Vacation rentals in Pongola

This cottage was truly a dream. Even your arrival blew us away... seeing so many animals was a great surprise and we were immediately helped when we didn't find the way right away...just great how warmly we were then welcomed at the house. We had great days and will certainly come back sometime. Where can you stay over the treetops in such beautiful surroundings!?! A very special experience.

This place is a Gem, very peaceful, perfect get away. The staff go out of there way to make you happy and the Food Sean cooks is that South African home feeling. Jabs is an up beat friendly guy and gave us a great experience. The whole team fits well together. If you want to get away from the rush this is the place to go!

Wessel was a great host, very friendly and full of recommendations on what to do in the area. Helped to organise a private game drive through the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi park. Cottage was comfortable and spacious.

Tchagra House is an absolute gem. The house is well appointed, spacious and in a beautiful game reserve, garden setting. The open plan living spaces create an easy space to wind down, relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounds. Cook’s kitchen was large and easy to navigate. WiFi reliable and made working from the space achievable. Zanele and Reuben, the house and garden staff, were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Keren was always just a message away. Beautiful touches of welcome treats for the kids and adults. Easy 30 min drive to Memorial gate at Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Excellent stay. We will be back.

great stay

This is an amazing place for a big group of people, so worth the money. Really lovely setting and a great stop over on route to Mozambique 🇲🇿

We’ve been traveling full time and living out of Airbnbs / short term rentals for eight years and this is one of our favorite stays yet. Loved the identical/mirrored rooms - perfect for four adults as no one felt like they got the less nice room; both en suite. Nice and thoughtful decor Good Wi-Fi Nicely equipped kitchen Hot hot tub (we often find hot tubs don’t get hot enough) Comfy beds Nice showers: hot water lasted even when four of us took showers back to back and pressure was good. We were here in winter but felt the climate control was good. Each bedroom has a hot / cold unit and if needed the bedroom doors could be left open to heat or cool the common area, though this was not necessary during our stay. Bush babies would visit at night and we saw other animals out on walks. Close to Hluhluwe for safari Daily housekeeping

Our stay was beyond what we expected!! Simonè and her husband were amazing, the house is beautiful with so many spots to chill and so much tranquility. The wildlife was superb we loved watching the birds and bucks all around the garden! The pineapple treats and stocked up fridge were such an amazing surprise 🥰😍

Absolutely loved staying at Imani! It is a Birders paradise and had everything we needed. So peaceful and right in the bush!
