We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, with a fantastic view, especially at night when the stars came out. We loved the BBQ area and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Modern, clean with everything we needed, located within beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Just a 10-15 walk to the lakefront cafes and shops. We loved waking up to the sounds of natives birds.

The kids loved the loft! It had a washer and a dryer which helped because we didn’t have time to hang things out to dry as we were only staying one night. Great little place and received a warm welcome when we got there!

Home away from home! We absolutely loved this Airbnb and would recommend. Not only is it in a great spot, but they have thought of everything to make your stay easier. No need to buy those bits and bobs that you need to take home, they have it covered. The spa was a treat, the bath had bath bombs and salts, even the guest book was well put together. Really can’t wait to return!

Amazing little find! So much to do. Stayed here for Christmas and had the best time! Will 100 percent be back in the near future. Possum is an absolute legend! He went out of his way to cut down a Christmas tree and even drove into town to grab decorations for us on arrival! Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Place was perfect for us for a long holiday . The location was perfect and the house had enough space for all of us and for the dogs . Yard was great and loved the privacy and the area. Did not realize how beautiful the place was until we went for walks and explored . So close to the lake and to great swimming spots. Would love to come back.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location! We have 3 kids and this was the perfect house for them! They had so much fun playing in the pool and in the playground. The house was beautifully remodeled and in a great location with beautiful mountain views. The host was very flexible and responsive, which we truly appreciated. Arrowtown is an adorable, charming little town just outside of Queenstown and I would highly recommend both the area and the house!!!

A beautiful home with a truly spectacular view!! It felt so peaceful to sit in front of the fireplace and just look out over the lake. It was more than enough space for the 5 of us to really relax. Hot tub was a great bonus!

Awesome place that literally has everything. Highlights were the sauna, hot spa, pool table and fireplace after snowboarding each day. Super close to The Remarkables and Coronet plus we drove an hour up to Corona and drive was easy. Highly recommended!

I really appreciated the host putting so much love and attention into the house. It really was perfect! After traveling the whole world, this is by far one the most beautiful beaches I have seen. You can see the sea lions from the bedroom window and on a short walk I saw a penguin. While there are little houses next to the property, the neighbors are seldom there. I stayed for a month and saw people maybe two or three times. The rest of the time it felt extremely private. The house is about 25min drive on an unpaved road from Milton. A super tiny town. So if you want to get away, this is the place. What a hidden gem! Super recommended.

Emily was a fantastic host! The house is truly beautiful, and you can see thoughtful touches in every detail. During our stay, she responded promptly to any questions we had. There was a brief power outage, but she fixed it even before we could contact her. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay!

Stan has a great place. He is easy to communicate with and always available. The little house fit our family of 6 perfectly. The kitchen is well equipped. The yard was nice, it was close proximity to beach. Beautiful homemade decorations/paintings which were great. It was also a quick drive to nearby attractions. We enjoyed our last stay on the South Island. Thank you!

Liisa was extremely helpful and friendly. The place was modern and spotless. Situated at the end of a small cul-de-sac, it has lovely mountain views from the lounge, bedroom and small patio area.

Elizabeth’s place is a perfect size for us a family of 3. we were lucky we managed to stargaze before sleeping as the sky was clear! and we loved that there was an alpaca farm really close by and my daughter enjoyed it so much we actually went to feed the pacas and llamas twice! the supermarket is near too, so it was really great. also, we’re really thankful for the heaters, we were kept warm. and it was really thoughtful of Elizabeth to prepare some chocolates, juice, milk and eggs! we appreciate small gestures like these. i’d recommend anyone coming to Fairlie to stay here, definitely no regrets!
