We really enjoyed our time here. The communication was great throughout the whole stay and they helped us to organize coffee and bikes which was great. Kitchen has nice pans and pots to cook and the rooms were clean with a well functioning air condition. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Aaron's place was a great value for our stay. He was always responsive and friendly, and the villa was really spacious and had sufficient equipment for a comfortable stay. The few hiccups that we had during our stay were solved by Aaron very quickly.

We had such a wonderful stay. We would highly recommend to anyone. The house was beautiful and the accommodations were lovely. The staff was warm and organized horse carriages to pick us up from the dock. Complementary bicycles were so great and they even helped to organize a smaller bicycle for my daughter the house is walking distanceor just a two or three minute bike ride to the beach. The island is incredibly small so it doesn’t really matter what side of the island you are on because the whole island is accessible by bicycle.

The hosts are lovely and welcoming. The villa is lovely and clean. Would highly recommend to future visitors.

Absolutely stunning, idyllic oasis in the centre of the island. Little paths weave across Gili Air for a quick bike ride in any direction, choose your beach, choose your restaurant - that’s the hardest part of being on this island. So many to choose from! Start your day at the coffee roasters cafe 1 minute away - they do matcha too :-) End your day in the lush pool staring up at the stars. Charlie, the housekeeper, is so friendly and helpful, truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Thanks Charlie for organising our luggage, massages in the villa, snorkling, the medic, everything! Can’t wait to return to this peaceful island

Villa Batu Sisi was a wonderful home for our family of five for a month. The staff (the original crew since opening in 2009), are darling. So sweet and unobtrusive. Our kids loved them too. The pool is great. It was very quiet and private. We all slept well. The garden is absolutely gorgeous, and the house had all we needed. All questions or issues were resolved promptly by the team. Would HIGHLY recommend the in-house chef!! We had Wayan and her assistant come 4 times. The kids loved helping in the kitchen, and the food was delicious. They even took us to the market to buy ingredients for our meal one week. What an experience!!! Internet and AC worked great the whole time. Would highly recommend and would stay again! Our only issue was not having much to walk to, but it was Ramadan so maybe there is usually more open???

This house was great for our family stay. The hosts are accessible and helpful. Kitchen well equipped. The home is private and in a rural part of the island - next to horse and cow paddocks, which meant the home felt secure and peaceful (the mosque can be heard from here - similar to all over the island). Pool is clean (cleaned daily) and lighting at night quite magical. Overall very happy.

This is a great retreat on Gili Air. The Gili Air beach and the Slow Villa is the perfect combination for a typical Gili day! We had the Slow Double Villa as family with three kids for four nights and we really enjoyed our stay! What a wonderful atmosphere for a vacation... one thing though: think the bike rental should be included in the price.

Brilliant Hotel on a picturesque tropical island. 5 star, Only improvements would be to replace towels more often bath and beach, Breakfast was good but other high quality places in walking distance, Staff were excellent and very friendly.

The place has a lot of charm, the view and the sunset are breathtaking! The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I can fully recommend those villas. Villa looks better than photo. It’s located in death road so it’s super quiet- of course you can hear mosques but you’ll heard it on whole island (because is small :-D ). Host is very friendly and helpful.

Nice house, nice location. Pool was a highlight, and perfect temperature for constant use. Gili Air is so small that everything was easy to ride a rental bike to. Host was helpful and responsive.

Our stay here was very nice. The view and the setting of the Villa was great. Also we felt very welcomed by one of the staff member who made sure to clean our rooms and the villa everyday. He helped us with getting motorcycles and a driver when we left as well. He was very nice and respectful of our privacy even though he was always close by when we needed him. He really helped us out a lot. We enjoyed our time here much and wished we could’ve stayed longer.

Overall great place, clean and looks like the photos. Very close to turtle point and saw quite a few turtles snorkelling from here! The staff at the place are friendly and nice to have breakfast included. The walk to the harbour and Main Street felt a bit far in the heat but it means you were closer to the beach that way. Nice netting over the bed, no lizards in the room only a few mosquitos.

Bargain airbnb in a great location. The villa is comfortable and spacious with a lot of facilities (the washing machine was especially useful). Shops, restaurants and the beach are a 5 minute walk away. Can easily get a grab/gojek/bluebird to other beaches. It would be good to be provided with a key for the door to the living room for extra security but the neighbourhood seemed very safe.

I met Ameer in Sembelia on a scooter ride and he invited me to the accommodation. I immediately liked Ameer and when I arrived there 2 days later I was completely overwhelmed. The location and accommodation are so incredibly beautiful, extremely clean, the family are good people at heart, who speak English very well. One thing that I personally liked extremely well was the kitchen, which I was also allowed to use, which is why I felt at home even faster. On the second day, I cooked with Jihat, Ameer's brother, for the family. Everyone can speak English very well, there are board games and nature right next to the house offers an extremely large number of possibilities to spend the day. Jungle tours are offered, where you can watch how palm sugar is made, cooking classes are also offered in the jungle, there are many rivers just 5 minutes' walk away where you can swim. Extended 3 times
