I had a wonderful stay at this villa! The views were absolutely stunning—waking up to that scenery every day was a real treat. The overall ambiance was calm, cozy, and inviting, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Both the indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and beautifully maintained, offering plenty of room to unwind, dine, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The staff was amazing—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. A special shoutout to the chef Ranga who was fantastic and prepared delicious hotel-style meals that made the experience feel even more luxurious. it was a truly memorable stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with great service and stunning views.

Fantastic home and some great help from Danuo and Praba who cooked some fantastic food and were always there to help and offer services and information . Praba was a great Caddy ! Overall a fantastic host, house helps and definitely recommend for families and friends coming to Victoria

We felt very comfortable from the first minute we felt very comfortable from the first minute in this comfortable, large and tastefully furnished house. It is located at the end of a quiet side street with a great view across the valley and river to the mountains. Sakunthala greeted us super nicely and went above and beyond to make us feel well received. She is also a good cook who served us the best food. Also the homeowners Aude and Ariyam, whom we were able to get to know later, are very nice and were always eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The only thing we regret is that we only booked for three days and then had to travel on. We'd love to come again. Thank you for everything! Katharina

Wow! This place is incredible, if you love golf you’ll be in heaven. I’ve never played at a more friendly club ever! The members are so welcoming and we made some awesome friends here that we will keep in touch with. Alan is a great host and did even more than required we feel really privileged to have met such wonderful people. His property is amazing, you won’t be disappointed, along with his care taker and house keeper we felt relaxed, safe and well looked after. Our 10 day stay here will be hard to beat, we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Kandy Hill Residence. Getting there was easy thanks to Google Maps, and Ashoka was incredibly responsive and helpful right from the beginning. He welcomed us personally at the property, which was a nice touch. The place itself was clean, calm, and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the large rooftop terrace offering beautiful views - a perfect spot to relax. We were initially a bit concerned about the heat since the rooms are non-AC, but the fans kept things comfortable enough, even during the warmer season.

The place is amazingly serene and we loved every bit of our private stay in the forest. Co hosts Ravi and Ayesha were more than helpful and went above and beyond to help us navigate through in heavy rains and personal recommendations. We instantly felt at home because of his welcoming and friendly approach. Leaving the place with our hearts full. Thanks to Pumini and Moorthy for our amazing meals and hospitality.

Very responsive host... caretaker was so humble overall gd experience my kids n family enjoyed taking alot of pictures inside e villa itself. rather on e hillside but if u love the quiet n beautiful scenery in e morning this is definitely for u .. Very accomodative as we requested for early check in and late check out.

Clarence's place is just wonderful! It is very spacious, airy, light, comfy and beautiful. All our family enjoyed staying at Clarence. He is a great host, always responding quick and making the best to please his guests. The other members of Clarence's family must be mentioned too. They all are very polite, friendly and hospitable. The balcony, which better be called a terrace, is huge and the view is stunning. Everything is great, highly recommended for families and people who prefer tranquility over a busy city. To call a taxi we used "pick me" app. It is very cheap and useful.

Every thing was great and same as what mentioned on Airbnb. The only negative is only 3 bedrooms have AC out of 5. Kitchen has everything needed for cooking and they provide all the eminities like toothbrush, toothpaste, bath towel,etc. The location was great, it had a supermarket in walking distance. overall a decent stay.

Geat place that we can recommend. It's located 40 minutes from the Kandy city centre. If you’re coming from Colombo Fort, get off at Peredeniya Station and not at Kandy. Host was kind enough to give me taxi driver's number as services like PickMe and Uber are not reliable in small towns. You'll need a dedicated driver. The views from the property are amazing, and the internet works well. Just a small note: you will be staying with the hosts, so it’s not an entire home as listed on Airbnb.

We had an amazing Airbnb experience at this gorgeous villa in the suburbs of Kandy. Manju and his wife were excellent hosts who made us feel incredibly welcome from the start. Upon arrival, we were greeted with freshly harvested king coconut drinks straight from the garden—a wonderful touch. After a brief tour of the property and a helpful demonstration, we had full privacy to enjoy the villa to ourselves. Manju kindly collected us from the airport, which was much appreciated after an exhausting 8-hour journey. The following morning, he even dropped us into Kandy city to meet our tour guide, going above and beyond to make our stay convenient and enjoyable. Manju’s local knowledge and personable nature added so much value to our trip. As a bonus, we got a free tour of his workplace at a gem and jewellery museum, which was both fascinating and informative. I highly recommend staying at this Airbnb—it’s a truly memorable experience with exceptional hosts!

It’s a good olden days style house, main advantage is of location, it is close to the city center. Flexible check in and out.

My friends and I have been travelling for several months and this is one of the best properties we have stayed in. There was initial confusion regarding the booking but Dammi was super accommodating to make it work for us. The property is equipped with everything one would need for a peaceful stay. There is a very large TV with Netflix and Prime with a very comfortable sofa. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is also fully equipped to cook meals for several people easily. I would highly recommend this property to any group looking for a high end property in Kandy. Also the distance to the lake is less than 10 minutes in a tuk tuk therefore the location is both peaceful and convenient.

The accomodation was great. The owner was very nice, she took good care of us and did her best. We got amazing dinner and breakfast . The beds were great, super chat. Thank you !

The hosts were very polite and helpful…However, it is a shared space with the family and shared kitchen which may be an issue for few…. Overall a good place to stay …..
