Vacation rentals with lake access in Queenstown-Lakes District

Juliet's homestay is just beautiful!The balcony is the lake view and mountain view, the matching facilities are complete, there is everything you think of here, and there is a semi-automatic coffee machine, we stayed for three days very enjoyed and saw the rainbow🌈!

We absolutely adored staying at Te Awa Lodge on our recent trip to Wanaka. It was a gorgeous riverside home with an amazing hot tub and sauna, which we loved using after our hikes. Graeme and Carolyn were such warm, welcoming hosts and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The property is easily accessible to Wanaka (10-15 min) and Mount Aspiring (1 hour) . Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

It’s truly unforgettable stay — peaceful, scenic, and welcoming We had such a wonderful time at this Airbnb! The location is absolutely beautiful — surrounded by nature with panoramic views that made every moment feel special. Waking up to the sunrise each morning was a highlight; it felt like a dream to see the golden light spilling over the landscape from the comfort of our cosy space. The interior was warm, clean, and thoughtfully designed, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Every little detail was taken care of, and it really felt like a home away from home. Our host was fantastic — super responsive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. We truly didn’t want to leave, and we’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family. Can’t wait to return someday!

We had a lovely stay is a great home with stunning views. We would like to have stayed longer. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days stay.

Picture perfect view of the lake and mountains. Quiet restful setting. Well equipped kitchen and good functional appliances. Easy walk to a tramping tracks. Nice shower and fabulous tank water, no chlorine or fluoride The only reason we wouldn't come back is the low ceiling height for my 6ft 2" husband who had to lower himself every time he used the stairs. Both bedrooms are upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs. The house rattled in the strong winds so ear plugs are a good idea if staying in the second bedroom. I highly recommend this place, but do your shopping enroute as the local supplies are limited.

We enjoyed our staying at this lovely, cozy and well prepared place. The house is beautiful and the kitchen is organised perfect and easy to use. The location to the town centre is great only 5 mins taking to pretty all of restaurants and marts. Definitely recommend this place.

Very nice lake view and rooms. Spacious for family of 7 people and relax for the whole day. Decoration & furniture are a bit old but it wont affect much on the leisure of stay. Reaction to request is fast on replacement of the toaster and fan.

The place is close to Queenstown airport, restaurants and easily accessible. It's just few steps away from the famous Boatshed restaurant of the Queenstown. It's a good place to stay with family The host is responsive and cooperative. During the stay , had some issues with the sink The host fixed it immediately in the middle of Easter holiday. Will stay again.

A truly wonderful apartment in a fantastic location, 3 mins walk to the town centre. Karen was an excellent host and was very responsive throughout, providing lots of local recommendations.

It was great to stay at a place that was so easily accessible to the center of Queenstown, with the shopping and restaurants so close. The beautiful view of the lake right across the street was an added bonus.

We had a lovely stay at Nav’s Airbnb in Queenstown! She was a great host very helpful and kind. The place was clean, cozy, and just a short 3-minute walk to the town centre, which made everything super convenient. Nav even arranged a car park for us, which was a huge help. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Had a great weekend in Queenstown staying at Charlie and Rob’s. It’s a great set up, my friends and I loved it. I’d also strongly consider bringing my wife and kids back here, as the apartment would be perfect for families also.

We loved our time here. Each night it felt like we were coming back home. It was so easy to relax after a day exploring. We chose this location because it fit well into our itinerary and we are so glad that we did.

Excellent cottage! Beautiful courtyard, nice view and quite. There is a red folder provide all information including home appliances manual. Welcome cookie and warmfirplace have been set up before arrived. Highly recommend for all Airbnb user!

Location was the stand out! 10-15 mins walk for central Queenstown. Cosy, plenty of parking and all amenities were great. Would stay here again when we’re back in Queenstown!

We had another fantastic stay with Ray and Deb in Cromwell, our second time staying with them while in town for an agility show. Their house is in a perfect spot, just a 10-minute walk to the Stoaker Room for dinner, and close to many walkways leading to the lake. The accommodation is always clean and comfortable, with beds that guarantee a great night's sleep and everything we need to feel at home. Deb is absolutely lovely and makes us feel so welcome every time. It's the little things that make such a difference, and their place has truly become our favourite spot to stay in Cromwell. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely place with an incredible view! So spacious and everything was clean and as described. Felt like home away from home. Very close to nearby cycling track. Could easily cycle into town in 5 minutes.
