It was great staying in Carmo's home, she was always very kind and communicative. The house is great, and the outdoor area is very large and quiet. The clean rooms, the comfortable beds and the chimney in the living room is very nice for the cold days. Wishing to return one day!

We had an amazing time at Fernando’s place! The scenery is beautiful and the house was perfect for the relaxing trip we were hoping for! The locals in Valhelhas are so friendly and fun to be around. Our stay in this small village was fantastic! We can only recommend Fernando’s place!

The property is located together with a neighboring building on a small road that leads to the mountains and as a shortcut to the main road about 600 m further above. Despite the window open, this was not very disruptive. The apartment is on two levels in the basement. In front of the front door is a small private yard with barbecue and seating/table. The car can be parked on the property ( above the small courtyard). The pool is accessible at all times, was already warm (but not heated), is very large and was very clean. There are loungers by the pool and you have a great view. Small supermarket in the village (very friendly owner!) and some places nearby.

Linhares da Beira and the surrounding area is a beautiful place to visit. The villa is perfect- well worth the money spent! Comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. We braved the pool even though the weather was a bit cold for the time of year. Thanks to Linda and Helena for everything.

We spent 3 unforgettable family days at the house of Postigo. We were very well received and treated during this period by Luísa, always helpful and attentive to our needs. The house is excellent for its comfort, equipment, cleaning and location. For those who like nature, tranquility, a beautiful sunset and excellent deal, this house is an excellent choice!! We will not hesitate to return!!

She even left us a lovely welcome gift in the kitchen and food for our doggy. The house is full of authentic character, tucked away in a peaceful and quiet setting that feels like a true escape. We loved that it’s dog-friendly, and even our furry friend felt right at home! The house was well-equipped and clean, and Ana’s detailed instructions made everything easy. We especially appreciated that Ana kindly allowed us a late checkout, which gave us time to enjoy a relaxed breakfast and even take a morning hike to the nearby Roman ruins – such a unique experience! We were surprised by the house, very well decorated and impeccably clean and organized. Located in a quiet location, ideal for spending a few days of rest. The kids had a great time in the pool and with the yard, and we were even able to pick fresh tomatoes from the garden! It was a very pleasant stay.

Wow! Vera and Antonio were friendly and welcoming hosts, even inviting us to join them in their personal cellar for a welcome drink from their own vintage. The apartment was newly renovated and was immaculate. We really loved the big bath sheets. For us the bed was a little firm, but we all have personal preferences about such things. We loved experiencing life in a tiny, but authentic rural village of Saturday, 26 kms from Guarda. If you are looking to escape the rat race, this is unique. Highly recommend. If you want to immerse yourself in a wonderful culture in a fairly remote place, and in a spectacular house, this is the place for you! The house is perfectly beautiful, nestled in an old historic village where everyone knows everyone, and sheep walk through some mornings guided by local shepherds. We didn't want a tourist place, and what we got is a beautiful area and beautiful people. It was an incredible experience in an incredible place.
