Sweet garden cottage in hilltown

JulianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Kate was absolutely incredible to communicate with. Check-in was clear, her house is even better in person. The garden is spectacular. The town of Otricoli and her recommendations are spot-on and it’s an amazing place to visit the rest of the region of Umbria and Lazio!
A living area features a fireplace surrounded by decorative logs. A vibrant yellow wall is complemented by framed artwork and shelves filled with books. A comfortable sofa is positioned nearby, with a warm lamp providing ambient light.

In the Santa Reatina Valley

Anthony Rating, 5 stars20 months ago
Alessandra’s apartment in Rieti was a great value! Located just steps from the Medieval stone walls of downtown Rieti. Shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. Alessandra was an excellent and welcoming host! Her apartment is super clean with new appliances and great balcony overlooking Rieti and beyond. A great place to relax after a busy day of touring around Central Italy! Anthony

"La Maison de Iole", 30 km from Rome

AndreannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at Massi's to relive our magic of Roma from a previous trip to the area back in 2017. It did not disappoint. :-) The apartment had beautiful views and we were able to cook all our meals there. There is a MD store for food and a laundrette 5 mins walk away, you will see it clearly on your left over the bridge. While we stayed there, there was a market on a Wednesday, there is plenty of free parking on the same road as MD Store, so make sure you move your car, however this is only if you are staying on a Tuesday. In our stay, we went to Roma, we parked on 'Via Monte Massico', all along this road bar a few spaces was free parking, we then walked about 15 minutes to the nearest metro 'Jonio', this is where we got a day pass for around 8 euro, giving you access to all buses/metros. This was a fantastic place to explore Rome and Fiano is just as beautiful, Massi leaves you a fantastic guide, and is a very attentive host, would definitely return as it felt a home from home.
A wooden bench is positioned on a grassy area overlooking the lake. A person is seated on the bench, facing towards the tranquil water and distant hills. The scene captures the serene landscape, with sunlight illuminating the surroundings.

The little white house - lake view

MauroRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The house has a modern and functional living area, equipped with all comforts, an equipped kitchen, and the outdoor space of the house is very suggestive, with a terrace overlooking the lake. A unique experience immersed in nature, I fell asleep to a concert of frogs and woke up in the morning to the chirping of birds, there is an excellent air exchange, the bedroom has a double view. However, I recommend that you have lunch at the Oasi di Bianca where you can swim and sunbathe, the beach is pet friendly. Friendly owners. Beautiful experience.
A view through a window showcases expansive hills dotted with olive trees, under a bright blue sky. The landscape features a mix of autumnal colors across the trees, with distant rolling hills visible in the background.

Ancient farmhouse above the Farfa Valley

Maria StefanijaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at Silvia's place for a quick escape from the city with my partner, some friends, and our beloved cat—who was thankfully welcome thanks to the home’s generous pet policy. The house sits just outside the walls of a small Italian town called Poggio Nativo, and every window—along with the garden—looks out over a stunning sunset view of the valley. The style of the place is rustic and refined, with creative touches that make it clear the home belongs to artistic people. Though we didn’t meet Silvia in person, she was kind and helpful over the phone—giving us clear directions, local recommendations, and even sharing her favorite spots along the Farfa River. We all loved our stay and really hope to come back.

The House of the Rock

NarineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Mesmerising place. Everything was perfect. The pellet stove was already on when I arrived. Nice and warm. Very good communication with the owners. They messaged before arrival and during my stay to make sure everything is OK. Very well described the location with photos how to get there. Truly enjoyed my stay. Make sure you do your shopping before getting there as there isn't any shop there. But, if you are looking for a stsy somewhere tranquil then this is your place. Highly recommend

The White House (also GMaps)

AntonellaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
we had a great time, the house is very nice, practical and functional, the spaces are well organized and there is everything you need. The area is very quiet and the fact of being able to park on the property is also really convenient. Ambrogio and Annamaria are kind, responsive hosts ready to give you advice on places to visit nearby, they made us feel at home and we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended
