Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Orcas Island

The house is exactly as described. The most beautiful views we have ever had at a rental. Bald eagles flew right past us. We had an issue with the fire alarm and Sylvia quickly sent a maintenance person to fix the issue. The only downside was the bedroom upstairs with the skylight was very bright, but waking up to the sound of waves outside more than made up for that. highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay. The area was beautiful, and the beach was a dream. It was so quiet and peaceful! The space was so clean and welcoming! We definitely will be back!!

The location and outdoor surroundings are superb; so beautiful, private, and peaceful! The place is a little dated and could use some updates, but overall, this was a lovely stay for our group of 6. The hosts communicated very well; everything was clear and organized. Thank you!

We had a lovely, peaceful stay. It was less than a 5 minute drive to some overlooks for beautiful sunsets. The tree net was fun and unique. It was strikingly quiet! The bathhouse worked just fine, close to the cabin and clean. The shower was nice and stocked with toiletries. The cabin was a perfect place to stay while exploring San Juan Island. Close to Lime Kiln by car. It was our first time visiting and we enjoyed cozying up in the cabin after a day of hiking or exploring. The French press and coffee were a major plus! We were charmed by the island and by the cabin. I frankly loved having no cell service (true for most of SJI for me—tip to Verizon users!), it was a forced disconnect. I downloaded the Google map in advance so I could use it offline, which was helpful in navigating. Raeleen was proactive with instructions and texted to check in after our first night. Thank you so much and we hope to visit again someday! Highly recommend if you want to go off the grid and recharge!

Great spot with lots of places to sleep and hang out. Was perfect for our group. The nice deck with a great view of the sunset is a bonus!

Priceless views and amazing architecture are showpieces of this magnificent home that combines coziness, elegance, comfort and rustic charm. We’ve stayed at many airbnbs, but this one is a new favorite. It’s an ideal getaway for the whole family; plus it’s close to interesting hikes and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked for eating at home. We didn’t enjoy the taste of the well water, but bought drinking water at Tru Value. Carley was very responsive and helpful throughout. We would love to come back in the summer.

Great place to stay in the middle of the village. Convenient walk for groceries and restaurants. Very quiet at night. Well lit loft with skylight for star gazing. Linnea was proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed for our week-long stay.

No complaints at all, beautiful home with a Lake view from the back of the house and an ocean view from the front of the house. The beach access is a short walk away. We saw seals, bald eagles and lots of deer. Very beautiful and peaceful. We will be staying here again for sure. The house has everything you need. 10/10 recommend

Emma's place was perfect for our needs. There was plenty of room for all of us - including our 2 big dogs! The decor is lovely, just like the pictures, but free from clutter, which I appreciated. The kitchen had every item we needed to make our meals. The sauna and cold soak tub were a very appreciated bonus! The neighborhood is very peaceful, and felt safe for walking our dogs. Most importantly was how kind, gracious, and communicative Emma was. She allowed us to check in early, which helped us immensely, and answered any questions we had quickly. I would definitely recommend this rental to others.

We loved our time in this relaxing, comfortable and sweet home. The view was amazing and the neighborhood was quiet, a perfect place to unwind. The bed was comfortable and the listing was accurate. Hosts were responsive and their recommendations were spot on. We’d definitely stay here again!

What a great spot! Nestled in the woods in a peaceful and quiet setting this place is truly one-of-a-kind. The house is very unique with lots of character that sets it apart from the usual stays. It was clean and had all we needed. Our host Gramma Rikki was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and we could not take advantage of all the outdoor spaces and amenities. We played pool, sat by the cozy fire and did some island exploring by car. All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing getaway despite the crummy weather. We hope to return one day and experience everything this wonderful place has to offer.

We were a group of three couples with two kids between us, and the house was perfect for us (air hockey was a hit, as were the spectacular views). When the door code didn’t work on our way in, the agents helped us right away — very responsive.

The only complaint I have is the bed in the bedroom. Could not sleep on it very squeaky, wiggly, mattress very lumpy.. needs a foam mattress and new frame. It was so uncomfortable. Thank god the couch was comfortable. Hopefully he will replace the bed by the next time I stay.

Jackie was lovely and welcomed our group to her home. The location was quiet (other than animal sounds and children staying in the tent) and very peaceful. The perfect place to stay and check out the surrounding towns.

This is a delightfully beachy cabin, right on the beach, that welcomes dogs. Beautiful sunsets!! I cooked a family birthday dinner for five in the compact kitchen, and was pleasantly surprised by the number of tools and serving supplies available. Towels, fans, throw blankets, and other comfort items were well stocked. Close proximity to Bellingham, and a nice day trip from Mt. Baker. Recommended!

Our stay at Bettina's was great! We traveled with our pup and toddler. The house was very private and offered plenty of outdoor space for our dog to explore safely. We also really appreciated that there weren't a lot of trinkets around the house for our toddler to mess with. The high chair and crib that were provided were an added bonus! Overall, our stay was peaceful, private, clean, and offered beautiful ocean views!

We needed a break from the city & some relaxation. This cabin was just what the doctor ordered! I felt inspired & transported by the meticulously curated cabin in Skagit Valley. We usually stay in Bellingham and this was such an unexpected Gem! So many things to do nearby in Bow Edison. There's a nearby tavern and all the wonderful views of Skagit Valley where land & water come together. I loved loved loved all the infused aromatic sprays and french linens. The entire experience was a living catalog! Too cute! the yard was private and expansive to bring in the outdoors and fee like you'rel part of nature. There's a pond with a little spring outside the window and great bistro table for having coffee in front. The dishware was also higher standard then most! We will be back for sure! Feeling so lucky to have found it!

Amazing location right on the lake with all the water toys you could possibly need. Close to mountain bike. Wonderfully furnished and an all around perfect place to stay for a week in Bellingham.

The house is clean, pretty and comfortable and the hosts are very friendly and responsive when we had questions. We really appreciate their hospitality in lending us a car to get around the island when the ferry was out of service for the cars and only allowed for the passengers. We had amazing stay at Woodpecker!

We had a great time here! The home was clean and well set up for a long weekend visit. The house set up is a bit unusual, but it is a historic home and it wasn't problematic at all. The bedrooms were on the 'bottom' floor and the main living space was the 'main' floor. The kitchen was large and had everything that we needed. We had plenty of towels and sheets. The hosts were great with communication too. The only things that I would note for others - and really these are MY issues and if I had read the listing more closely I would have seen them. One, the driveway is a hill. We have a (non 4wd) minivan and it was a little challenging to drive it up the hill. If it was muddy or icy, it would have been a lot more difficult. Also while the home was pretty kid friendly, we did have to put away the fire tools (just a head's up for others) and I wish that there was another lock on the bottom floor door, as our escape artist toddler kept opening it. But overall, great stay! Thank you!

This place was perfect for our relaxing getaway to Orcas Island! It is located right next to the ferry terminal making it easy to find with ample parking. Watching the ferries come and go from the deck at sunset was a great way to end the day. 15 minutes from Eastsound and good coffee across the street. Complementary coffee and wine. Comfortable linens, bathrobes and slippers to make our stay even more cozy. There is also a private jetty shared with the other units which was great for a morning dip. Amy, the host, is super friendly and welcoming and gave us plenty of recommendations based on our itinerary. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Orcas!

We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful place. June and David were incredibly flexible with check in when we knew we’d be on an early ferry. They were so generous and helpful when we needed some extra things for an event we were going to. Such Kind and friendly hosts. . We cook so the great kitchen was a joy. efficient and clean. It’s always A treat when everything works out like you hoped it would. Thank you June and David✨
