People often choose hotels because of the services they offer, like room service, access to a gym, or an appointment at the spa. Starting today, guests can get services right at your Airbnb.

  • Spa treatments: Facials, microdermabrasion, body scrubs, and other treatments, provided by professional estheticians.
  • Personal training: Yoga, strength training, HIIT, and more, with personal trainers, including renowned fitness professionals and world-champion athletes.
  • Hair: Professional haircuts, blowouts, and more from experienced stylists.
  • Makeup: Makeup for every day or special occasions from professional makeup artists.

  • Prepared meals: Ready-to-eat meals prepared by professional chefs.
  • Catering: Full-service catering with custom menus, decor, and equipment, plus setup and cleanup.

Airbnb Services are vetted for quality, taking into account criteria like knowledge, education, reputation, and more. Service hosts have years of experience and have completed Airbnb’s identity verification process. Many are renowned in their field—including chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants, award-winning photographers, and elite trainers.

Guests can easily browse services where they’re available—and book instantly on Airbnb. Services can take place in a home, the service host’s business, or a public space.

Allowing services in your home

Services are automatically allowed in your home. This is one way to show guests you’re invested in making their stay even more special.

You can decide not to allow services in your home. Contact Airbnb Support to specify any services you don’t allow and they’ll update your house rules.

Guests review services separately from their stay with you. They’re prompted to review a service as soon as it ends. Guests are asked to provide an overall rating, detailed ratings, a public review, and a private note for the service. Their review does not affect the rating or ranking of your home.

Understanding insurance for service hosts

All service hosts are required to maintain liability insurance appropriate for their business while providing a service. They’re also covered by Airbnb’s Experiences & Services liability insurance, which is part of AirCover for Hosts. This is similar to how you’re covered by host liability insurance through AirCover for Hosts.

When a service takes place in your home, Experiences & Services liability insurance applies if the service host is responsible for damaging your home or belongings.

Recommending services

Sharing recommendations can make it easier for your guests to find great services. Here’s how to recommend services.

  • See what’s offered nearby: Browse Airbnb for services available in the area. Connect with service hosts to learn more or book offerings to try yourself.
  • Create a quick reply: Send a pre-written message automatically when guests book your home, or as a response if they ask for recommendations.

Referring a service host

Know someone who could host a great service? Share your referral link, and you could earn $100 USD (or the local equivalent) when they start hosting.*

Hosts you refer have 180 days to complete their first booking. You can track whether they’ve published a listing or have an upcoming reservation on your referrals page.

We’ll send your reward directly to your account about 14 days after an eligible host you’ve referred completes a qualifying booking.

Airbnb Services Q&A

*Referral rewards are available only in eligible locations and subject to the Host Referral Offer and Program Terms. The 180-day period begins when a host creates a new listing using your referral link. Listings started using your referral link before March 17, 2025, are subject to the terms in place when those referrals were made.

Services are not available in all geos, including Brazil and Puerto Rico.
