The place is 10 km from the local center and 40 km from the city center of Vaasa, the capital of the Pohjanmaa/Österbotten county. The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.

For 2 adults (not suitable for children, but small infants possible). It is very well equipped and located only 15 m from the shore line. Two older bikes available for our guests. Suitable for use all around the year (electrical floor heating and A/C). The hosts are availible most of the time, and speak English, Swedish and Finnish.

In the heart of the forest, close to the airport and a short drive from Vaasa. The accommodation is in a very quiet environment. Lena is very responsive and perfectly organizes our stay.

Jacob Oasis turned out to be a great find and perfect place for us to have a birthday getaway! The house is very well equipped, and even though it was very windy during our stay, we enjoyed jacuzzi, sauna, barbecue and just looking at the water and watching sunrises. We even had a photoshoot! Great deal, highly recommended!

Booked on the same night and arrived at the property in the evening. It was easy to find. Turning into the yard opened up a wonderful garden and the cottage exceeded expectations. The cat came to greet us right away, even in the living room. The sauna had gentle steam. Toys for a 3-year-old were found outside and the twins were able to lower themselves to the floor of the cottage to play. The cottage had all the necessary tableware and needs for cooking. We slept well. Thank you for this experience. Full 5 stars.

It’s our second time here and still had a great time! Very nice location. A great place to spend time with family and nature. Very spacious and lots of activities that you can do both indoor and outdoor. The kitchen is fully equipped. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, enjoy, and relax, this is the place. We had a wonderful stay at Harri's house, who welcomed us very kindly upon arrival. The place is beautiful, and the lake views too. The hot tub and wood-fired sauna were amazing! This place is idyllic, and we will keep wonderful memories of it. We would highly recommend it!
