Villa in town with private garden, pool, sauna

FelicityRating, 5 stars1 week ago
An absolutely beautiful house, in easy walk of the restaurants and bars. The swimming pool was a bit fresh in late May, but beautifully clean and inviting on a hot day. The garden was well maintained, and full of gorgeous herbs and flowers. The house has loads of character, and is stylishly decorated. Comfortable beds and good linen. Lots of nice areas to sit outside, to catch the sun at different times of day and enjoy the spectacular views across the valley and over the rooftops of Narni. Can’t wait to come back.

The Red House

ReinierRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The road to the house is not paved and pretty bumpy but once you get to the house it is a pleasure to be there. The house has everything and has a great view of the valley below it. It has a pool on a lower level and below that a small field for soccer or volleyball. A lot of stairs both inside and outside. The surrounding area is interesting as it is an archeologists dream with Roman ruins within walking distance everywhere.

Vicolo - sleeps 5 with air con, wifi, balcony for

ShomaRating, 5 stars95 months ago
We stayed in casa Vicolo with our two children (4 and 6 yrs old). The house is beautifully rustic with lovely artwork, wooden beams, a huge fireplace, and Italian tiling, also spacious with a little veranda perfect for relaxing and drying off washing/ swim wear daily after using the pool (with a cupboard containing a float and a couple of foam noodles) and games area (basketball, table tennis and table fuseball). Kids were comfortable in their two single beds room and our double bedroom was spacious, both with attached bathrooms and AC units (temperatures hit 40 degrees in Aug). The kitchen had everything we needed after we did our own shop of essential foods for meals. The hosts were all very helpful and recommendations of local towns, restaurants and olive oil tastings were great. We will definitely be returning to Borgo Acquariua. Thanks Norma, Giulia, Nico, Laura and Vito!

Country Villa Due Querce with Pool near Rome

SarahRating, 5 stars6 days ago
If you are looking for the perfect spot for adults and kids, this villa is your place! My family and I had an amazing stay at Antonia’s villa. We had 3 families, including 5 kids aged 1 to 5. The villa is spacious, lots of room for everyone to spread out. Well equipped for children, including all the amenities you would need for young ones. The pool and lounge area overlook a breathtaking view! The animals were a big hit for the children, along with the fruit trees. Adrian brought a smile every morning bringing us fresh eggs, providing food for the animals (for the kids to feed), attending to the pool and grounds, and making sure we had everything we needed. We had Roberta cook us a 5 course meal one night, and the experience was amazing, authentic fresh Italian food enjoyed by all! Antonia is absolutely lovely, we met with her to purchase some of their olive oil. She made us feel at home and was great to communicate with! We had a dream vacation in Italy thanks to Antonia’s!

Gaballo Cottage

AdrienRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A little paradise on earth. We really had an amazing stay in Giorgia's outbuilding. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place, lost in the middle of nature just 30 minutes from Rome, this is the place for you. The view and the private pool complete the charm of a clean and well-equipped cottage. If in addition to that you are animal lovers, you will be really satisfied with cats as cute as they are affectionate, a donkey, a horse and dogs that make the experience even more unforgettable. We'll be back for sure!

"La Maison de Iole", 30 km from Rome

AndreannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at Massi's to relive our magic of Roma from a previous trip to the area back in 2017. It did not disappoint. :-) The apartment had beautiful views and we were able to cook all our meals there. There is a MD store for food and a laundrette 5 mins walk away, you will see it clearly on your left over the bridge. While we stayed there, there was a market on a Wednesday, there is plenty of free parking on the same road as MD Store, so make sure you move your car, however this is only if you are staying on a Tuesday. In our stay, we went to Roma, we parked on 'Via Monte Massico', all along this road bar a few spaces was free parking, we then walked about 15 minutes to the nearest metro 'Jonio', this is where we got a day pass for around 8 euro, giving you access to all buses/metros. This was a fantastic place to explore Rome and Fiano is just as beautiful, Massi leaves you a fantastic guide, and is a very attentive host, would definitely return as it felt a home from home.

The little white house - lake view

MauroRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The house has a modern and functional living area, equipped with all comforts, an equipped kitchen, and the outdoor space of the house is very suggestive, with a terrace overlooking the lake. A unique experience immersed in nature, I fell asleep to a concert of frogs and woke up in the morning to the chirping of birds, there is an excellent air exchange, the bedroom has a double view. However, I recommend that you have lunch at the Oasi di Bianca where you can swim and sunbathe, the beach is pet friendly. Friendly owners. Beautiful experience.

Ancient farmhouse above the Farfa Valley

Maria StefanijaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at Silvia's place for a quick escape from the city with my partner, some friends, and our beloved cat—who was thankfully welcome thanks to the home’s generous pet policy. The house sits just outside the walls of a small Italian town called Poggio Nativo, and every window—along with the garden—looks out over a stunning sunset view of the valley. The style of the place is rustic and refined, with creative touches that make it clear the home belongs to artistic people. Though we didn’t meet Silvia in person, she was kind and helpful over the phone—giving us clear directions, local recommendations, and even sharing her favorite spots along the Farfa River. We all loved our stay and really hope to come back.

Casa Lavinia, Was absolutely perfect, we loved our stay there. Beautiful apartment at the centre of Casperia. We couldn’t recommend it more! Marco was extremely understanding and patient with us as we had some minor delays at our arrival. Gave us great recommendations and provided us more than we needed for our stay. Extra touch was a gifted home made candle at our arrival. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to the area. Highly recommend !

Vasciano, Tranquility in a medieval village

BenedettoRating, 5 stars6 days ago
a corner of history and peace in the heart of a medieval village. As soon as you cross the threshold of the historic center, you are greeted by an atmosphere of yesteryear: cobbled alleys, stone houses, panoramic views and the silence broken only by the singing of birds or the ringing of bells. The apartment, expertly renovated, retains the rustic charm of the time, with exposed beams, terracotta floors and authentic furnishings. At the same time, it offers all modern comforts: a fully-equipped kitchen, a comfortable and clean bathroom, and a cozy and quiet sleeping area. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the view: looking out the window, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills or a small square full of history and tradition. A stay that is not only a vacation, but a journey through the history and soul of a unique place.
