Amazing space, very nice stone house, everything renovated, perfect size for 2 couples and 2 babies! Amazing pool, and perfect surrounding space for socializing, good barbecue! I highly recommend this experience.

Whatever criteria is involved in the "Superhost" badge, Ana and Teresa surely deserve it. We never felt so welcome. Teresa greeted us warmly with local delicacies and was easily reachable and very fast to respond while respectful of our privacy. In addition to being very comfortable, the house is so spotless, well equipped and organized, it left us impressed. We were provided with ample complimentary kitchen and bathroom supplies like shampoo, soaps, coffee etc The patio and pool-side seating areas are lovely to spend time enjoying the sun or fresh air under a parasol. The kitchen is a dream. Between the appliances, utensils and dinnerware and the gas stove, you won't want to go back to your kitchen. We made good use of the AC and fans in the unseasonably warm weather when we were not in the pool, which was cleaned every day and so warm from being exposed to the sun all day. We are eager to come back and enjoy the clear skies above Casa da Regadinha and Ana and Teresa's hospitality.

The location and property are beautiful. The day we stayed there was very warm but nice and cool in the place. We were swimming in the river where we could walk and the pool was also used. On our departure, we even got something to eat with us. A great place to stay, with a very nice and helpful host!!!

Mrs. Alexandra was simply impeccable! Breakfast was excellent and very homemade, check-in was very fast, we felt enormous peace on the farm! We went to spend New Year's Eve and loved the treats they left us. We definitely want to come back in the summer to enjoy the pool!

For those who want peace, quiet and a few days away from the hustle and bustle, this is the ideal place! With a privileged view over the Douro, barbecue and a pool that reached 29º, what more could we ask for? The house was clean, the air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked smoothly and they left us some treats (more than was even needed) for our breakfast. Thank you! The host was super accessible, friendly and concerned and took us on his boat for a ride on our beautiful Douro River. I highly recommend it!

We loved it here! Rosa and Joao made us feel like family. Rosa is incredibly knowledgeable of the Village and the surrounding areas. The animals are friendly, you can walk through the areas without fear. The goats, Lemon (the donkey), Boss the puppy and so much more. Rosa should be the Mayor, she knows everyone and her friendly personality makes the entire Village glow. We were introduced to all the friendly people of the Aldeia Fuinhas. Rosa shared her knowledge of the cheese making process, I have new cheese making skills. The hostess with the mostest provided good wine, tasty orange cake, plenty of good herbal teas, the garden is bright and well maintained. I had a refreshing dip in the super clean pool on a hot day. Casa da Aldeia is a magical place for all ages to enjoy the surroundings and the Animals. You can find Joao or their friendly neighbor Joaquin milking the goats twice daily. You will love to see this fresh milk production; say cheese. We will see you again Rosa & Joao

Susana was so helpful and welcoming. The village is perfect for a calming, peaceful stay. We had everything we could have wanted and more. The bathroom and kitchen are very well appointed and clean, the dining and living area comfortable, cozy and warm in the evenings, the views from the terrace are stunning and the beds were very comfortable. Perfect if you want to be in nature, surrounded by fruit, flowers and trees with big sky and beautiful vistas. Would recommend a car to stay here. We had an amazing stay and we’ll be going back!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming village house! Ana was an incredibly kind and thoughtful host, making sure everything was perfect for our visit. She even left us a lovely welcome gift in the kitchen and food for our doggy. The house is full of authentic character, tucked away in a peaceful and quiet setting that feels like a true escape. We loved that it’s dog-friendly, and even our furry friend felt right at home! The house was well-equipped and clean, and Ana’s detailed instructions made everything easy. We especially appreciated that Ana kindly allowed us a late checkout, which gave us time to enjoy a relaxed breakfast and even take a morning hike to the nearby Roman ruins – such a unique experience! We would absolutely love to return if we’re ever in the area again. Thank you, Ana, for a memorable stay! 🌿

We were surprised by the house, very well decorated and impeccably clean and organized. Located in a quiet location, ideal for spending a few days of rest. The kids had a great time in the pool and with the yard, and we were even able to pick fresh tomatoes from the garden! It was a very pleasant stay.

Comfortable and pleasant indoor and outdoor space. The house is equipped with all the necessary utilities. The area is very quiet, there is a soccer field and a playground next to the house.

Lovely little Quinta in Granja (near Guarda). Maria is a sweet lady who lives on the ground floor while the apartment is on the entire top floor of the house. My family and I enjoyed living in a proper Portuguese farm! The apartment was very clean and exactly like in the pics. The only issue was that I had some difficulty finding the place since Google Maps did not recognize the address provided. Better to request for Google Maps location from Maria/Martha beforehand.

The accommodation is perfect for two people! Hosts are always responsive and very friendly! Everything was impeccable and the property is a charm! It was well worth it and I hope to return when visiting the other historic villages!

We had a very nice stay in the house for 7 people. It is a very large, nice and well-kept house, and the outdoor space is beautiful, with a large pool and all the amenities. The caretakers are very friendly and communication was always easy. Thank you!

Wow! Vera and Antonio were friendly and welcoming hosts, even inviting us to join them in their personal cellar for a welcome drink from their own vintage. The apartment was newly renovated and was immaculate. We really loved the big bath sheets. For us the bed was a little firm, but we all have personal preferences about such things. We loved experiencing life in a tiny, but authentic rural village of Saturday, 26 kms from Guarda. If you are looking to escape the rat race, this is unique. Highly recommend.
