Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Port Franks

Great value, and Guosen was very thoughtful and considerate as a host. When the weather got dodgy, and our flights were in jeopardy he helped out by freezing bookings for the next couple days, so we could extend our stay at the last minute if needed.

The Hemlock retreat was exactly what we needed for parents of two little kids to get away for a few days. The house was absolutely spotless! The kitchen and dining area was airy and bright with beautiful views of the woods. We watched deer, turkey and woodpeckers during meals. We enjoyed hiking along the creek and through the forest; it's clear that the owners love this property and put a lot of effort into the forest management. The sauna, fireplace and large tub were so nice for warming up. They even provided firewood. The owners house is nearby, but all the main windows face the other direction towards the woods, so we felt like we had lots of privacy. The bed is on the softer side but we slept comfortably. The smart tv was great, and I loved having access to the Sonos speaker in the kitchen so I could play music while cooking. Overall we would definitely come back; it was the perfect stay despite the cold march weather so I imagine it's beautiful in every season. Thank you!

We had a great one-night stay at Salem's place. The place was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed. The host was friendly, easy to communicate with, and made the whole process smooth. Would definitely recommend!

FALL GETAWAY-Stayed Oct 18-20, 2024 with friends. The surroundings at this cottage in the fall are absolutely beautiful lots of fall colours and wildlife. There's a lovely beach just down the road we had great weather so it was nice to go for a walk, very peaceful not allot of people this time of year. We had dinner at Macphersons on Friday night which was very good and pizza the following night at Grogs which was also very good. Host Rebecca was wonderful, helpful, very worry free experience. Great cottage very clean had everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Fantastic getaway to unwind and enjoy the outdoors would highly recommend.

The property was wonderfully quiet. We spent Saturday quietly and had a nice cheery fire in the fireplace on Saturday night. It was just the right place for us to have a little getaway.

A few hockey families in town for a tournament. Lots of room, great location. We cooked meals all weekend in the large, well equipped kitchen. Lots of great memories made here!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The space was wonderfully decorated with a charming and cozy aesthetic, and it was impeccably clean throughout. The host was exceptionally friendly and always available to answer any questions, which made the experience even more enjoyable. This is a basement apartment Airbnb, which I usually try to avoid, as we have experienced a basement Airbnb where we could hear every word the owners above us were saying. But this basement Airbnb we could not hear anything above us, so it was private. There is a soaking tub/shower with a rain shower shower head. The tub/shower, being a soaking tub, is high to get in and out of. But it has excellent water pressure. The bathroom is not right next to the bedrooms. We always bring our own nightlights in case this is the case. So, with the tall tub and bathroom not near the main bedroom, I am not sure I would recommend it for older people such as ourselves, but for a younger person, it would be perfect.

I am originally born and raised in London Ontario, and was visiting from Alberta. I have always loved this street where the unit is located. It’s so amazingly close to Victoria Park, and so many great bars and restaurants! So I knew what I was getting into as being born and raised in London with this unit. And it checked every box that I needed!! :) The old Heritage homes are filled with so much character, and made me feel at home instantly! And you’ve never had a proper bath until you’ve had a bath and a clawfoot tub!! The spot was absolutely perfect and I will definitely be back in the coming months as there doesn’t seem to be anything comparable for location, price, and cleanliness. Fanny was responsive, proactive and super friendly!! Looking forward to my next stay!! ❤️

We had a great stay at MiCasa. The condo looked newly renovated, and it was very clean and comfortable. The building has a bar downstairs as well as “fowling”, plus a Speakeasy, so that was very convenient and fun. It was also walking distance to restaurants and other bars. The location is great. I would only suggest that the instructions to open the lock box specify to press * after the code. It took us a little while to figure this out before finally being able to open it.

The property is in a cozy, green area, surrounded by beautiful architecture, ample parking, and a charming café nearby. Fawwaz was a great host, super commucative. The place has an amazing outdoor space which we loved! Highly recommend!
