Villa vacation rentals in Paredes de Coura

We would like to thank Architect Paulo Gomes for the sympathy and attention with which we were received in his magnificent villa in Monção, through the Airbnb platform. It was truly well spent days, in a fantastic space where there was nothing missing. The villa has excellent conditions, which exceeded our expectations, providing unique moments of comfort and leisure. As a constructive suggestion, and with all due respect, we believe it could be even more enjoyable if hosts made us slightly more at ease, avoiding going around the house while our group was present. Anyway, this is just a light recommendation, as everything else was just fantastic. We reiterate our thanks and congratulate us on the wonderful villa and hospitality.

We enjoyed Maria's very spacious house. It is a pleasant house that is decorated with a lot of love and attention. Lots of bedrooms with an attached bathroom and also several seating areas at the house. Outside, the garden is very spacious, with a lovely swimming pool and a delightful whirlpool. So also a larger group can easily stay here! Maria and Sonia are very nice and sweet hosts with whom it is very easy to communicate with! Sonia even came by for a personal tour of the house, which was nice. And both gave a lot of tips about the area and were always ready for us. We had a lovely week!

We spent a few great days as a family in this nice house: the pool, the garden, the different rooms of the house and the proximity to the ecovìa. A very peaceful and harmonious place to spend a few days Highly recommended

A peaceful nourishing stay. The grounds of the property have stunning Oak trees felt held and nature nourished here. All was just as description Joana friendly helpful and efficient. Get the GPS settings was easy to find with those. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Rx

We felt very well attended to x Edgar, who in this case was the person responsible for the house. She was very friendly and left everything perfectly tidy, clean and with directions for routes and walks. The house is a charm...and the fireplace heats a thousand wonders! HIGHLY recommended!!

The stay was amazing. From the ample space to its great location, calm and reserved. The house provided a variety of utensils, super complete and with incredible decoration. What was most surprising was its cleanliness and the use of space. It is a private and spacious place, great for gatherings and pets. The hosts were very attentive and the house had everything we needed to have a nice stay.

We’ve been coming here for the past 10 years and love Quinta de Varzea. Isobel and Manuel are fantastic hosts, the apartment is beautiful and the pool is just simply great! Tranquil, peaceful and serene and if you need a bit more Caminha and Valencia nearby are worth exploring. We hope to be back next year!

We had a lovely stay, there were 6 of us, spacious house, with everything we needed to feel at home. The environment is relaxing, beautiful view. Close to Arcos de Valdevez by car ( 5 min) Thank you so much for the exceptional hospitality to Joâo and her family. I would recommend it in a second. Thank you for everything.

Maria’s 5-bed villa in is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the love and attention to detail she’s poured into every corner. The villa is immaculately clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern comforts throughout. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, making our stay seamless and relaxing. The views are simply breathtaking—perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. It’s clear Maria cares deeply about creating a warm, welcoming space, and it shows. One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had! The weather was a bit chilly so unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the lovely pool and bbq. But I’m defo coming back to this very place. Obrigado Maria.

It was a pleasure to spend a few days in Ralf's place. It's a wonderful house in a unique setting!! We had the bad luck that during all our days it rained a lot but thanks to the comforts of the house we were able to spend it fantastically and enjoy each space. But the best part was certainly not the house, nor was the environment Ana and Ralf who were aware of us at all times. Thank you for that💖💖

Fantastic accommodation. Beautiful gardens, pool and house. Marcus is a very good host, and looked after us so well - bringing us little gifts like fresh orange juice just made the experience so much better. One of our children really wanted to keep a huge lemon he’d found in the garden but we told him he would have to ask. Instead of just saying no, or yes, Marcus said “sure, but why don’t we make some lemonade together!”. Just so thoughtful and kind. The house is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. Lots of attention to detail. Pool is very large and everything is perfectly clean. Marcus and Rick really did go out of their way to ensure our stay was successful without ever being intrusive, so please don’t hesitate to book!

A wonderful property. The pool was amazing. We had everything we needed. Luis was great in answering questions we had. He looked after the pool maintenance while we were there. Would love to come back again.

The villa is incredible, breathtaking from the moment you step in. The photos cannot do it justice. We only made two trips out (apart from food shopping) because we had no need or want to leave. The space is fantastic and every room is beautiful. If you are interested in sports it caters for everything there is an indoor games hall which has almost everything you could desire. This includes the tennis racquets for the court. The pool is wonderful and very relaxing - if you’re lucky you’ll get visits from the swallows as we did. As mentioned by the host and a few reviews you will need a car to get there and to get around but it’s a great way to explore the area when you do decide to go out. We ran around the area, did some hill sprint sessions and also some HIIT sessions within the villa ground. You can do everything. There are also lots of great beaches around the area some of which are suggested in Fernando’s welcome book and one of the ones we visited. Fernando and Pedro were great hosts very helpful and always at the end of the phone should we require anything. Relaxed, helpful and humorous. You are also provided with a welcome book which has lots of information about things you can do, where you can go and how to do them! 5* all the way. A perfect place for a getaway with friends and I imagine family too. I don’t doubt we will be back to visit in the future.

we were a group of 10 people and spent the weekend during the famous Sra D'Agonia festivities. The house is extremely comfortable, the staff very helpful. it was amazing to be so close to the center of Viana to enjoy several events but also have a base where we could enjoy time in the pool, cook, and eat as a group of friends. the piano was a very nice plus. an element of our group plays and it felt so much more intimate to be able to enjoy him playing for us.

Great place to stay with family and friends. Beautifully decorated with original Portuguese objects, this old house has a interesting history and soul. Additionally, you have at your disposal the modern swimming pool, tennis court and very well maintained park. Perfect option to chill out and discover beautiful region of Northern Portugal.

Stunning new build villa, filled with everything you could possibly need for a brilliantly relaxed stay. They have thought of everything - it’s very comfortable, squeaky clean and with lots of quirky little bits to make you smile. The pool, outside area and office are a real bonus. All the white goods look and run as new and there are enough TVs and WiFi routers to fill any child or working parent with joy. Location is fab - quietly down a lovely road but 5 mins walk to a fabulous beach and 10 mins walk to some amazing restaurants specialising in fish but with lots of other stuff. 5 stars xxx.

Very nice house, Av a very large green area all around. Very quiet and relaxing. There are plenty of games available. I highly recommend in summer and winter

Beautiful modern construction in a rural setting overlooking pastures and the valley below. Multiple and versatile outdoor areas with two patios and pool deck. Very quiet area without traffic noise, yet only a couple minutes from town and all its amenities. Andre is very quickly responsive in all communications.

This place was amazing, had a panic getting it booked And finding it with the Big Power outage that took place for over 6 hrs. Host was really helpful and we stayed an extra day as it was so nice. highly recommend this place

Oh we loved our stay! So peaceful and relaxing just what we needed! Maria’s place was so very clean, and her mom was so sweet! We were left a bag of fresh tomatoes and apples from her garden. We enjoyed cooking in the equipped kitchen, washing machine is a bonus, hung our clothes to dry, and soaked in the rays in the beautiful surroundings. Very attentive, lovely hosts. Would highly recommend! Thank you so very much!

We loved our stay. A beautiful, quiet, spacious house with a lovely private pool area. Yes there are a couple of steps to get up to the pool but nothing too hard and so worth it. The view from the pool was unbelievable. Our host Fatima was incredibly kind and so responsive to any questions we had. We didn’t have a hire car and Fatima kindly drove us to the supermarket a couple of times and even dropped myself and my partner off to the train station when we left. My suitcase was lost and I only had 1 outfit for 2 days until it arrived, Fatima gave me some washing machine detergent to wash my clothes. So kind and generous. The house was lovely, spacious, clean and private. The photos do not do the property justice, it was really beautiful. It was really warm outside and we barely used the air con as the house was pretty cool anyway.

This house is exceptional, Fatima and Éloi are great hosts too. Impeccable house, very large , great location and great view. The pool is perfect and you can enjoy the environment and the landscape at any time. The house is very well-equipped, comfort +++. Exceptional and warm welcome: fruit platters, cheese, charcuterie and traditional cake, fresh orange juice. Fatima also gives us information about my local events. the area is great , Galicia is nearby as well. I really recommend Fatima and Eloi's place, our family stay was great .

Simply perfect! We loved our stay. The house is beautiful, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, with a very large outdoor kitchen. The pool is also wonderful, always kept clean with a pleasant temperature. A beautiful and very relaxing garden. A big thank you to the wonderful owners who are very welcoming and very kind, always attentive and concerned about our well-being. There may be some initial apprehension about having to share certain common areas but on the contrary, the owners managed to make us feel at home and we enjoyed our exchanges. We created some great memories with you and thank you. A very nice meeting and an exceptional stay. We would recommend it in a second and we will certainly be back as well. Thanks again Roma!

A large house with nice antique furniture in some rooms, ideal for a stay with family or friends. It has all the essentials for a comfortable stay. What impressed me the most was the garden with its vineyard over 100 years old and its exotic trees (lemon tree, orange tree, mandarinnier and also a tree that I did not know yet "the tomato tree" (tamarillo). The garden is fully enclosed which is great if you are traveling with a dog. Elsa is very friendly and although I don't speak Portuguese, the communication went very well. The neighborhood is quiet and with lovely houses.
