Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Province of Siena

Het huis lag in het historisch centrum van een gezellig stadje. In de buurt was altijd wel een parkeerplaats. Het huis heeft drie verdiepingen en een geweldig dakterras. Keuken, woonkamer slaapkamer en badkamer. Koffieapparaat molto gusto. Zelfs een wasmachine. Onze fietsen mochten in de wijnkelder. Simona was een geweldige gastvrouw. Ze gaf allerlei tips om naartoe te gaan. Ook goeie adviezen over restaurants. Prachtig gebied in de Val d'Orcia. De fluweelachtige glooiende heuvels met de metershoge cypressen. Pienza en Montepulciano in de buurt.Wandelen op de berg de Monte Amiata. Baden in warm water in Bagno di Filippo. Een plek om terug te komen.

We had a wonderful family vacation here for a week. The property itself was beautiful and although it was a bit cool for us to use the pool very much, it was still great to relax there and enjoy the views. The home and kitchen were well stocked and we were able to make a couple of homemade dinners there (there is a nearby grocery store that had everything we needed). The location was excellent with easy access to nearby towns like Panzano and Radda in Chianti and only 30 minutes or so to Florence. The hosts provided lots of great recommendations for dining, activities, and travel/parking tips that we were able to take advantage of. Overall, an excellent experience and would highly recommend!

Riccardo, contattato via messaggi, è stato sempre puntuale nelle risposte e super esaustivo nelle indicazioni riguardanti l'appartamento, vari consigli su dove parcheggiare e su come arrivare alla struttura. Cassetta di sicurezza per la chiave quindi check in molto rapido. Appartamento pulito e in ottima posizione per visitare montepulciano a piedi. 4 bottiglie d'acqua a disposizione e tutto il necessario per fare colazione. Lo consiglio

Ho trascorso quattro giorni nella casa di Gabriele, ospite sempre pronto e gentile. La zona è molto bella, circondatata da prati e vigneti. L'interno della casa è molto accogliente. Tutto. corrisponde a quanto descritto. Noi abbiamo apprezzato il fatto che la casa sia un po' defilata rispetto ai canonici luoghi della Val d'Orcia (circa 40 minuti da San Quirico), ma questo garantisce tranquillità e privacy: alla sera si gode di un paesaggo e di un'atmosfera unici, stando nel giardino privato. Se avete un cane sarà felicissimo. Unico neo...materassi per noi troppo rigidi. Grazie di tutto, Gabriele!

Nous avons passé 5 nuits chez Paolo (appartement pour 4 personnes). Un havre de paix : une immense piscine parfaitement entretenue, une vaste pelouse et de multiples endroits pour se reposer, lire (à l'ombre ou au soleil), etc. Une table de ping - pong à l'écart. Une literie très confortable. Un équipement très complet. Un endroit majestueux, à l'écart du voisinage et pourtant très près de Monte San Savino (avec ce qu'il faut de magasins, de restaurants, etc) et pas loin de l'autoroute (ce qui permet une grande mobilité dans la région). Bref, un excellent séjour.

Nada and her daughter Viola have created a stunning home which provided a beautiful setting to recharge and rest for the next leg of our trip. Both Nada and Viola were communicative, friendly, and available to address any issues (not that there were many). Viola created a fun cooking class and was even able to cater it to my sister’s gluten free diet. Do not hesitate to book your stay here, and definitely do the cooking class. Thank you, Nada and Viola!

We loved this Tuscan retreat. It was exactly as described. Leonardo was particularly helpful with finding us local places to eat. He was very responsive. The place was as described, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our time there. The views were lovely. It is definitely a private retreat within an hour and fifteen minutes of the primary sites in Tuscany. Loved it!

Marco ist nicht nur äußerst sympathisch sondern hat auch ein Händchen für Design. Seine Wohnung ist äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man sieht anhand der Ausstattung, dass Marco das lebt, was er tut. Es ist alles vorhanden, die kleinen Nettigkeiten machen den Aufenthalt noch schöner. Das Bett war sehr bequem und die Bettwäsche so angenehm. Das Haus beweist Wohlfühlcharakter. Wir wollten garnicht mehr gehen und planen deshalb schon unseren nächsten Aufenthalt. Das Dörfchen ist einfach traumhaft und für Ruhesuchende und Kulinariker genau das richtige. Da das Haus einen kleinen Vorgarten hat, der abzuschließen ist, ist das Haus für Reisen mit dem Hund von Vorteil. Alles in allem zu empfehlen.

Giancarlo’s place in Tuscany is a gem with incredible views a comfortable home and great access to the surroundings which are special and unique! Would recommend renting a car to visit the area.

Great location for exploring the beautiful countryside of southern Tuscany. Accommodation was great and the pool was lovely. We visited Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza and San Quirico d’Orcia and the warm waters at Terme San Filippo We would definitely recommend the Coop in Torrenieri just 10 mins in the car, a bit tricky to find but has all that you need.

c'est un petit paradis. Martin et Hélèna sont des personnes formidables avec beaucoup de petites attentions. allez y les yeux fermés. vous y trouverez du bon vin, un site incroyable à portée de villages magnifiques.

We loved staying at Anna’s apartment and she went over and above on helping us. She picked us up at the bus station and drove us up to her place, then she explained where things were as we drove through the village. When we got to the apartment she explained how things worked and where things were in the apartment. There was a little language barrier as she doesn’t know a lot of English and we don’t know a lot of Italian but we were able to figure things out with her and she was very gracious and patient with us. The apartment is right in the heart of the village with plenty of stores, restaurants and wine tasting rooms near by. On the day that we were scheduled to leave we had a problem getting a taxi to get us back to the train station, even though we booked it the day before and we messaged Anna and she got right on it and got it done for us. She is a God send. We will definitely stay here again if we ever get the opportunity to come back to Montepulciano.

Amanda's apartment provided a warm, comfortable, and well-appointed home for a month in Castiglion Fiorentino. The laundry room, large kitchen, and private outdoor space were the perfect amenities for an extended stay for a couple. Part way through our trip, we had friends rent the attached apartment and we opened the adjoining doors so we could play cards in front of the fire in the evenings. Amanda arranged occasional cleanings during our stay, as well as organizing cars to/from the train station on our arrival and departure. This is a beautiful, safe, and walkable hill town with fantastic restaurants, museums, churches, and shops that were open even in the off season. The people, town, and food were warm and wonderful. We began Italian language lessons while there and became regulars at the Cafè Le Logge with its incredible view. We took regular daytrips by train to Arezzo or Florence, and by bus or car to Cortona and Chiusi. We could have stayed a month longer! Amanda was amazing!

Clara was responsive and helpful. She was there to meet us and help us with parking and walked us through the entire house. She was wonderful. The space was perfect with a wonderful patio. Totally would recommend.

We enjoyed staying in this luxurious apartment. Even though we stayed only one night it was spoiling and we had a beautiful views!

Our wedding at Villa Cini was truly magical. The venue’s blend of natural beauty and elegance provided the perfect backdrop for our stay during the week and our special day. The gardens and stunning views created a fairy tale atmosphere and allowed to us have both an Indian wedding and an Italian Civil one. The arches ballroom, offered a romantic and inviting ambiance. We are incredibly grateful to have a chosen a place which has passed down for generations and has such a heartfelt attention to detail. Very responsive, helpful and friendly hosts. We hope to come back sometime. Very private and peaceful, a nice change from touristy, busy parts of Tuscany at the end of each day.

Our stay at Villa Chiara was nothing short of delightful. Nestled in the hills it offered a picturesque view of the Tuscan countryside. The villa itself was spacious and well maintained. It felt like home away from home. The pool and back patio are surrounded by lovely flowers, herbs and olive trees. Offering a spectacular view of the evening sunsets. The location was perfect to take short day trips to Siena, Florence and Montepulciano. Highly recommend for a serene, peaceful and relaxing getaway.

We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting to celebrate my partner’s 40th birthday. Our week was perfectly balanced between visiting nearby Montalcino wineries & surrounding villages, a day trip to Siena, and lazing about the pool & villa. Monica was kind, generous & helpful from the time of booking. She accommodated all requests and even left a gift for my partner to celebrate his birthday! Will be back! Our stay at Terra Antica was a dream. The location is perfect and the property and villa are exceptional. We were close enough to town to get to restaurants and shopping and then come back for some quiet relaxing time. There are numerous wineries to visit in the area. Day trips to other local towns are easy to do as well. The private jacuzzi was an extra bonus & we used it several times during our stay. We will be back again!

A truly stunning place with incredibly welcoming hosts. The villa exceeded our expectations in every way. The interior is filled with beautiful historic furniture, details, paintings, and books. The cozy fireplace in the living room added a special charm. We loved making pizza in our very own wood-fired oven, using the outdoor BBQ, and dining al fresco surrounded by breathtaking views. Every moment at Poggio del Fattore felt special, offering the perfect blend of comfort and authenticity. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of the Tuscan countryside in style!

Abbiamo alloggiato qui per gli ultimi giorni dell'anno. Siamo stati accolti dall'host, che si è mostrata sin da subito cordiale e disponibile. La casa è splendida, organizzata su tre piani (l'ultimo raggiungibile con una scala a chiocchiola un po' stretta), molto spaziosa e accogliente. Dotata di 4 bagni, uno con vasca idromassaggio ed una piccola sauna, di un salotto, una zona lavanderia, uno studio con pianoforte ed una grande cucina che si affaccia sul bellissimo giardino con piscina. È stato lo spazio ideale per trascorrere qualche giorno in serenità tra amici e visitare i borghi toscani nelle vicinanze. Ha decisamente superato le nostre aspettative!
