Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Rarotonga

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place. We saw some humpback whales every day while sitting at the gardentable. The house is at a beach, although it is stony and rough we were snorkeling almost every day and playing with the bodyboard. The kids loved the little crabs.

Great stay for our family with little kids. The house was just as described in the listing. The beach out front was quiet and shallow for the kids to swim, kayak and snorkel. The pool was a very nice bonus, being fully fenced meant we could relax without having to worry about the kids. The air-con's all worked well and the kitchen was very well stocked. A great stay, with good communication from Mark.

We really loved our time at Avocado Retreat, perfect for older families with teenage children. We also loved the digital detox not having a TV allowed us and the choice of family board games or eclectic choice of reading material was a delight. It was also good to be surrounded by wildlife and family animals: chickens, cat, dog, goats (one of which birthed on our visit!). Marie also shared a map of the island and helpful suggestions of things to do on the island. The house itself was beautiful with all the kitchen facilities you could wish for, and Marie had kindly started us off with more basics than you would usually find in the fridge/pantry. We hired a car, which we would recommend. You should also remember it is a tropical island, so there will be mosquitos to deal with. But otherwise, we loved our stay and would highly recommend it to others wishing for something a bit different to the standard island resort options.

Firstly I'd like to thank Lady Diane for her exceptional response , also for allowing extra people stay for one night while they accomodation was ready under short notice (literally a days notice) Grateful and thankful for that Miss Diane Beautiful place with ample room , very relaxing , quiet space my family and I had Super easy to find with clear directions Fully equipped kitchen , big bathroom massive rooms Very clean very tidy We thoroughly enjoyed our stay We loved it and will definitely book again

Anchor sands is a hidden gem of the cook islands, we are so glad we choose this Airbnb instead of a resort. We have 2 teenagers 14 & 16 and this place was perfect for us, kids could sleep in their own rooms with out being woken up by other guests. We were able to connect to the TV and stream Netflix and Prime. But best of all was the location, the best snorkelling and fish - straight in front of the house. We would see the tour boats anchor out the front each (far out, not close to the shore), so that tells you its a good spot for snorkelling. But best of all was the view from the deck, we sat their for hours each morning having coffee, relaxing and reading books. Its close to shops, not to far from town (25mins), Go Local turtle tours is just down the Road, Same with Wigmores (who do the best ice creams), and some great restaurants too, like Charlies, Vaima on the Beach, Little Polynesia. We feel staying here made our holiday, it is an exceptional property and location. Thank you!!!

Joseph and Odette were warm and hospitable. Their place was clean and they were reachable at any point if we needed anything. Gracious hosts, highly recommend.

What a briliant start to a long awaited Cook Island adventure (after a hectic departure - almost didnt make it thanks to airline mess up) Simon picked us up from the airport and then filled us in on the drive to the accommodation, stopping and pointing out places to eat, beach acccess points and heaps more. We d3cided to rent a car for one day as we were only on Raro for 3 and that was a great idea being able to take back roads, stop and start at whim and just feel we got a better sense of the place. We're off to Aitutaki now but will definitely be returning to Rarotonga in the future. Simon and Denise were great hosts...there if you needed with lots of help and hints but certainly left us alone if we were happy. Thanks for a brilliant first impression...they always stick. My Partner & I had an amazing stay set into the forest of Muri. A tropical island retreat like no other. The amenities were amazing and TV 📺/ Movie choices were Devine 💗. Can not recommend this place and the host more highly! Airport transport was a greatly appreciated and cheap compared too local taxis & transfer services 🙏🏾 Will be returning for a longer stay 😊

Our accomodation was was amazing! Phillip was a great communicator and his wife was lovely. The house was in a great location, private, large and beautiful. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature, fruit and flowers. the perfect place to relax and unwind, especially by the pool. Thank you so much for our stay, we loved it!

Loved our stay at Muri Retreat. Simon was super helpful with organising transport and was happy to help with any questions.

A neat, spacious studio in the heart of gorgeous surroundings, which was exactly what we were after for our stay. The warm, friendly welcome board was a cute touch. Studio was tidy on our arrival, stocked with all our necessities for our stay - the 2 fans were life-savers and made it bearable in the heat. Thanks Tim for providing a neat little place in gorgeous Rarotonga.

Joe and Odette have a charming place set in beautiful gardens with goats and friendly cats and of course hens and chickens and roosters entertaining us. The cottage is very comfortable in a lovely location with the bonus of a large deck to sit on and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Joe and Odette are the most charming, friendly, thoughtful and accommodating hosts. I would definitely stay again. It is like staying with family.

This place had everything we needed! Bakery and petrol station down the road with town less than 5mins away! Had dinner next door and the music was a vibe! Definitely recommend

Great place We had 7 adults and there was plenty of room Great access to Muri and all the cafe, restaurants and night markets Easy stroll to the beach over the small bridge and the Avocado tree that dropped a few each night for us to collect in the morning was a great bonus Great kitchen facilities and the BBQ was great Will definitely look to stay there on our next visit

Jaewynn was very welcoming and had put extra touches like milk in the fridge and some flowers. She was very helpful and when we had a hot water issue she dealt with it straight away. The house is very private, with its own parking space and lovey little garden. It is in a great spot close to the main town and the airport and lots of places to eat. We had a lovely week staying there.

Had an awesome stay, Marks place was beautiful close to town and the airport 10/10 will be back

We enjoyed our stay in Rarotonga at Addrienne's Air bnb. Firstly was greeted by Tama at the airport and we followed him back to the house. So was a smooth checkin. It was very peaceful, beautiful scenery over looking the airport and ocean. Rooms were very spacious, big kitchen, out door area was great and the pool.was a bonus with the hot and humid weather. Bambam and Evie were such beautiful dogs and were very placid and enjoyed the company. They would always greet you in the morning or when you return home. Overall we all had a fantastic stay and definetly would recommend it.

Nick was such an awesome host. He was friendly & called out to meet him. He was very welcoming & open. He had a house party when we stayed & let us know a few days beforehand, he even invited us & brought us some food down. His place was amazing & clean. So helpful & close to everything.
