Really nice apartment in such a beautiful area! Right in Ruka Village and a couple minute walk to a lift, everything was right there. The sauna was fantastic, great place for a great price! Would def stay again! And if you have any issues Tero is right there to help! Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely cabine! The host is very helpful and friendly! Quiet spot with a convenient location! If you want a few days of relaxation this is your place! The interior of the chalet has very cozy with a stunning view.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Saarua by the Slopes. Ruka is a perfect family holiday destination for easy skiing and lots of snow activities. The restaurants in the area are fantastic. The children's ski and play area is incredible, with great instructors, indoor and outdoor play spaces. If you're considering a Ruka holiday--do it! Villa Saarua is in a quintessential log-cabin neighborhood. It's a dream to stroll around, with each cabin graced with snow. The cabin itself is cozy and well appointed. Beautiful log fireplace with plenty of wood, lovely sauna, nicely outfitted kitchen. Two private bedrooms, one with a large bed, the other bunks. Then up the ladder, which is open to the main living space, is perfect for small children. The location is very nice. It's about a 5-10 min walk to Vuosseli. There are several small paths between the cabins, down to the road, and then across the street. It's then another 5 min walk to the Family Park and more restaurants. We recommend it!

Hans place was exactly as pictured. There were roses and champagne left for us on the table. Everything was perfect, we would definitely recommend this place to other couples for a nice get away. Beautiful scenery and amenities like jacuzzi and sauna. Very close to the slopes as well and Hans even set us up to go to a local reindeer farm to feed the reindeer. 10/10 place to stay that made for a a great vacation.

There were four of us in this beautiful house the week before Christmas. Our conclusion: Lots of peace, nature and coziness - we will be happy to come back. The fireplace has warmed the house well at some up to -26 degrees. We were all impressed by what sounds such a lake can make. Sami is a very friendly and accommodating host and was quick to respond to queries. Upon request, the road to the house was cleared twice for us, as a lot of fresh snow and otherwise we would not have gotten away by car. The panoramic windows in the living and dining room are a highlight, as you can observe the beautiful nature everywhere. One evening, thanks to the motion detector, we even saw a snow bunny. In addition, the house is very stylish and cozy. Posio is about 20 minutes away and you can shop there. In addition, there are some beautiful snow hiking trails nearby such as Riisitunturi National Park.

Words are not enough to describe this amazing accomodation. Very stylish interiors with lots of space. Extremely well stocked kitchen. Lots of cutlery , crockery and all your cooking needs. Beds are super comfortable and bedrooms are very cozy. The showers are fantastic with great water pressure. There is a so much to do like large sauna , jacuzzi , plenty of games , outdoor bbq area. Eetu is a great host and very responsive. Outstanding accomodation and we will definitely be back.

What an absolutely awesome experience, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been Yanina and Tj were great hosts and were there for everything we needed Highly recommend !!! Booking again for spring/summer

We have just arrived home after the most incredible stay here. The place is exactly like the pictures and immaculately clean. We are a family of 2 adults and 4 children and there was a lot of space for everyone to relax. The cabin was super toasty and warm even when it was -22 outside. Jouko is a fabulous host right from the start of booking, he responded to all my questions and gave great recommendations. We also hired our mini van through Jouko and he supplied booster seats for our younger children to save us bringing any. We loved it that much we are already looking to come back and stay next year.

It was all good. Beautiful holiday in Lapland.

This place really made our trip very special and Janne and Eini were the kindest hosts I have had at an AirBNB. It was wonderful that they included ski passes; it saved us on private ski lessons, rental equipment, and let us use all the lifts and the gondola to get to the top of the slopes or even just to the new Base Heat and Eat. It was a great location that wasn’t too far from local restaurants but secluded enough to not be in the crowded areas. Having the sauna and fireplace and beautiful house was great to unwind from jet lag of our first couple days or fun filled activities later in the week. We saw the Auroras/Northern Lights twice from the house. Once faintly while we were in the jacuzzi and once from the from yard, completely bright and stretched across the sky. It was truly an unforgettable stay.

We had a wonderful time at Paulus‘ house! The place looks even better in reality and you will be able to really relax and enjoy yourself here. The house is beautiful, bright and comfy with lots of small lovely details here and there. The kitchen has everything you will need for a good meal and it’s fun to cook together. We stayed here with four adults in total enjoying the new year. The piece of the place made us slow down and feel really homie. We would definitely recommend it and book it again at one point. The communication with Paulus was easy, very friendly and proactive. Thank you for making it a special vacation by renting your house to us!
