Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ohrdruf

Our accommodation was very comfortable and the location was great for visiting many interesting places. We enjoyed the garden and trees and the rural setting. Apolda itself was an unexpected bonus, as was our very friendly hostess Erika.

We felt super comfortable in the beautiful house and spent a pleasant short vacation with our friends. Depending on the sun's position and mood, we found many inviting places around the house to linger comfortably up to an exclusive free seat I'm tree house... what more could you want!

I highly recommend! Check in was easy, the apartment was spot on and location was in a great spot on.

We were there with the whole family (15 people) and very satisfied. There was enough space and in the large living room we could all sit together comfortably. The hot tub and garden were also used extensively :). The beds were very comfortable and the sofa beds were also provided with a topper, so that the children slept really well. Definitely a clear recommendation.

The stay at Olaf and Nicole's was wonderful. Also worth mentioning is the great directions. We were received very nicely, and everything was shown and explained to us. The house was very clean, everything as you would expect and everything you need in it, as well as some games. Olaf also helped us and stoked the pool. Wonderful location, beautiful view over the city, perfect to pursue your hobbies undisturbed or simply to relax in the whirlpool in the sun. Thank you very much and happy to come back! Katja's apartment absolutely met my expectations. During our weekend, we found it to be an oasis of tranquility where you could completely leave the outside world behind. The spacious living area invites you to cook and play together and the sleeping options were comfortable and cozy. The highlight was definitely the hot tub, which we were allowed to use in January at an outside temperature of 0°C. A hike on the Ettersberg rounded off our weekend and many Weimar restaurants deliver their food to Gaberndorf. A great, modern apartment with friendly hosts that we will definitely book again! :)

We were totally delighted with the accommodation! The location is great - beautiful in the countryside and completely quiet and peaceful. Maria and her family were very friendly, and helpful. The terrace is completely fenced, so we were able to park our dog there well. The occasional barking was also friendly by the hosts. And then the sauna and the hot pot - there are no wishes left unfulfilled!

We felt very comfortable. The large window was great and the sunsets that could be observed from the sofa were a dream. The location is nice and quiet, but by car you can quickly reach Erfurt and Wismar. We can only recommend the apartment.

Super great place - we would definitely come back if we are in Weimar again. On foot a nice walk to the center(about 15 min), quietly located, have breakfast beautifully undisturbed on the terrace in the sun. Also equipped 1A; even with extras such as slippers (is also quite cold foot), various Playing and books, hot water bottle, coffee grinder & milk frother, tea, spices, etc.

Our stay at Katja's place was pleasant. The space was clean and well-maintained, with new utensils that made meal preparation a breeze. The surrounding area was quiet, providing a restful environment. The host was responsive and attentive, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. A particular highlight for our young kid were the toys provided. However, it’s worth noting that the apartment is situated on the top floor, requiring several flights of stairs. Overall, a suitable accommodation for a tranquil getaway.

Had a great stay. Our dog loved it too. The staff were totally friendly and attentive. We will be happy to come back!

Sabine made our Christmas in Germany unforgettable. From the start, she welcomed us with warmth, kindness, and incredible attention to detail. She thoughtfully assigned rooms for our large group and arranged the furniture to ensure everyone felt comfortable and at home. Even though we arrived early, Sabine greeted us with her son, giving us a warm, heartfelt welcome. She provided a detailed tour of the house, patiently explaining everything and answering our questions. To make our holiday special, Sabine decorated every room with glowing Christmas decorations and left thoughtful treats—candy, beer, and wine. Her generosity brought tears to my eyes, and we began our trip with laughter, hugs, and a deep sense of care. Meeting Sabine and her son was the highlight of our trip. We’re so grateful for her thoughtfulness, warmth, and the love she put into making our holiday so memorable.

We had a really nice weekend here with a larger group of friends. Shopping was just around the corner, there was a barbecue and relaxed hiking trails nearby. The old inn is well maintained and also easily accessible by public transport. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. I'd love to come back :)

Very nice and clean apartment in a quiet location. Kitchen and bathroom are perfectly equipped. Hosts Uwe and Christel are very nice and helpful. Excursion destinations are easily accessible by car. I had a very nice getaway, clear recommendation. Many thanks!

We had a great weekend at Kathi's beautiful cottage. It's all there that makes it very easy to feel comfortable right away. Great room layout for 3 families with small children, top amenities, tastefully furnished, lovingly decorated. We will be happy to come back!

We had a nice week stay at Angelika's. Shops are nearby, the tram station is also just 5 minutes away. It's a nice, privates apartment with all sorts of kitchen equipment and toys for kids. We can only recommend a stay at Angelika's! 😊

My grandparents enjoyed their stay here very much! They felt comfortable from the start as the place was clean, cozy and exactly as described. Christine was extremely friendly and helpful, and check-in went smoothly. The location was perfect for them. They still rave about the beautiful days there and were completely satisfied. Linda is a great host. Our team stayed over 2 months in her lovely home. She is very polite and hospitality person. We highly recommend her place.

Constanze and André are super nice and very communicative hosts. They had many tips for us and were always accessible for questions. We (a family of 4 with young children) felt very comfortable in the house and garden, with barbecue, fireplace, pool, playground, trampoline, bicycles and the hangover. The location was optimal for us: With the bikes we were in the old town of Weimar in 10 minutes, on the other hand you could also walk directly over the field to the Ilm or ride a bike on the Ilm bike path. A supermarket with a bakery is within walking distance. We will be happy to come back!
