot's of activities.

Stefan is the perfect hosts. Very good communication, he took care of us even before our arrival. On the day of arrival, Stefan explained everything to us and gave very good tips for the way to the train station, restaurants and also for our daughter's internship. Stefan is very nice and attentive. I particularly liked that he also inquired during the stay whether there were any problems or questions. The place is very clean, the room very large and nicely equipped. The bathroom (two rooms share a bathroom) was also nice and clean. There were no problems with the use of the bathroom, everyone came to the bathroom when they wanted. The kitchen is very nice, well equipped and it has everything you need. In the refrigerator, everyone has their "compartment" and a freezer is also available. The location is perfect, the tram in front of the accommodation. Ideal for my daughter. If Nuremberg, then always happy to come back to Stefan's. Super value for money.

Stayed at Stefans place for 5 nights while working at the Nuremberg Messe. I was late to arrive due to travel issues, but it was of no issue to Stefan and was very accommodating. The place itself is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Perfectly equipped for a stay away. Tram links literally outside the door (can be a bit noisy at night if you’re a light sleeper, although ear plugs are provided) and just a 20 minute walk into the beautiful centre. I’d 100% recommend staying at Stefans place, it’s incredible value for money!
