Cottage vacation rentals in Oslofjord

We loved our holiday. We didn't do a great deal of exploring, just enjoyed the snow. There's enough of a hill immediatelyoutside the front door for a bit of sledging, and fantastic mountain views while in the hot tub.

Ce logement est vraiment une pépite ! Le cadre est vraiment phénoménal avec une vue magnifique et le lac gelé nous a permis de vivre un séjour magique ! Nous avons aussi pu utiliser le sauna et le jacuzzi c'était vraiment la cerise sur le gâteau ! Un énorme merci pour votre disponibilité et ce séjour inoubliable !

Super peaceful location - and open space.

Wir hatten mit unseren beiden Kindern eine tolle Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus mit direktem Blick auf den Fjord. Es war sehr ruhig und erholsam. Die Gegend ist großartig und man kann auch direkt vom Haus aus loswandern… besonders haben wir den super Pool genossen!

Utrolig flott sted og god plass til familie på tre. Vi har kost oss veldig! Godt utstyrt kjøkken. Står i beskrivelsen «jacuzzi», og leste det på tidligere anmeldelser, men den som var ute var ikke i bruk. Noe som er forståelig såpass tidlig i sesongen. Men veldig fint med boblebad inne. Fint å gå opp til Vedlausfjell, vakker natur. Små og store har kost oss, så tusen takk for lånet! Veldig hyggelig vert, som både tok kontakt og var tilgjengelig på telefon.

Jag och min hund spenderade nyår här, långt bort från raketer och annat stök. Huset ligger fantastiskt vackert med skogen som närmsta granne. Det var enkelt att hitta och upplyst när vi kom. Rekommenderar starkt!

Arendal is such a beautiful coastal town. I feel so fortunate to have been able to revisit it and share its deep history with my husband and our children. Gro’s place felt like home away from home. Authentic Norwegian home that satisfied my fond childhood memories of visiting grandparents there. Very walkable. Quiet neighbourhood. Attentive, helpful, generous hosts. Well maintained home that is old by North American standards but also extremely well maintained and up to date with modern conveniences. I hope to be able to return!

Huset har en nydelig beliggenhet, og stedet byr på ro rett ved vannet. Rent, ryddig og pent. Lett å trives. Robert var enkel å kommunisere med underveis.

The time we spent in this place was wonderful. On the first day, we met Jenny, who told us what to expect in the area. We encountered a moose and organized a quick walk to the lake. A very pleasant detail was the small treats left by the owner. The following days were filled with family trips around the area, boating, campfires, and visits to the nearby town. Over these few days, we managed to relax, and we left the area with reluctance.

An ideal location for families with kids. We greatly enjoyed the large yard, the trampoline and the proximity to the beach. Next time we would just like to stay longer.

We had a lovely stay at Hege’s house whilst visiting family. It is set in a rural location on a non-working farm, surrounded by fields. It has lovely views and is very peaceful. It is a short drive from Spydeberg where you can catch a direct train into Oslo and also find supermarkets and shops. It is a traditional Norwegian house and was spotlessly clean with everything we needed for our stay (towels, linen, kitchen items like dishwasher tablets and so on). Stephen and Hege made us very welcome, checking that we had everything we needed from time to time, whilst also giving us our privacy. Overall, a lovely place to stay and we could not rate the house or hosts more highly.

Dit charmante oude huis is werkelijk een pareltje. Het is volledig gemeubileerd en biedt alle moderne gemakken die je nodig hebt. Gelegen op een rustige locatie, geniet je hier van een adembenemend uitzicht. Als je Telemarken wilt ontdekken, is dit een perfecte uitvalsbasis.

Wunderbares Haus mit tollem Garten in großartiger Lage. Ausstattung wie in der Anzeige beschrieben wirklich top. Insgesamt hatten wir eine wirkliche tolle Zeit und können die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen ☺️

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Evas liebevoll eingerichteter Unterkunft mitten in der Natur. Für uns Städter eine regelrechtes Paradies. Wir hatten den See für uns alleine, einen fantastischen Ausblick von der Terrasse und haben die Zeit am Kamin mehr als genossen. Absolut empfehlenswert für eine ruhige Auszeit vom Alltag!

Das Haus in Fjällbacka hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es liegt in einer traumhaften Gegend. Wir wurden schon sehr nett mit Obst und Gebäck empfangen. Anna wollte uns sogar persönlich begrüßen, doch leider sind wir zu spät abends angekommen. Sie hat uns einige tolle Ausflüge empfohlen, die wir natürlich gerne gemacht haben. Sie waren wirklich sehenswert. Im Haus hat es an nichts gefehlt. Mit dem kleinen Häuschen zusammen war es perfekt für 5 Personen. Die Kommunikation verlief super. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Vielleicht kommen wir ja wieder.

Veldig fornøyde med oppholdet vårt på hytten til Brigitte. Nydelig og rolig omgivelser, og en toppmoderne hytta som inneholdt alt man kan trenge, og mere til. Ønsker gjerne og komme tilbake til hytta.

Vi leide huset to netter i forbindelse med tur til Bø i Sommerland. Flott hus som perfekt for barna da det var flere leker både ute og inne.
