We were here for our father/FIL memorial service. It was a busy, hectic, emotional time. And Anne Marie’s carriage house was a calming oasis in a stunning setting. Despite some rain, we walked along the shore every day. The space is clean, bright, beautiful with everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen. Thank you Anne Marie!

It was a great place! Beautiful stay. We had 8 people total and it was big enough for us to not feel cramped. Would return in the future.

I frequently stay at Airbnb’s and travel a lot. I would say this is the best host I’ve ever had. Super friendly, super nice, super knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions. The home was unique and very nice. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area.

This home was cozy and very convenient to walk to lots of restaurants and shops. The neighbourhood is beautiful and felt very safe. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We had such a great stay here for our girls weekend getaway! The location was perfect—just a short drive to town for restaurants, shops, and activities, but still tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was the ideal spot to relax, catch up, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There is some construction happening on an addition to the property, but we weren’t bothered by it at all—no noise or disruptions during our stay. Would definitely recommend this spot and would love to come back again!

We had an amazing girls weekend away. The house was great for a group of 5 with plenty of space to lounge around. It was the perfect location to travel to all of the surrounding towns in the county. Looking forward to staying again.

We booked Donna and Bobby’s place for our friend’s bachelorette weekend and WOW! We were blown away! It was a beautiful layout and had enough room for 10 women and all of our stuff. Gorgeous house with a beautiful layout. Every room in the house had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and we felt right at home. Looking forward to coming back for another girls weekend! Our hosts were incredibly responsive and gave us great recommendations - they were also very accommodating when we wanted to check in a little bit early to set up in advance of the bride-to-be’s entrance. Thanks for everything, Donna & Bobby!!!

Amanda‘s space not only looked like the photos, but was surprisingly larger than expected! What stood out was the beautiful king size bed with a very comfortable mattress and pillows, and the nice showerhead with ample hot water and great water pressure. We absolutely loved our stay :)

We loved staying here. Every detail helped us have an amazing trip. The quiet neighbour hood, the responsive hosts, the bar cart stocked with bitters and a recipe book. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a peaceful getaway to consider this place :)

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

We had a great stay! The place was clean, neat, and very well-maintained. Check-in was easy and the host was kind and helpful throughout our stay. We also used the BBQ grill, which was a great bonus. The location was convenient for getting around and exploring the area. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Judi and Dave’s place! The house was exceptional—spotlessly clean, well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and offered an amazing view of the river. Judi and Dave were fantastic hosts and kindly accommodated a late checkout since our bus was scheduled for the evening. Their hospitality truly made our stay special. Highly recommend!

We came to Peterborough to visit our kids, who are both studying at Trent. The apartment was perfect for us. Plenty of room for two people. The desk was perfect for me to work while my husband watched TV. Bathroom was small but functional. Maya had lots of little extras too - coffee pods for the Nespresso coffee maker, tea bags, spices and cooking supplies, toothpaste, chocolates. We would definitely stay again if/when we come back.

Elizabeth was a great host. Check in was a breeze and the place was great. There was everything we needed and more. Would be a lovely place to stay again for a longer trip.

Anuhea's place is an absolute gem in Peterborough! We spent a wonderful weekend in this beautifully designed house, nestled in a quiet street yet conveniently close to everything. The home is incredibly well-equipped and tastefully decorated, making it feel both welcoming and stylish. The gorgeous garden is perfect for relaxing, and we loved the friendly company of Anuhea's two sweet cats. Anuhea herself is super nice and helpful, making sure everything was just right for our stay. If we’re ever back in Peterborough, we’ll definitely book her place again!!!

This airbnb became such an iconic staple in our lives, the second time we stayed here, I proposed to my girlfriend. The place is so beautiful, it made us fall in love with the entire downtown of Port Hope. I’m so glad we found this place. It’s so beautiful and clean, it was a great place to be stuck in while it rained.

When we arrived very easy, the place was ready earlier, which we enjoyed. Even better than in the photos.

Stayed here with 3 friends during a reunion weekend, and we couldn’t get over how nice the spot was! In a great spot downtown Port Hope, and it helped make the weekend very special. Would highly recommend!

Had a great stay! The hot tub was a fantastic addition, and the place was cozy and comfortable. The location is excellent — close to the lake and downtown, making it super convenient. Nicole was kind enough to let us check out a bit later, which was much appreciated. However, we could hear people walking around above us, which was a bit disruptive. Overall, a nice spot with potential for some improvements.

The place was perfect for the 3 of us as abase for birding at Presqu'ile. It was simple, uncluttered and clean with large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Jason was friendly and helpful. He checked in with us several times to make sure we got in, and even sent someone over with a key for the locker so we could store our bicycles. He provided good suggestions on activities and restaurants too. We had a great stay. Outstanding service. Thanks Jason!

Jay was an amazing host! We was Very accommodating to our earlier arrival. When we got there we had WiFi issues and he said someone over immediately to fix it. The home is SUPER clean and well stocked with everything you need. Jay's communication is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this Airbnb. We will be back soon. I went to PEC with a girlfriend. The unit was the perfect size and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed linen was really nice :) It was a 5 minute walk to Main St which was perfect. We walked to dinner and entertainment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Picton !
