Beautiful modern construction in a rural setting overlooking pastures and the valley below. Multiple and versatile outdoor areas with two patios and pool deck. Very quiet area without traffic noise, yet only a couple minutes from town and all its amenities. Andre is very quickly responsive in all communications.

A group of friends and I stayed during Holy Week. He was always attentive and available for whatever we needed, the house was very nice and cozy; the property was spectacular, a shame the rain prevented us from using the pool, with hosts like this it's a pleasure to travel, 100% recommended. We loved this house and the location and all the effort that was given from Pedro’s team to make us welcome. Thanks for the cake, the HUGE fruit bowl (that we nearly managed to consume), and the sweets, water etc. you thought of everything. The house isn’t in a tourist location but that is its charm, it’s so peaceful with a bar and supermarket in easy reach, perfect. You get some great recommendations , our favourites were Barzin, a ten minute walk, but the best fish restaurant has to be Oburaco in Esposende, the good was amazing. There is also S2 locally, it’s very good. We visited, Braga, Porto, Barcelos(Thursday is huge market day), Esposende. The house is located perfectly and we did not hire cars, instead used Uber or the local taxi company. We were a party of 8 and the house was large enough to allow peace in the garden, whilst others watched TV, or some used the gym, and others used the bikes. Note the bikes are great but there can be a forceful wind to fight!

We had a lovely weeks stay at Casa da Horta. The pool and views from the pool area were amazing and the children enjoyed playing on the trampoline and exploring the grounds. The apartment itself was really well furnished and clean and we all loved the large shower. The position of the apartment at the top of the site meant it wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues (as per Vania’s description) but for us it just meant that we walked off some the pastel de natas and we appreciated the particularly good views from our patio area. Guimaraes was only 12 mins drive away with its pretty historic town and Porto was an hour and ten minutes on the train (with one train every hour) and cost us around 22 euros return for the whole family. We also went on the cable cars at Guimaraes and the Funicular at Braga, both of which our children really enjoyed. We had a lovely holiday and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the apartments to anyone considering a holiday in the area.

We stayed in Viana do Castelo for work and everything was great from the first to the last day. The location of the accommodation is sensational, you can walk quickly to the city, to a small shop, gym and a great bakery (Ameadella). The pizzeria right around the corner was not recommended. Then you are very quickly on the highway, which was important to us because we had to go to Ponte de Lima every morning. The house has everything you need and the owner is always available. The size of the house surprised us positively. We were six people and we all had more than enough space. The garden and large balconies invited you to linger. Sometimes the fuse has jumped out but that did not bother us further. This was because everyone got ready, the heaters were running and electrical appliances were in operation. Good accommodation to get to know the area with all the comforts of home. We had a wonderful few days.

The house is beautiful, of a typical architecture of the villages of the north of the Iberian Peninsula, very well preserved and equipped, has all the amenities, even for a dinner with many people. Calm environment, familiar and great for pets. As the house is all walled is safe for even the most restless pets. The pool area is also fenced, good for children. Although we have been there in the winter all the spaces have some kind of heating and many covered. Alexandra is very kind and helpful, willing to help whenever we had a question about how the house works. Thank you very much Alexandra for the excellent stay you have provided us.

Floriane and Christophe's property was the perfect setting for our extended family group. We were a party of 10 spanning three generations and the split of individual apartments ensured we didn't get in each other's way. The air-conditioned apartments were tastefully decorated, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. All fixtures and fittings were new and each apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival. The large pool is surrounded by a beautifully established garden with towering cactuses and a winding wisteria. The outside dining area accommodated everyone and came complete with two BBQs. A large supermarket is located within a short drive, as is a train station with direct links to central Porto. The city and the airport are also accessible by car within 40 minutes. The inland town of Amarante is also well worth a visit. In summary, Floriane and Christophe were excellent hosts with a delightful property. We hope to return soon.

There were 16 of us for our son's birthday. We had an unforgettable stay, everything was perfect and as described in the listing. The house, the location, the cleanliness. Everything is done for a pleasant stay. Pool table, foosball table, swimming pool, etc. The sea on the other side of the road, a bus stop in front of the house, and great restaurants all along. Breakfast at "O Rei dos croissants" 10/15 min walk along the sea. A walk that whets the appetite. Liliana was very attentive, always reachable, a sweetheart. A small welcome basket was waiting for us, which is very nice. Thanks to Liliana and Fernando for their attention to their guests. My son thanks them for their special attention on his birthday, which was greatly appreciated. We'll save this address for the next time. I would recommend it in a second.

It was a pleasure to spend a few days in Ralf's place. It's a wonderful house in a unique setting!! We had the bad luck that during all our days it rained a lot but thanks to the comforts of the house we were able to spend it fantastically and enjoy each space. But the best part was certainly not the house, nor was the environment Ana and Ralf who were aware of us at all times. Thank you for that💖💖

Impeccable home, good location, 3min from the tram and 30min walk to the center of Porto, easy arrival. Pleasant garden for breakfast and aperitifs. Homes perfect for a large group. Comfort bedding.

A great place for my group of seven. It was beautiful, clean, and had enough space for all of us. Walkable location and right around the corner from a market. Hosts were responsive and able to quickly resolve a key situation that we ran into.

Fantastic accommodation. Beautiful gardens, pool and house. Marcus is a very good host, and looked after us so well - bringing us little gifts like fresh orange juice just made the experience so much better. One of our children really wanted to keep a huge lemon he’d found in the garden but we told him he would have to ask. Instead of just saying no, or yes, Marcus said “sure, but why don’t we make some lemonade together!”. Just so thoughtful and kind. The house is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. Lots of attention to detail. Pool is very large and everything is perfectly clean. Marcus and Rick really did go out of their way to ensure our stay was successful without ever being intrusive, so please don’t hesitate to book!

Marisa’s property was absolutely perfect for our family (10 adults). The individual apartments were lovely, clean and comfortable and gave everyone their own personal space while also providing a common space for us to gather. We were greeted promptly on our arrival with a tour and clear instructions. (And a nice welcome basket of goodies!) The location was also great, giving us access to restaurants and attractions. Very walkable to most places. Highly recommend this property!

Fantastic space, was a great stay with 5 adults and a baby. Rita was so accommodating and easy to deal with. The place is large with a lovely living area. Wish we had booked for longer than 4 nights! Highly recommend.

Our stay at this beautiful home in Portugal was absolutely perfect. After traveling such a long way for my sister’s wedding, it was the peaceful and welcoming space our family truly needed. The home felt like a second home—every small detail was so thoughtful and intentional. We loved that there was plenty of space for everyone to be close, while still being able to find quiet moments alone. The upstairs outdoor room was a favorite spot, and having fresh oranges from the tree every day made it feel magical. We even had a cookout during our stay, which made for such special memories. The host was phenomenal—she had fresh bread delivered daily and stocked the home with so many amenities that we didn’t need to run out for a thing. She truly went above and beyond, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Overall, she was absolutely wonderful to my family and me, and we are so glad we chose this home. It made an already special trip even more unforgettable.

The house is super spacious and well cared for, great for large groups. The garden and pool area are super pleasant areas. The hostess was very helpful and always available when necessary. The house has everything we need, the atmosphere is quiet and we love that the house is so well-equipped with matrecos, ping pong table, barbecue area and even pool buoys. I recommend your stay!

A truly amazing house overlooking the sea. Super beautifully decorated and all very neat. Ana was always very friendly and attentive. Pretty flexible at checkout. Recording now in the summer, no doubt! So we can enjoy the amazing pool.
