Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Pelekas

From before we arrived Alexandros was communicative and helpful. The house is fantastic. To arrive & have food and drink in the fridge, and other treats, felt very special. They really have thought of everything and more. I can’t get over the view. Absolutely stunning. And to hear the sea lapping up on the shore. The walk to the almost deserted beach isn’t easy but well worth it. You definitely deserve a cold drink on return! (Sturdy trainers recommended). Clearest water I’ve seen for a long while. And you have to build at least one flat pebble tower. It’s quite addictive… Star watching (& bat watching). The cats are wonderful and we grew very attached to them. Alessandros’s parents are always on hand and have lots of useful info on where to eat, and places to visit. And they are very lovely too. We only had a short 5 day break, but feel refreshed & rested (& quite toned from that hill!). Would highly recommend without any doubts. If only everywhere one booked was as good as this.

The place we stayed at was something we could only dream of. A small house with an incredible view, together with an amazing pool. The house was very private. Victoria is a great host and person. All communication was very fast and polite. Might go again in the future

Sinerades is an authentic, beautiful village with mini markets, restaurants and a pharmacy. Even without your own vehicle, you can do a lot. Sonia and her husband are happy to help and are very friendly. We felt very comfortable.

Great place to stay, the apartment was bigger than expected. We also liked that there were all the necessities in the kitchen ans a washing machine. We especially enjoyed the private terrace with the jacuzzi. One of the sun beds was broken but got immediately replaced. Thank you so much:)

the apartment was very clean and welcoming. we had everything we needed. I loved waking you to the sound of cockerals and the birds and the garden is beautiful, about a 6 minute drive to the closest beach. There is also a lake nearby. I had hired a rental car so we could get to other areas and this is wise as this apartment is set away from the busy areas. The area is so peaceful and Nick was very helpful when I needed help with my phones WiFi and data! Nicks Mum was also very helpful and around when we needed her. All in all we had a lovely stay, and I would highly recommend coming here. Hopefully we will come back next year :) Thanks Nick and his Mum, we had a lovely stay!

The apartment is located in a beautiful, old and very quiet village. In the center of the village there is a small bar/restaurant with tables on the village square and a very delicious and cheap culinary offer. The apartment corresponds to the description and we felt very comfortable.

We had a wonderful time at Marina's place and felt very comfortable! The location right on the water is simply a dream and you can hardly believe your eyes when you wake up in the morning and look directly at the sea from the bed. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need on vacation. Our highlight was the SUP boards we were allowed to use to paddle on the water. Marina gave us great tips for the island and the surrounding area and her mother was always on site as a contact person. We highly recommend the place ☺️

It was a breathtaking stay, the girlfriend enjoyed it and I also felt like a home for both of us. You felt very comfortable. Would definitely like to come back.

She was so welcoming! They let us check in early after a long day of travel and the place was beautifully located in the centre town about a 10 minute walk. Will come again!

Wow! What a great spot in a cute little beach town that is quiet and less crowded than most on the pristine western side of Corfu. TWO cold ACs will have your unit as low as 63F in the peak of summer heat, and honestly that's a prerequisite for me. You know how funny Europeans are about air conditioning, and sadly a lot of ABnBs have crappy ACs that don't work. And let me tell you, there's nothing quite like the feeling of opening the door to a wall of ICE COLD air after a fun day baking in the 100 degree mediterranean sun! The unit is clean, has an incredible large balcony where you can take in the fresh sea breeze in the mornings, and the beaches are fairly low-key and not as busy as some in towns further north. If you're on the fence, grab this unit ASAP before it books!

We stayed a week in the small but very nice apartment. We felt very comfortable. Especially the terrace and the immediate location on the beach are great. Glyfada Beach itself doesn't have much to offer. However, it is a very good starting point to explore the island by rental car. The beach is very clean, clear water and fine sand. It goes in pleasantly shallow and there is no strong current. The apartment is quite small, but very nice. In bad weather, you can do little in the apartment. Drying towels is just as difficult because there is hardly any circulation. We used the terrace for this and the fence to the neighbor - fortunately the apartment next door was uninhabited. One way to hang the laundry would be great and is certainly easy to retrofit. The apartment itself was clean. However, a few traces of the walls left by the previous tenants (presumably mosquitoes) could be removed. Communication was very good! 5 stars

The peaceful and private location right at the water's edge is unbeatable. You can have breakfast and dinner in the garden, use the sun-loungers and go swimming in crystal clear water. Sotirios gave us a lot of helpful information on sightseeing off the beaten track. Restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance if you don't have a car. We would love to come back.

Fantastic place to stay in Corfu! Persefoni & Kostas were amazing and always available to assist me with any needs that I had. The room is comfortable, clean, and comes with a GORGEOUS view. I will be back! :)

Athina’s air bnb was so amazing- it was a cozy loft right in the centre of old town. She was very responsive to our messages and provided very clear instructions. Highly recommend :)

Amazing trip. We didn’t have a car but the buses into town run from the end of the road and were really easy. Anastasia and Alan were super helpful even giving us a lift to Benitses one evening. Their place is immaculate and very tranquil.

This has been my favourite air BnB so far. I loved everything about it. The apartment is modern uncluttered spotlessly clean and in a perfect position. I travelled alone and chose to use the bedroom with two tiny balconies. Both with a different outlook. It was a treat to sit with a breeze watching the swallows over the old town.

Villa Plaka is a jewel among Airbnbs. We had a wonderful few days in Afionas. The decor is exactly as shown in the pictures. Everything is tastefully furnished with a lot of love for detail. There was nothing missing. The many terraces with the breathtaking view - priceless. The seclusion & tranquility is a boon for body and mind. The communication went great, great excursion tips and restaurant recommendations included. We are absolutely thrilled! Absolutely recommended!!! ♥️

Romina’s place was just perfect for my week in Corfu! I was traveling solo so I appreciated the detailed instructions to locate her place. The sea view is stunning and you are just outside of Old Town where everything is walkable. You immediately feel welcome and at home with all the special Corfu treats she has waiting for you - so generous! Romina was super responsive and helpful. I can’t say enough about staying here, I only wish I could’ve stayed longer. My highest recommendation!!

Xanthis communication is great. Really responsive and helpful For example she helped with car hire. Her welcome is warm and she provides lots of info about the town. The apartment is as the photos show. Spotlessly clean and well appointed with everything you might need What the photos do not show is the views from the balconies and roof terrace which are amazing! The apartment is in a great location. It is 20 mins walk to almost everything. The old town,the liston, the fort, the museums and the beaches The museums are to be recommended particularly the Byzantine and Asian. Corfu town is the perfect mix of culture, night life and the beach. I would recommend it as a destination and Xanthi is the perfect host. Thank you

This is a lovely place to stay: bright and airy with a marvellous view out onto the sea. It's at the edge of the old town, so it's really quick and easy (especially with the help of your phone) to find your way around. The Faliraki beach is a five minute walk if you need a quick swim and there are plenty of nice places to eat all around. Apostolia could not have been more helpful with instructions, advice and recommendations. We had a wonderful holiday there.
