Cozy cottage in the countryside. The cottage has all the amenities and a wood sauna. Spacious field views. In the summer, you can borrow bikes. Little Pernaja Bay is nearby and swimming / boat beach is about 2.5 km away. - Approximately 16 km to Porvoo and about 30 km to the city of Loviisa. There's no shop nearby here, so it's a good idea to shop in advance.

Near the Strömfors ironworks area we have a big house by Alvar Aalto office. One part of it is for rent. The house is about five minutes walk from the ironworks area. In Strömfors there are sights, services and activities. There are no kitchen, but it`s possible to make breakfast.

We stayed at Harri’s place for 4 nights for a city break. Harri was a great host, his communication and instructions for getting there were spot on. The apartment was spotless with all the facilities you would need, there was also a very clear instruction manual to refer to. Harri also gave us great recommendations for bars, restaurants, things to do etc. The apartment was ideally located, within walking distance of everything also great cafes, bars and restaurants nearby and a 24hr supermarket. Harri was also flexible with our check out which was much appreciated. If we arête to return to Helsinki we would definitely stay again.

Mervi and Eduardo are very gracious hosts. They were very responsive and attentive to our needs. The stay was pleasant, the home was spotlessly clean and we felt right at home. The location was just as described- peaceful in a quiet and serene neighborhood. I have nothing but the highest recommendation for our hosts who made our visit so convenient, comfortable and special. For a stay at Porvoo this accommodation is perfect. A very quiet, very charming cottage. Large living room with desk, table and couch. Kitchen is small, for preparing smaller meals it is fine, we ate in the living room. Bathroom & toilette are excellent. Beds are upstairs under the roof. If beds are too soft for you, put the matress on the floor and it is perfect. We arrived with an Omnibus in Porvoo, and Carita has been so nice to pick us up at the bus station. She took us to the supermarket later that day. The cottage is only 5 min from Porvoo's center. It is easy to walk and you will always pass by the nice church and the historic center. Carita & Christopher are perfect hosts. They live next door and it is a pleasure to talk to them in their garden. All in all: Highly recommended.

A really lovely and homey spot. Fully equipped, including lots of items often not in a unit (washer,dryer, sauna, private patio). Location is great - close to the water and parks; easy transit ride to the metro and downtown; we really enjoyed our stay.
