Highly recommend this apartment it is in a beautiful old building with a modern interior very tastefully furnished of the best quality. Located at the base of the castle with its own parking and a short walk across the bridge to the town. Many restaurants and cafes to choose from up in the castle and further around the apartment. Could not have been happier with our three nights in Carcassone.

I'd say this is THE place to stay in Carcassonne for any couple. 7 minute walk uphill to the main gate of the castle (or you can scramble up the escarpment to a slightly closer hole in the wall). It's in the Trivalle neighborhood which has several blocks of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores. The hosts are the most helpful hosts you could want. What you don't fully get from online description is how unique this building is - it is one of the oldest buildings in town built in the early 1600s that they have been personally renovating into apartments. The only thing it doesn't have is outside space which wasn't a problem because we just went out to the neighborhood cafes. I believe you can request some access but I believe that will become tricky once all the units are renovated.

We found the garden to be a big plus. The view into it, through the French doors, really opened up the space. My husband especially enjoyed the entrance, from the street to the apartment door. It felt very old world, European, authentic. The location was ideal, just a block or so from Place Carnot. The apartment was small but fine for a couple. It had everything we needed and was very clean.

100/10 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely recommend this property- it was better than perfect. Elodie and Odile were friendly, helpful and fantastic hosts. The apartment is better than I had expected- even more beautiful and spacious than the photographs show! It is so central, a five minute walk from all the main amenities. The kitchen is spotless and has everything you might need. There is no lift on the property, but it is only on the second floor, and the stairs are steep but manageable. I would visit Carcassonne again just to stay in this AirBnB, the apartment was a holiday in itself!! My partner and I truly cannot recommend it enough, we will definitely stay again!!!

From booking the apartment to the day we returned home everything was perfect! Excellent communication and guidance from the hosts; superb location; beautiful apartment (with literally EVERYTHING you would ever need); a fantastic sunny terrace and a relaxing steam room. We absolutely loved Carcassonne but it was made extra special by staying in this wonderful apartment. Many thanks to our amazing hosts, I would give you a million star review if I could!

Very good apartment, spacious and comfortable and very clean. Good communication with Serge. The area is good, about a 25-minute walk to the fortress.

First Aribnb experience for us, and we're not disappointed! Very nice house, comfortable and neat. Maryline was able to adapt to our needs. We were with our children aged 20 months and 4 years, very well equipped on site, it is quite suitable. The house is right next to the city, perfect location!

Nice house, great place

We had a great stay! The house was very comfortable, with lots of games and puzzles. Our kids were delighted! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. We really enjoyed discovering Bram and the surrounding area. We'd happily return! Audrey was always responsive and checked in to make sure everything was ok.

We had a great Easter time with my friends and children in this cottage. The park is beautiful and allows children and adults to enjoy the amenities (pétanque, swing, trampoline). The annex room, very large, allows you to eat together, to play billiards, darts, foosball, without disturbing those looking for calm. In short, the we were too pleasant. We'll probably come back to that.

This place is so well equipped and laid out. It is a perfect family stay for all ages to relax and enjoy. We went out some days but to be honest we didn’t need to, we were so happy just being at the house and relaxing, playing games, eating food etc. we loved every minute of it. Sa is a fabulous host and was so helpful always.

Very nice comfortable cottage, with the character of the old. The outdoor area is nice with access to the pool, very large and clean, and a barbecue. I had a great week with my friends.

We enjoyed a wonderful few days with Bart & Anjo. An excellent apartment with everything you need. Especially a very well equipped kitchen. There’s lots to do in this very lovely regions, well worth a visit. Some big tourist attractions but equally we spent a couple of days on a mystery tour, always good fun and great to sample local life. Thank you for your hospitality, perfect.

Both Marc and his wife is very pleasant and kind people, welcome was warm! The apartment is very spacious and tidy and clean, everything is in order and arranged to the last detail. The shop next door and a bakery within walking distance is very practical. Going on vacation should always be carefree, so this is definitely the case here!!

Lovely quiet spot, within easy driving of lots of historic sites and the beach (50 mins approx), public tennis court in Ferrals de Corbieres (10 mins) - if you are feeling energetic. It's great to have access to the pool and barbeque area for days when you just want to hang out. There are nice walks around Moux itself. The Mansenoble wines (red only) are definitely worth trying, too.

The chateaux preserves the original features, with a huge room, well decorated and full kitchen. The garden is pleasant with easy parking on both access streets. Excellent bakery just steps away from the chateaux. I intend to return to enjoy the wonderful Tuesday fair. The region is very beautiful, especially Minerve and Canal du Midi. I loved cycling around the area. Chateaux is beautiful! Thank you for everything!
