This house is across the street from the beautiful, long, sand Papamoa beach! Also walking distance to restaurants and surf board rentals and lessons! we loved loved loved the house. It has beautiful old wood floors, a claw foot tub, and lots of antique details. It also has front and rear decks - wonderful for outside dining - we had breakfast in the front in the sun, and dinner at the nice table in the back. We will stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the tiny house of James and Michelle. The house is beautifully located, just a few minutes by foot to hotwater beach. It also offers a nice outdoor space to have breakfast or just relax. We used the e-bikes to get to cathedral cove and they worked smoothly. We had a great time and can recommend this accomodation to anyone.

Jessie's place is conveniently located between two busy spots for restaurants 🍣 🍔 and amenities in Papamoa Beach - an easy bike ride along traffic free paths, or via a stroll along the beach ⛱️ - also close to bus 🚌 routes to get you to Tauranga or Maunganui. The house has great facilities for keeping cool, a lovely deck with huge parasol and a brilliant heatpump inside. Jessie left us a lovely note on our arrival and the document explaining where to bike 🚲, surf 🌊 and enjoy the local area was brilliant! The yard was great for our Golden Retriever 🐶, fully fenced with good shade areas under the colossal olive 🫒 tree - with beach or path walks galore!

The house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and was in an amazing location. There was plenty of space for everyone to lounge and relax, and we loved how close it was to the beach and great cafes in town. There is a small Four Square supermarket about 10 mins walking distance which has plenty of supplies (including Mount Sourdough Co bread!) and a larger New World supermarket that was a short drive away. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook meals at home, and for coffee making had both a French press and a coffee pod machine and a milk steamer. The Mount Surf Co sells coffee pods from Flight Coffee and was our favorite place to restock the pods. We loved our stay and would definitely return :)

We stayed for 2 weeks in Sarah and James’ place. The cottage was simple but comfortable. The basic kitchen was very adequate for the food preparation we did over our stay. Highlights were the spectacular views and cozy living room with terrific fireplace (wood burning stove) that we used on most nights. Sarah was very responsive and recommended several beautiful hikes and walking trails that started from their pasture land and went up a mountain for great views and meandered beside the local river. Waihi, the nearest town for shopping, was 15 minutes drive. Waihi Beach, a beautiful beach for relaxing, swimming, and walking was uncrowded and about 25 minutes drive. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our time here. Sharlene was helpful and we had no problems finding the house or while we were there The kitchen was supplied with so many extras including basic food items and cooking equipment etc. All the bedrooms were super comfortable and overall we felt totally at home. A special family time for us all. It rained the whole time we were there but we embraced the quiet and loved the bird life. A family of Tuis in the enormous Puriri tree kept us entertained! I would totally recommend to anyone.

Beautiful house a short distance from the beach, cafes, bars, restaurants and Mt Maunganui where the view is ace. The house has everything you need for a very comfortable stay (we did 9 nights). Stand out restaurant nearby was Solero. Saltwater bar for relaxing & happy 2 hour cocktails, beer and Taittinger 😊 Brew Co for a great selection of beers. Sea People for ice cream. Friendly hosts too. Recommended.

This place is a gem. We were so happy with the place. To be honest the photos do not do it justice, as it is awesome. Took the dogs, fully fenced, clean, modern. And the shower was the best ever. Eileen’s house at Opito Bay is fabulous!! absolutely stunning location right on the beach at the south end. The house is very spacious, especially the kitchen lounge dining area which is all open plan. Great also to have the sleep out if you have a couple of extra people with its own toilet, and amazing outdoor shower amongst the trees, well you can take a shower and look at the view, idyllic ! Big covered out outdoor deck on the backside of the house which is gives options if the weather is not good. The house is very modern and immaculate. Will definitely be back!!

Gaewyn’s place was kept beautifully inside and out! They are both lovely people to stay around and chat withand had the additional bonus of Miles (dog) who was always there to greet us when we returned home. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I can back to New Zealand ☺️

Super easy walk to the beach, we loved using the big beach trolley to get to and from with all the gear. Amazing location! This place is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I can't recommend it enough. We booked it for a night for a hens party and the look on guests faces when they arrived was priceless. Such a hidden gem in Katikati, and well worth the drive there if you are considering staying. The house was spectacular and so accommodating to a large group of people, with a lovely courtyard for outdoor activities. The little cottages were also a lovely surprise for guests and so well maintained. Laura's communication was also excellent. I would love to visit again one day. . . and stay for a week!

The Villa is super stunning and rustic with all and more than needed ammenities. Our group thoroughly enjoyed spending an evening here.
