Lea is a lovely host - very welcoming, warm, friendly, accomodating, easygoing and flexible. I had no issues whatsoever with her or my stay in her house. The house and her property by the lake is just gorgeus, the view is so calming and beautiful to look at. She takes great care of her garden too. I found the house having a very peaceful energy to it, I felt very relaxed there. The only slight downside for me personally was the double bed itself in the bedroom I stayed in. The mattress felt as it had seen it's better days, didn't feel quite firm enough for me, but then again this might not be an issue to other guests at all. I personally happen to have certain back issues and a good bed is something that's very important to me (I had forgotten to ask about the bed prior to my trip). I spoke to Lea about it after my first night and she was just wonderful with the whole thing as with everything else - didn't get triggered or provoked at all. She offered one of the other rooms to me as the single beds are firmer and that I could pretty much choose freely what ever works for me best as I was the only guest in the house during my stay. I found her to be very easygoing and just lovely in every way. I had some very nice conversations with Lea as well and we shared some great laughs too. She was also very kind to me, for example when it rained hard upon my arrival and my only shoes had gone soaking wet, she offered to dry them in the sauna for the next day. Also on another day when it kept raining, she offered me her own rain coat and rain boots so that I wouldn't get wet as I was taking part in the music festival as a singer and getting sick would have been very unfortunate. She also allowed me to practise freely in the house. Brewing a cup of coffee in the morning and the use of basic condiments such as salt and pepper while cooking in the kitchen was also included in the price. I am very pleased with my stay at Lea's beautiful home. She was a superb, fun host and seemed like a wonderful humanbeing overall. I felt great in her house and have no complaints about her whatsoever.

Sunset lakefront old-growth forest holiday home

The lakehouse of Anne and her husband are just wonderful. The place is stunning and quiet. Inside you got everything you got, from fridge with freezer, to a finnish sauna. The road is a little bit bumpy if you drive the longer way, but after all i would recommend everyone to go there to have a little detox from everything :) We also were allowed to use their little boat, to drive on the lake. We highly recommend it!

Such a lovely house and amazing surroundings. We had plenty of snow and a frozen lake: a perfect winter wonderland for christmas. We saw the northern lights on new years eve. The house has everything you need. We didn’t meet the owner, but she was fast to respond to any questions. Highly recommend for quiet nature time with the family!

Upea majoitus rauhallisessa sijainnissa! Asiakas oli todella huomioitu monessa pienessäkin yksityiskohdassa. Sängyt ja vuodevaatteet olivat erinomaiset ja keittiö oli täysvarusteltu. Mitään ei puuttunut, päinvastoin nautimme viikonlopustamme niin porealtaassa, rantasaunassa kuin sähkösaunassa. Suosittelen lämpimästi!

Robert’s apartment is the best place to stay in Jyvaskyla. Apartment was perfect for our stay. Not far from town centre with parking if travelling with a car. Apartment very clean with everything you need. Host Robert could not have been more helpful. Will book again with Robert if apartment is available.

Location location location! Beautiful remote home, surrounded by trees and a huge lake! We came in Feb when it was covered in snow made the scenery even more beautiful! Vey picturesque! There are two local ( 16 km away ) restaurants/take aways and a supermarket for essentials. The house itself is very warm with heated flooring. The hot tub costs extra £150 and it doesn’t have bubbles. It’s just warm water that you need to burn wood with, to warm it up. Is costs extra £15 per person in cash to have Bed linen Had a great time!

Aivan mahtava paikka! Vieläkin upeampi mitä kuvat asunnosta antoivat ymmärtää. Täysin luksusta fasiliteetteineen sekä maisemineen. Ilma oli liian lämmin, meille, saunan ja savusaunan kokeilemiseen, muttemme epäile hetkeäkään niiden loistavuutta. Kommunikointi omistajien välillä oli nopeaa sekä informatiivistä. Olemme olleet airbnb -asunnoissa viidessä eri maassa noin yhdeksänä kertana ja tämä paikka menee heittämällä kärkeen. Ulkomaalaisille tiedoksi; jos haluatte täydellisen Suomikokemuksen, niin älä etsi enempää. Tämä on täydellinen.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The apartment was well-maintained and exactly as described in the listing. It had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The host was kind and accommodating, always ready to answer questions and provide assistance when needed. Host's commitment to ensure a positive guest experience really stood out. Wir hatten ganz wundervolle 15 Tage in dieser liebevoll eingerichteten und direkt am Wasser liegenden Unterkunft. Jeden Morgen im See baden, absolute Ruhe und ein Angelkahn, der uns die ganze Zeit kostenlos zur Verfügung stand und bereits im Wasser auf uns wartete. Manu und seine Frau haben uns mit einem leckeren selbstgeräucherten Fisch und unwiderstehlicher Fischsuppe überrascht. Herzlichen Dank für diese außergewöhnlichen Tage. Wir werden wiederkommen! Unser eigenes Ruderboot konnten wir gut zu Wasser lassen und die Zeit über am Steg festmachen. Das Haus ist hell und gemütlich eingerichtet, viele Fenster und man sieht von Ost nach West aufs Wasser. Wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge! Holz stand immer zur Verfügung, die Sauna ist sooo gemütlich und individuell gestaltet. Es gibt viele Preiselbeeren und die Küche bietet alles, was zur Verarbeitung nötig ist. Geduscht wird in der Sauna, es gibt eine wirklich gute Außentoilette und ein Trenn-WC für die Nacht im Haus.

Paradise on Earth! Our stay at this beautiful lakefront property in Kangasniemi was nothing short of perfect. The location is incredibly peaceful and private, offering a true escape into nature. We loved having not one, but two saunas to enjoy—the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding area. The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up to serene lake views and being able to take a quick dip after heating up in the outside sauna was a highlight of our trip. One thing to note: linens and towels aren’t included, so be sure to negotiate those with the host beforehand if you need them. If you’re looking for a place to relax and recharge in total tranquility, this is the spot. We can’t recommend it enough!
