5 Stars – Unforgettable Beachside Retreat! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Palm Beach Estates! Dirk was an exceptional host—always quick to respond and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The house is just steps from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean anytime. We especially loved the outdoor grill area—it was perfect for cooking up the fresh red snapper we got from the local fish truck. So delicious! The pool was a major highlight for our family. The colorful lights at night made it feel magical, and we spent many evenings playing Marco Polo with our girls—such great memories. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, with great access to local spots and the beach just around the corner. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway!

This place exceeded my expectations. Pictures don’t do justice. The restaurant at the top is AMAZING. Lizette, the person who received us, is a beautiful person and very knowledgeable. Don’t think twice to book this!!!!

Muy lindo el departamento, muy cómodo para mi familia de 6. Las vistas del departamento son increíbles. El departamento muy bien decorado y todo funcionaba muy bien. Esta a 5 minutos de auto del centro de Tamarindo, en una área un poco mas tranquila. Excelente estadía.

We love going to Reserva Conchal and Daphne's place had everything we wanted, from plenty of bedrooms, to a great location and view overlooking the golf course. Once inside the reserve, we had access to both The Westin and The W and all the amenities they had to offer. Great place to spend a weekend.

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

We had a phenomenal stay here! We had a private balcony, large airbnb and access to all the amenities (tennis, pickle ball, pool, ice plunge). We were a less than 5 minute walk to the beach and local restaurants. There was no noise and the AC was amazing. Will definitely be staying here again

Beautiful Condo. Amazing 5th floor view from the patio and master bedroom. Large living/dining room and the kitchen is fully equipped. Both bedrooms are large with lots of closet space. Great to have access to a washer/dryer. Huge pool and the condo is right across the street from a resort with beach access. Very close to plenty of restaurants. Convenience near by. We did have difficulty utilizing the safe as the key/lock seemed worn out.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Casa Gecko. It was clean , comfortable , great location and was like a resort. It was a pleasure meeting Les, and we will definitely go back

La villa es preciosa y acogedora, tiene todo lo necesario para una estadía en familia. A los chicos les encantó el lugar y la piscina. Es muy tranquilo y seguro, super recomendado. Leímos reseñas de personas que decían lo que el lugar no tiene pero hay supermercados alrededor para suplir cualquier faltante.

We just had a 5-day stay at Drew's apartment at Playa Grande. Absolutely loved the location, easy access in and out, walkability to the beach and restaurants, great room sizes, large deck, pool option, and excellent commucation from the owners. Definitely great value for the price!

Wonderful place in Tamarindo… it is walkable to town….. but I would recommend renting a golf cart. Such a unique place….. we loved all of the different spaces to hang out, either together of if you need some alone time. Great communication with the host, beautiful decor…… all in all a wonderful place

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drei traumhafte Monate in diesem wunderschönen Haus! Die Ruhe war himmlisch und die Lage direkt am Meer unschlagbar - fast täglich sind wir schwimmen gegangen. Die Aufteilung des Hauses war perfekt für uns. Und das Privileg in so einem Haus zu wohnen war für uns aussergewöhnlich. Danke Roxana. Als Gastgeberin warst du sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hast alles wunderbar organisiert. Diese fantastischen Wochen werden unvergesslich bleiben und wir wollen gerne wiederkommen!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

What a spot for a vacation! The location was prime and the room itself was well suited for everything you need. This is a hidden gem in the area. Things I appreciated the most: The ocean was steps away for a swim at anytime. The shop keepers and restaurant owners downstairs are great people and pleasant to talk to during your stay. Waffle monkey (breakfast) and Portofino are the best spots for breakfast, fresh seafood, low cost happy hours, and fire show at night during sunset. You can literally walk anywhere in minutes. There is 3 separate door with locks to get to your top floor rental so this spot is very safe! If you are lucky, you'll notice a 5 foot iguana that rests in the trees to your right off the porch, spending days in the trees. Alvaro is the mgmt person who helps you. He speaks great English and responds rapidly to questions. Can't wait to return and bring family. The two units next to each other would be an ideal joint rental for a group of 5-7 people. Highly recommend!!!

I highly recommend this place! Photos do not do it justice. We found it bigger than expected, the views are breathtaking and location was great for by the beach & everything within a 5 min drive. Spent lots of time at (both) pools and had them to ourself everyday. Hosts were quick to remedy any issues & easy to communicate. Will definitely be back!

We stayed at 5 airbnbs while in Costa Rica and this was one of my favorites! The condo was very spacious, clean and well equipped. We had a great view from the ocean from the terrace and master bedroom. You are also only a few steps from the pool which makes it very accessible specially I you have kids. You have access to the beach and beach chairs that you can use while you are there. There’s very few places with this type of access in tamarindo so I would definitely recommend this gem. They also have a maid come and clean the condo every few days which if you are doing a longer stay like we did it was super nice. No other Airbnb offered that service.

Great place to spend a relaxing vacation. Douglas was very responsive and the property was in a beautiful location. If you arent familiar with Costa Rica, be prepared the roads and long travel times. The location is in a beautiful location, but doesnt have alot of locations near the property. We were looking for that so it was perfect. Douglas' instructions and recommendations were very helpful and we really enjoyed the pool on property. We also had private chefs and massages on site which were great.

Perfect location and great condo. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Tamarindo. Pool right outside was amazing. Would definitely return!

The location was quiet and easily walkable to beach and restaurants. Grocery store is one building away. Host was on premises. Friendly neighbors nice pool.

We had a wonderful stay with 8 guests. The house is exactly as it appears in the photos, organized with 3 primary bedrooms around the central pool area. There is a fourth bedroom with 4 bunk beds. All of the bedrooms have their own bath/shower areas. The large living area has a big glass door that slides open to create an indoor/outdoor experience. We loved having breakfast prepared each day. We thought it might not be needed every day. However, after the first day, we decided it was too good to pass up, allowing us to relax every morning around the pool, drinking delicious coffee until the food was prepared. We would also highly recommend having a golf cart. It was delivered prior to our arrival and made trips in and out of town super easy. The location of the house is great. You can access either Playa Longosta or Playa Tamarindo through gates that are short walk from the house. The folks at the front gate to the neighborhood can give you the code. Overall, this is a great house!

We loved it here! Within walking distance to the beach, shops and food. It was also great coming back and hanging by the pool. Mandy and Toh were friendly and communication was smooth.

Wow! What an epically beautiful place. I highly recommend this AirBNB, Playa Negra, and Costa Rica. Words cannot express how awesome this trip was. We had a family of 5 (kids: 6,4,4). The beach and pool at the AirBNB were exceptional. And Playa Negra beach was very close for great wave action. The town of Playa Negra is charmingly perfect (coffee shop, a couple restaurants, small market). We are grateful for the experience.
