Can’t say enough good things about this place. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is amazing, the place itself is clean, cute, spacious and fun. Would absolutely stay here again.

What a large house! 3 terraces and 3 large bedrooms together with a fully equipped kitchen and nice living space. Lovely to stay and easy communication. We will come back!

The house was the perfect location for my friend's bachelor party! The house itself was beautiful, great view of the ocean and golf course from the roof, and the pool and hot tub complete the experience. One of the beds did not have sheets or pillow cases on arrival, but otherwise it was a very pleasant experience!

We were 12 people who came together (ranging from 3- 89 years old), from across the globe and we all had a wonderful stay. It was perfect. The areas (inside and out) were large enough for us to gather together as a group, and the house was spacious enough that people could retreat to their room or area should they want to break away for some alone time. We cooked big dinners, spent hours in the pool, and played games at night. The grounds were private, filled with beautiful bougainvillea, geraniums, and hibiscus plants. There is plenty of sun and shade (outside) and ACs in the bedrooms. I would say the pictures don't do the home justice. The rooms are larger in person. The hosts were readily available to help with finding things in the home or with recommendations for things to do in the area.

More than expected. A lovely home away from home feel regarding the accommodation. Derek was an amazing host upon welcome and checkout with his wife. Everything you needed for your stay was present. The only thing I would have changed is booking for longer next time.

The villa is absolutely stunning, we were a party of 7 adults and 2 children, so much room for us all with every couple able to have a separate bathroom which is always a plus. The villa was very clean and so well equipped with everything you could need. Sara meet us at check in and check out. She was so helpful, she gave us a guided tour of the property and answered any questions we had during the week (which was alot ha) The villa is very quiet and in a lovely residential area. It was a bit far for us to walk to the marina with the kids as it was during a heatwave with temperatures reaching 36 degrees but the Bolt taxi app was great, very cheap and quick service. A taxi to the marina was only around 3 euros. The kids loved the pool area and it was lovely and shaded from around 5pm which was ideal for us. also plenty of seating inside and out. over all we had an amazing time in the villa and would definelty return and recommend to everyone. We had a brilliant time at Bruno's place. we made use of the pool, BBQ and jacuzzi. Everything was included and we wanted for nothing. We hope to stay again soon!

Gorgeous beach just a little walk away. Town is very nice w beach bars etc. house has awesome views. Views when in pool are not good due to wall. Suggest to maybe put up acrylic wall? Host was super responsive. We loved our stay at this very large house!

Great villa very close to shops and beach. Host had very good communication. Jets in hot tub didn’t work during our stay and when the gardeners come they were very loud but overall a great stay and would go again! Building a villa next door but was not in anyway noisy and host told us before we confirmed the booking.

Amazing villa and perfect location to base yourself, easy walking distance to restaurants and shops

We had a lovely family holiday at Villa Assumadas. The pool was lovely and clean and outdoor space was perfect for our party size. We had ages ranging from 70 years old to 8 months and all inbetween and it accommodated everyone. Helder was a fantastic host and very attentive. The location is remote but a great shopping centre 6 minute drive away. Taxis were always available and very cheap. Thank you Helder. We will be back!

Had a beautiful 5 nights in Macha's property. Spotlessly clean, wonderful gardens and pool. Had a small issue with electricity that Macha sorted out immediately. Outdoor kitchen only which was a great novelty. Only issue being that there was no hot water tap in the sink so had to boil water on BBQ. Was not a major issue in the end, just took a bit of getting used to. Do not let this put anyone off as rest of property is just wonderful. Bedrooms amazing. Only 20 mins from Faro airport and 15 / 20 mins drive from a lot of beautiful towns, restaurants and beaches. Own transport needed. Macha is a wonderful host, warm, friendly and extremely helpful.

If you are looking for a beautiful location to unplug and relax, look no further than Bernardo & Laura’s place. The photos don’t do justice to the breathtaking views. Their place is in a very peaceful and quiet spot in the mountains; while still being only about 35 minutes from the amazing beaches of the Algarve. We were a group of 6 people, including 2 young kids, and we always felt very comfortable in the spacious accommodations. Laura was super responsive and helpful in all of our communications and was able to accommodate an early check-in, which we appreciated after a long flight. We would definitely recommend this home.

We had a lovely stay in August 2024. The villa is stylishly decorated and incredibly roomy, even bigger than we expected, with wonderful views over a hill to the sea from the living area and top bedrooms/hot tub. Although it is in an area of other villas, it felt private and very quiet and peaceful. Beds were very comfy and bedrooms had aircon which was unobtrusive but effective. We opted to heat the pool, which wasn't strictly necessary but we were glad we did as it made it very comfortable. The area is beautiful and much less busy than the Algarve further east. There is a very nice beach and restaurant 'As Cabanas' within walking distance (about 10/15 minutes) for lunch or drinks. Straight across the road is a short track to the coastal path where you can walk to Salema and Burgau (Burgau under and hour), both small and pretty with beaches and nice places to eat. We would definitely return as we would like to explore this area more.

We had an amazing time at this lovely villa. The kids and adults loved all the amenities from the lovely pool which we had heated, to the gym and games room. The beds were really comfortable and the villa felt like a real home from home. We had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Aldi was a 10 minute walk away and there was a lovely bar/restaurant at the end of the road just a few metres away. Taxi’s were really cheap and it was easy to book a large one for our party of 6 adults and 2 children. We used the taxi’s to get to the beach and Albufeira old town. Jose was a really good and very responsive host. He organised our airport transfers which were fantastic and very prompt. We would love to come back to this villa again!

We stayed for eight weeks over winter. The photos had accurately depicted the bungalow but hadn't expressed it's homely feel once inside. This was a home not a ' holiday let'. The owner had even put up a Christmas tree because we arrived on Dec 22nd. It was comfortable and well insulated for winter evenings. For warmer nights though the garden will be beautiful. There is plenty of outside seating and lovely garden lightening. The kitchen was well equipped and it would be possible to cook any style of cooking. There was always hot water from roof panels and the shower was modern and efficient. Perhaps, as with any home appliances, one or two may need replacing later this year but everything required was there. This property is in the countryside. The neighbouring properties have guard dogs which unfortunately do bark at the wild animals. We live in the countryside but this noise took us a while to get used to. A car is essential but the property is surrounded by beautiful country walks.

The price is very good. It's very close to where we want to go, but there are no shops and restaurants around. The environment is very good. There are a lot of people.

Small but perfectly formed. Stayed with our two kids and we loved the high beds.
