Family-friendly vacation rentals in Paralia Vergas

An amazing castle like home over a very large olive gorge overlooking the ocean. Absolutely stunning scenery all around us. Home had all the amenities one would hope for and then some. Very large space for our family of 9. Pool and hot tub were a hit plus tons of games including foosball and ping ball. The upper deck was perfect for sunsets. And while we did not use they had this amazing wood fire BBQ and sitting area one could use. The location was great. We were basically on side of mountain in a secluded area but close enough to small villages and beaches. Lots of tavernas within 10 mins…4 tavernas within 1/4 mile (although 2 were closed due to slow season). Getting into Kalamata city center was about 25 mins and well worth it. Ann provided several suggestions on her Airbnb page. While there is taxi service i would highly recommend having your own vehicle Ann has a local host, Joanna, helping out and was super helpful and very responsive. Don’t hesitate to rent this place!

We had been travelling for 3 weeks and we arrived in Chrani, Peloponnese by bus very tired and looking for total relaxation for a good few days. We 100% achieved this. The view was stunning, the sea was flat like velvet and in the distance the beautiful mountains. The free umbrella’s & sun loungers on the beach a great add on & the peace and quiet was just what we needed. The sea is crystal clear & once in you don’t want to come out. The lady who cleaned was fabulous, changing sheets and towels/beach towels every 3 days, sweeping, changing bin bags & mopping everyday. She was truly a star. The other guests were people that have been coming to the same apartments for many years. Meeting friends they have met before. Very friendly, relaxed, chilled & highly recommend if you want to experience peace and quiet & beautiful scenery

Don’t hesitate to book, such a beautiful spot. The flat is elegant and even better than photos. The terrace looks out over the new town of Mystras and the stunning hill and ruins of old Mystras and around to Sparta. Easy to get there and visit sites by car. Old Mystras is fascinating ..visit early morning for the castle and go back later in the day to avoid the coach tours .. Sparta although modern is also well worth visiting ..especially restaurant En Hapti. To sit under the scented jasmine with great food . The flat is completely self contained, spacious enough for two couples and private, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Spyros is lovely and lives in the basement quietly and has a gorgeous dog called Roody. If in the area this is a truly magical place to stay. Thank you Spyros so much for sharing it.

Both the accommodation, as well as the location and the beautiful village with a fantastic tavern exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and came to rest here in Drosopigi as a family. Thank you very much!

We have to say this has been the best accommodation we have ever had in Greece. The grounds are excellent and well maintained. Indoor and outdoor dining areas. The villa is large and equipped with everything you need. Two smaller bathrooms (en-suite) but adequate for what you need. One large bathroom including spa bath. Private undercover parking and electric gates to enter grounds. It was perfect and Elias and family were around if we needed them. Love, love, love.

The house was clean and comfortable, with a wonderful garden. Elias gave us great tips about the area and was available whenever we needed anything.

Everything was perfect the dance was great and clean and the host friendly and helpful!

We only had one night in Finikountia but it was made incredibly memorable by this lovely apartment and in particular by Maria's warm welcome.. she made us feel like old friends and we felt very sorry to say goodbye.

Anastasios's home was comfortable, with exquisite views, safe parking, a short drive to Gythio town and a range of sights and restaurants, but also walking distance to 2 great tavernas in the local village. His restaurant recommendations and suggestions for things to do were excellent. We would definitely love to visit again.

Beautiful house made out of rock in the heart of Taygetos' mountain. The nature around it is amazing and there are many pathways if you want to explore the mountain. Pantelis was a great host and the whole experience was amazing.

Amazing home in a quiet and convenient location. This is a real home place- all of the special furnishings, art, and photos make this home more special. It is a walk to Gytheion and the beach in Mavrovouni Beach, about 30 minutes each way and obviously the way back is uphill- but a very nice walk (especially after eating a big meal). This area is so nice and peaceful. Avra provides anything you may need at the home- towels, cooking essentials, food, snacks and drinks! What a great place to stay!

Accommodation was fine, the place was clean, everything ok!

The property is in a quiet environment the bedrooms are very comfortable, a prominent advantage that the pool is built inside the house and can be used in any weather and prevents the entry of insects. The space is not large but gives value and pampering.

Words can't describe this place and Dia our hostess. Before we got there, Dia went above and beyond to help us with our plans, both on our travel there and during our stay. From the minute we stepped in we felt right at home. Everything you need is there and the surroundings are simply magnificent. From the view from the apartment to the private beach below. It was everything we could ask for. A true paradise we would like to keep to ourselves for future trips.. and of course Dia who made our vacation even more enjoyable and made sure we have everything we need. Thank you Dia!

My best recommendations! A beautiful and charming place - wonderful pool, view and garten.

We had an amazing stay. We had the ground floor apartment of a three storey property where Stathis family resides- even though this was the case, we had our own privacy to the grounds and the pool. The family were extremely lovely and we hardly saw them. The property was spotless and the grounds were extremely beautiful and peaceful with the fruit and herb trees surrounding the property. The kids had a great time in the pool. We loved our stay and we loved Kalamata!

We had a fabulous few days at the end of our road trip, a great place to relax. The location is fantastic, just a short walk away from the tavernas and shops. The apartment contained everything you could need including the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The pool was warm, situated in a lovely well kept garden with beautiful lighting at night. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived and it was great knowing that Eleni was close by in case we needed anything - but we didn’t! Highly recommended. Greece at its best ❤️🇬🇷

We enjoyed the beautiful house of Frasier very much. The house is clean and has everything you would want. The area is beautiful and quiet. The nearby village is nice, with friendly people and good food.

What a wonderful place with great hosts! The location is amazing with beautiful views of the bay. At night it was so peaceful that we could hear the wildlife. Fiona and Dimitris are lovely hosts, always responsive, and so helpful, which made us feel at home straight away. The local village is only 5mins by car, with lovely restaurants right at the beach. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!
