The house was just as in the pictures, what was described. It was spotless when we entered the house and all the amenities mentioned are provided. The host Mr. Viswanathan was proactive and was very helpful while providing clear instructions to reach to the house. I had travelled with my family and extended family and had a good stay there. Great place!

It felt like a home you want to have in karaikudi, just the right size and well maintained. Muthu was a great host who was very helpful and made sure we had everything. House had a great porch and backyard with lots of trees so it dint feel hot at all which is rare to find in karaikudi. Our family is pretty picky when it comes to choosing a house. We will not accept anything of low standard. Muthus house, i would say it is a rare find in karaikudi.

Mamta’s place was as described. Cleaner rooms with all the amenities mentioned. We felt like a home stay as our kids enjoyed the place as our home. Right from hall to rooms to washrooms, everything kept clean and ready for our stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for homestay with quiet surrounding.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Agnimitra's place. It was precisely as described in the listing and photos. The place was clean and comfortable and was absolutely appropriate for the several day's of my visit. I would be happy to stay there again if I return to Madurai. Due to the monsoons, there were challenges with the WiFi and even the cooking apparatus concerning electrical consistencies; but the much-appreciated attention and responsiveness of Agnimitra ensured that all was resolved in good time. Agnimitra deserves his designation as a Superhost. He was available ASAP whenever I contacted him for assistance. I am pleased to recommend Agnimitra's place for a pleasant and rewarding stay.

Antique Abode with Modern Twist

I struggled to locate the place as I'm directionally challenged! Mr. Gunashekaran who owns the place patiently guided me till I reached it. He also helped me get an auto to move around! Helpful is an understatement! The accommodation (ground floor) was spanky clean and comfortable! I had the entire place to myself - a foyer, a drawing cum dining hall, a bedroom, and a kitchen (in case you need to make tea or heat up some food). There's space at the back to dry out clothes. Amazing filter coffee in the morning by the hosts. They insisted on giving me dinner rather than the leftover curd rice I was planning to have! Dinner was a yummalicious vegetable upma with a tangy Chettinadu kozhambu (curry) to accompany it! Super hospitality! Highly recommend this well-maintained place for the amazing hospitality if you're Karaikudi bound!

We had an unforgettable night at “Mithila Eco Stay” hosted by Vairavan from July 5th to 6th. Vairavan and his family warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home. The food was excellent and plentiful, and the property is enchanting. Communication with Vairavan was exceptional; he speaks clear and fluent English. The property was impeccable, very clean, and well-organized. We appreciated the air conditioning, fan, and the kind gesture of a bottle of water on arrival. Situated in a peaceful area surrounded by greenery, “Mithila Eco Stay” is just a few minutes from Chettinad. Vairavan enhanced our experience by guiding us and sharing insights into the local culture, allowing us to connect authentically with the area. We are very happy with our stay and highly recommend this property for a relaxing and enriching experience. Thank you, Vairavan, for making our stay so special!

Our stay here was excellent and peaceful. Good restaurants were around the corner and easy to access. The staff Mahalakshmi and Satish were very helpful and kind during our stay. I would recommend this home stay to everyone who wish to stay just on the outskirts of Madurai.

The stay was simple, hassle free and nice. The rooms are super clean. A kitchen with induction and few vessels. Parking available out of the building. Area is residential and absolutely good with restaurants around. Nandini ji ..the host is warm, prompt and responsive. Lighting is good. A tiny balcony facing towards the road. Meenakshi Temple is almost 4/5 kms. Place sufficient for 3 adults and 1 kid. Just felt bed linen should be upgraded quality and quantity wise. And, Bathroom can be cleaned bit more. Totally pleasant stay! 9/10.. recommended any day !
